And one man stated in an article published on this site that Burna isn't a legend. That Burna isn't worthy of the tag.

This is just one parameter considering the African continent o. Not even Nigeria alone. But see the gap he gave the next artist.

Again, the fact speaks for itself.
His music and especially stage presence far exceeds Davido and whizkid...........these artistes should learn to perform with a live band!

PoliticsRe: Opposition Presidential Candidates Beg Tinubu For Appointments by Abufo: 8:20pm On Aug 31, 2023
Bobloco:
Some opposition presidential candidates, who took part in the 2023 general elections, on Thursday met with the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, begging him to prevail on President Bola Tinubu to include them in his ‘Government of National Competence’.

Tinubu as president-elect had, in reaction to calls for a Government of National Unity, said he would go beyond that and establish a ‘Government of National Competence‘.

Some of the presidential candidates who met with Ganduje at the National Secretariat of the party included those of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA; Action Democratic Party, ADP; National Rescue Movement NRM; Action Peoples Party, APP, among others.

During the visit, the presidential candidate of the National Rescue Movement, NRM, Ambassador Felix Osakwe, spoke on behalf of the Forum of Concerned Presidential Candidates.

He said they are for the peace and development of Nigeria, hence their refusal to challenge Tinubu’s mandate at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal PEPT.

Where is the Igbo pride?

Shebi dem dey always brag about bowing to only their chi n that they don’t respect anyone, I think their chi have been replaced with northern elders

Pride truly goeth before catastrophic fall

The northern elders they hate with passion is who they are begging today
I do not know who is more foolish of these three??.........the press reporting on a statement from the one man Ohaneze faction, the real Ohaneze that never rebutts the fake ohaneze or the OP above , who actually should be begging ESN to stop molesting the Nigerian army in the south east!

PoliticsRe: Gabon: Expect More Coups In Africa – Femi Fani-kayode( FFK ) by Abufo: 3:31pm On Aug 30, 2023
festacman:
I am afraid for Cameroon, Togo and Equatorial Guinea because these countries ticks the vital boxes. Paul Biya, Eyedema and the fathead in Equatorial Guinea are sure undergoing tension now and I just hope that many suspected innocent army officers won't be proactively arrested and killed for nothing to prevent coup.

France slept too long on romancing with bad leaders to maintain status quo and 'peace' to facilitate the continued exploitation of former colonies that if failed to notice that realities of the time. France failed to rein in the Presidents of the Francophone countries after independence to AT LEAST do the right for their citizens and obey the constitution on terms of office. It has the implicit moral authority to pressure these African Presidents to grow the economy, which would have benefited France economy too in the long run. It allowed Félix Houphouët-Boigny of Ivory Coast to stay for too long. It looked away while Gnassingbé Eyadéma of Togo grow old in office and even handed to his son who is still in power. They pampered Ahmadou Ahidjo and later senile Paul Biya of Cameroon. It preferred to rather accept the helpless young citizens of these countries as migrants in France in continuation of its exploitative agenda. Stupid.

Even though Britain's policy through Commonwealth organization is mainly for prestige, it also failed to rein in the Presidents of the Anglophone countries to do the right thing for their citizens. It just stayed aloof while the economies of former colonies are mismanaged by their leaders and would rather house the fortunes which these selfish leaders stole from their countries. Sad.

In as much I believe that the Juntas are not any better than the politicians, my prayer is that this coup epidemic will force African leaders to wake up and smell the coffee.
when will you understand that the European powers are the ones engineering the crisis of bad governments in Africa.....when good leaders arise somehow they do not las long in power......but the dictatorial ones sit in power for ages! who killed Lumumba,Sankara, muritala etc Africans need to understand that Europe is heavily invested in African remaining poor!

In all military form of government is still not the best form of government. In a short while, the military boys will start looting and all form of human rights abuses will start taking place.

Say no to military government.
I do not like military coups but more people have died under this so called democracy than under the military regime! See how Buhari weaponised fulani herdsmen in a bid to take ancestral homelands on non fulani tribes!
TravelRe: Lagos Ranked 5th In Africa For Living And Working: Is This The Reality? by Abufo: 2:17pm On Aug 30, 2023
YesDaddyTill203:
I have been to casablanca twice, I have been to Nairobi, Dar Elsalam and Addis Ababa once each.
First, Lagos has way more population than all these cities yet they have their own unique problems.
Casablanca being so close to Europe is probably the best of them all in terms of development but they still have bad sections of the city.
Dar Elsalam and Nairobi are not that populated and as big as Lagos. One of the biggest problems in Lagos is the population. Too many people trying to survive in such a condensed environment without adequate infrastructure.
I'll still pick Lagos over all these cities at the end of the day. The business opportunities that exists in Lagos cannot be found in these other cities.
thus is a liveability index and not potential for business profit.......no mix am up!
