Rashduct4luv:
Muslims have a full Islamic law with provisions for almost anything! Our laws can successfully be used to govern a country as was practised by our last Prophet.

Christians on the other hand can not boast of this. They have no laws and will mostly borrow from Mosaic laws, etc and this is not realistic in successfully governing a country. No wonder there is no Christian country which fully use Christian laws. Christians will always need common laws made by man...

Please Christians respect our laws.

Christmas is not really the day Jesus was born.

Even at that, we dont believe Jesus was God or one of 3 Gods, so why do we need to greet u/celebrate with u for the birth of your Lord?

And we dont celebrate birthdays at all.

Respect this and move on.

What's even the point of congratulating people that hate you and your religion anyway . Congratulation abosi. Shior!

Lol .the same Shaykh Yahya Al Hajuri that has been granted official permission by the Ministry of Religious Affairs to teach Tafseer ibn Katheer after Fajr and Al Muntaqa of Ibn Al Jaarud after Maghrib in Masjid Taqwa, in Makkah.

That decree was passed by the Minister of Religious affairs As-Sheikh Saleh Aal Al-Shaykh (haafidhahullah)

The same Yahya Al-Hajuri that Shaykh Saalih Al-fawzaan praised. If you mention 5 scholars that have told you not to take knowledge from Ali Al halabi, Yahya Al hajuri and co, I would mention 10 scholars that have spoken in their defense. It's not a black and white

Recently, I was listening to Shaykh Najmdeen Sulayman when someone was telling him about Jabata. The person said the only person Jabata is willing to debate with is Dr. Alaro. Shaykh Najmdeen replied him and said he wouldn't know why Dr. Alaro is the only person Jabata is willing to debate. He said he hasn't met Dr Alaro personally, but he only knows him to be upon good. I don't know where you got your own info from, but I can provide the link when I have time. It's from the "Iwa Awon Salaf" series on Dawahnigeria

Again, I still maintain that both Shaykh Ajia and Dr. Alaro are upon the Sunnah even though they might have made mistakes. Shaykh Al-Albaani used to warn against this attitude. And even in Nigeria, Dr. Gbadebo warns against it all the time. Abu Naasir does the same

When we tell brothers to stay away from these matters, they call us names. This is what folks busy themselves with these days. It's sad

Anyway, this is my last piece regarding this matter.

And it would appear a lot of brothers these days are more interested in individuals than learning the important things. All I see these days is slander and gossip. Shaykh so so so is this and that. Shaykh this is this. Everyone is now a scholar of Jarh and Ta'deel

As for Jabata, in Shaykh Najmudeen Sulayman 's words, ki olorun ko ba wa to s'ona

AbdelKabir:

Na'am.... The most obvious of them is Dr Alaro from Ilorin, using the methodology of the hizbiyyeen, we have others like "shaykh" Ajia who is upon the bidah of muwaazana which he took from his shaykh, Muhammad Mukhtaar Ash-shanqeeti(don't mistake him with his father, shaykh Muhammad Ameen Ash-shanqeeti rahimahullaah). Reason why "shaykh" Ajia hates shaykh rabee' so much, for exposing Muhammad mukhtaar Ash-shanqeeti. Shaykh Muhammad yahya An-najmee also warned against him same as shaykh ubayd......

Both Dr Alaro and Shaykh Ajia are upon the Sunnah. May Allah preserve them. Also, we need to be very careful of the things we say regarding misunderstanding between scholars. That Shaykh Ubayd or Shaykh Rabee said so so so about a scholar doesn't mean we should just run with it especially if that scholar is known to be upon the Sunnah. In most cases, you'd even find another Shaykh in that same caliber praising that same Shaykh you've been warned against. Reminds me of how brothers were picking sides when Shaykh Rabee and Shaykh Yahya Al Hajuri had misunderstanding.. I see brothers calling the likes of Shaykh Ali Al Halabi, Yahya Al Hajuri, Abu Ishaq Al Huwayni names. These are SCHOLARS! What most people don't know is that these matters aren't black and white. The best thing to do is to avoid them. Scholars make mistakes and they are not infallible. But to start using terms like hizbee mubtadii etc etc would be us going overboard.

And Allah knows best

How can we be descendants of Arabs when the first people came from Africa?

And is being a descendants of Arabs something to be proud of?

Is that why Nigerian Muslims are so barbaric?

If you can't argue without using vulgar language like the Agbero that you are, why don't you stick to your Christian threads?

You don't see us on your threads, do you? Shows how irrelevant you are to us. We don't care.

Ah I'm just seeing it oh. Abdelkabir has posted some very beneficial gems.

