yahoodetector: Igbos won this again. 💪🏾😎
Most of the trucks that convey containers which omowida boys chase for "egunje" which majority of the proceeds goes to LASG and a greater share to the "Lagos Landlord" get their spare parts from Ladipo market.
We are not even talking about Danfo spare parts and that of other vehicles.
Who ship in these spare parts? Who are the majority of the traders in the market?
No Yoruba or Hausa man fit get mind throw as much as N200m into shipping MACK and DAF spare parts in over 3 containers into Nigeria from the US and Europe.
Moral of the lesson: That you are politically strong means nothing when you try to fight someone who is Economically strong! IT WILL STILL BACKFIRE ON YOU! You will be shocked at the number of yorubas who own shops in this same market........I am a stickler for rules for all! In fact the used spare parts sector was started by yorubas b4 ndigbo overtook them! |

Let's note that, this is not really a religious war as some people are viewing it, there are more Muslims in Israel than Christians and there are more Christians in Gaza than on Israel.
So let's pray for peace in the region and not only for Israel of Palestine...
Some people are saying the Jews does not love Christians yet Christians are supporting them, but it is also clear that Muslims don't love Christians too.,which means, this war is far from been a religious war The negro race is true Isreal! The European jews in Isreal today are proselytes......... |

accordadoga26: This thread aim to delve into a complex and often controversial comparison – the similarities between Hamas, the Palestinian political organization, and the Biafra secessionist movement in Nigeria.
Here are some of the similarities between Hamas and Biafra
1. They don't strategize before they attack
2. They start what they can't finish.
3. They attack first and when they are at the receiving end they play the victim card.
4. When they launch an attack and destroy others, their people/supporter rejoice but when the reverse is the case, they suddenly remember human rights.
5. They are emotional forgetting to always apply logic.
6. They lack weaponry so depend on financial supports from external sources to procure arms and ammonitions
7. They still rely on their so called enemies for food, electricity, water and shelter Infantile rubbish!! You wey start what you can finish…,,,how market! you are as wretched and illiterate as any unfortunate person in that hell you call a country!! |
Politics › Re: Do Igbos Think Peter Obi Is Competent Or Its Bragging Rights They Want by Abufo: 11:09am On Oct 10, 2023 |
sukkot: they know one man can’t perform miracles and they also know their man won’t perform miracles. This is a little unspoken secret which I will let out, ndigbo only want their man in power for BRAGGING RIGHTS. That’s all. Nothing more nothing less. Just for bragging rights. You see the Igbo culture is predicated on bragging. It’s a culture that is deep rooted in bragging and trying to show off. This why they all try to build mansions in the village to show off. Even watching the man and seeing how he moves it’s all about showing off and displaying expensive cars and basically it’s a culture where the need to get the ego stroked constantly by showing expensive things is a never ending quest. It’s all about bragging and hedonism. And trying to get an Igbo president is just another way to make a lot of noise and brag when it happens. The fact that they cannot brag that the strongest and most powerful man in the land is an Igbo man is a constant source of irritation to them and the source of the strong desire for biafran agitation. The Biafra agitation is because they don’t have that bragging right to shout that the strongest man in the country is an Igbo man, which there is nothing wrong in being a braggart, we can accommodate your character flaws just as you accommodate ours but at least present us with a viable Igbo person as president then you can then have 8 years of bragging and noise making . We would happily give you that but it seems you are hell bent on getting this bragging rights at the expense of our countries future by presenting us with a man who ran anambra into the ground. The man will run the country into the ground. Try and post phone your desire to brag about an Igbo president till you present somebody like okonjo iweala. So truthfully igbos don’t really want a great country and neither do they think a great country can be achieved from the presidential seat, all they want is an Igbo president so they can satisfy that undying Igbo desire to brag. It’s all a quest to satisfy the desire to brag . To nurture the ego and the pride. Nothing more , nothing less No .....you all want Ebola escobar for his competence and integrity.............the problem is that you cannot fathom an Igbo man ruling Nigeria....imagine an okoro calling the shorts in naija, that will be over their dead bodies......I say one mighty AMEN to that! |

ChimaAdeoye: When our prominent people collect and celebrate these useless certificates from irrelevant Nigerian institutions I just wonder if they are truly awake to what is happening around them. Let's face it, these people should seriously be seeking partnerships with some African countries where they would fly and could be a flag carrier for them.
In fact, they could float alternative airlines registered in those African countries, and then utilize their international airports as hubs for traveling into key European and North American international routes via that country's capital city. Leaving all their operations within Nigeria and banking on being allowed to grow in Nigeria is a strategic error that they would regret in the future. Many West and Central African countries like Liberia, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Guinea Bissau and Guinea Conakry are a few that would gladly partner to have a flag carrier. Even Dangote with all his connections within Nigeria's Federal Government understood that he had to build cement factories in other African countries as a strategic growth initiative and not solely depend on its Nigerian operation as its only strategy.
I personally don't believe that Boeing or Airbus will set up in a Sub-Saharan African country (Except South Africa). Talk more about leaving the national airports of those countries and setting up in their regional airports. Foreign investors are not that stupid to invest billions of dollars in immovable assets in a country like Nigeria with a very weak Judiciary and other infrastructure such as electricity etc. Only hangers built by a Nigerian airline in any airport of their choice can happen in Nigeria. we constantly overhype the attractiveness of the Nigerian market! Nigeria as presently constituted and run is not a very attractive option for international players in aviation or any field for that matter.........hell the country is not even an attractive option for the nation's middle class! |

FreeStuffsNG: After Kano state and Kaduna state, only Anambra state is intentionally and closely learning from the Yoruba and Lagos state. This is why we must learn to collaborate by reciprocity.
That's why all the SW states must adopt reciprocity too as adviced here : LAGOS GUBER & PLIGHT OF IGBO: Law Of Reciprocity Is The Solution https://www.nairaland.com/7612989/lagos-guber-plight-igbo-law
Let's collaborate by reciprocity so we can have equitable and sustainable relationship among ourselves and the states. It helps us place value on what we each offer to one another and de-escalate our fault lines.
Every resource must be exchanged by reciprocity for collaboration. Every state has resources to exchange so bring it to the table and use for exchange.
You can not keep holding to your own resources tightly and deplete those of others you demonstrably hate and resent as your host. It's a recipe for intertribal injustice and anarchy.
Let's collaborate by reciprocity and respect and love for one another. God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs! Yes I agree with you a 100%...........A yoruba head of state super-intended the excision of oil bearing igbo territory of Egbema/Ohaji and Obigbo/Afam into Rivers state in order to impoverish Ndigbo in perpetuity.........that excision led to the influx of newly minted oil engineers from where?
