I don't know what really played out, whether coincidence or just normal occurrences.

I have been reading things like this on Nairaland and watched same from movies, but I just experienced it today. My cousin brother(one year my junior) came to my house after a long time of not seeing and he visited me in my house with his wife. Lo and behold, when they came, the wife who already had two kids for him was my very ex girlfriend in the secondary school, with whom we did naughty things together years back.

When she saw me, she just exclaimed and covered her face with two hands and asking "so na your brother", "long time". Infact, this lady became really uncomfortable. When we were sitting in the living room, she was looking at me intermittently and smiling, and always uttering words like "na wao, I did know you guys relate".

Even my cousin became surprised, that he didn't know I knew her wife before. I told him I knew her for a long time and we were friends along with some of her classmates then in the secondary school, I really did not hit the nail straight to tell him that I dated her in the past.

When my cousin excused himself to make use of the rest room, this lady was telling stuff as "you see what you caused? That if I had not abandoned her, that he wouldn't have married my brother".

Infact, before they left, I noticed that my cousin brother was not really in the same mood like he was before and the woman also feeling unsecured.

Do you think it's right for either of us to let him know that we actually dated?

Nigerians are not entirely bad, honestly. For me, I am kind hearted, but to an extent of paying bills for everyone in a restaurant, I have not done it before, but I can now imbibe that culture of niceness going forward.

This morning, July 15, 2022, I went to a restaurant today in the heart of Abuja, Utako precisely, to get my breakfast, along with other people, numbering seven. There was a middle age man who was there too, to take his. I don't know him from Adams, but I suspect he is not based here in Nigeria, because he a very clear "oyibo" accent when he talked. He ordered for his and a bottle of soft drink and asked everyone that wanted to order for the drink too, although no one ordered for any drink.

Surprisingly, this man finished eating a
and approached the sale attendant and paid all the bills for everyone in the restaurant. We didn't know this until I wanted to pay mine when the food vendor said the man has paid for everyone.

I was really surprised and glad that there are good hearted Nigerians, just like me too.

I enjoin all Nairalanders and all Nigerians to be nice to their brothers and sisters, regardless of class, tribe and religion. This message too, I beg Nairalanders to be ambassadors of this God gesture by propagating and acting it. Thanks