Let me also add:

Imo, this is more of an health issue than a religious issue so I doubt you'd get the best advices here.

That said, we can always apply common sense. I think acts like this are mostly caused by boredom. Idle mind is the devil's workshop like they say.

The best advice I can give you is to find more something more positive to do to instead. Something that makes you busy, something that makes you happy. We all have different coping mechanisms.

Read the Quran, listen to some Islamic lectures, get some Islamic magazines like An-Naseehah, go to the mosque and meet new people, go to Halqah, go outside and chat with people, exercise, go to a restaurant and have some good meals.

These are things that can keep your mind off the negatives. It's all about finding a more positive replacement really.

Also, it could also be the regular sexual thirst which we all go through occasionally and it's you finding it difficult to suppress it. This is one of the countless reasons why early marriage is recommended. You should get married if you think you have what it takes to do so

May Allah make it easy for you.

You read biographies of some people and how much knowledge they acquired at their tender ages, then you start thinking about yours. So much has been written about Umm Hasan, the wife of Abu Naasir who passed away last week. These 2 particularly caught me really off guard. I couldn't help but share them.

A Reported Picture of the Prophet & Abu Bakr from Judaeo-Christian Times

It is reported from the Companion Jubayr b. Muṭʿim – Allāh be pleased with him – that he said:

I once travelled to Shām for trade. When I reached lower Shām a man from the People of the Book met me and asked me, “Is there amongst you a man who is a Prophet?” I replied, “Yes.” He then asked, Would you recognise his image if you saw it?” I replied, “Yes.” He then admitted me into a house in which there were images, but I did not see an image of the Prophet ﷺ. While I was there, another man from them entered upon us and asked us “What are you doing?” So we informed him. He then took us to his home, and as soon as I entered I saw the image of the Prophet ﷺ and it showed a man holding on to the heel of the Prophet ﷺ. I asked, “Who is this man holding his heel?” He replied, “There was no prophet except that after him came another prophet, except this prophet, for there is no prophet after him. And this is the khalīfah after him.” And I saw that it looked like Abū Bakr – Allāh be pleased with him.

Every single thing I will be posting regarding these matters are from reliable sources and scholars based on evidence so they will be copied and pasted with no modifications. Matters of Aqeedah are not for every Tom, dick and Harry whereby we start debating nonsense like some people would like us to. Once we start debating these matters, we leave room for shaytan to come in

We believe just exactly as our pious predecessors believed. Anyone that wants to argue can create his or her own thread cos I won't even dignify anyone with a reply.

Henceforth, I'll be creating a lot of threads relating to Tawheed and Aqeedah generally

These topics are the foundation of Islam and they are the most important issues in Islam

Once the Aqeedah is faulty, every other thing is bound to crumble.

عن إبن مسعود وإبن عباس رضي الله عنهما "من أفتي في كل ما يسأل فهو مجنون"

Narrated on the Authority of Ibn Mas'ood and Ibn 'Abbaas (May Allaah Be Please With Them Both):

Whoever Issues a Fatwa for everything that is asked about, then he is Insane.

Taken from Adaabul 'aalim wa muta'allim wa Ahkaamul iftaah of imam An-nawawi......

Once a man came to Imam Malik from a very far distance and he asked him 40 questions. Imam Malik only answered four of them and for the rest of the 36 questions he replied, “I don’t know.”

The man was surprised and asked Imam Malik “what should I tell people about these 36 questions for which you said (I don’t know)?” Imam Malik replied that the man should tell the people that Malik says: “I don’t know,” “I don’t know,” “I don’t know.”

Imam Malik said this 3 times.

RABIUSHILE04:
QUESTION (438)
Is it permissible for a member of the congregation to stand in front of the Imaam?

ANSWER TO THE QUESTION
Praise be to Allaah.
The correct view is that it is obligatory for the Imaam to stand in front, and it is not permissible for a member of the congregation to stand in front of the Imaam, because the Imaam is supposed to be an example and his place is in front of the members of the congregation, so it is not permissible for a person to pray in front of the Imaam.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to pray in front of the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them), and based on that, the prayer of those who pray in front of the Imaam does not count, and they have to repeat their prayer.
But some scholars made an exception in cases of necessity, such as if the mosque is small and there is not enough room for everyone; in that case they may pray to the right and the left of the Imaam, and in front of him and behind him, because of necessity.

See: Majmoo’ Fataawa Ash-Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, (13/44).
May Almighty Allaah accept our prayer as an act of worship.
«Abu Mardiy Kewdirôrun At-thaqoofiy»

Growing up, I remember in the mosque I used to pray, there was this very old man on wheelchair that was always beside the Imaam like 3 steps to the right. I wonder what's the ruling on that
