Some people even have the effrontery to laugh at this man. For a fact HPV has been associated with throat cancer even before Michael Douglas claims but for those who say the would continue Ok now go on until it strikes you one day! |
Sorry I forgot what I wanted to say! No comments till I remember! |
Those of you calling him a coward should pray never to suffer from severe depression, then you'll understand that suicide has little to do with cowardice! |
When we hear of abandoned projects what naturally comes to mind is a corrupt contractor who was handed a project usually a construction project like a building or road and abandoned it to unfairly net money for himself/herself at the expense of the government and tax payers at large. The reality however is that not all abandoned projects are due to corrupt tendencies of contractors as very often incompetence plays a part in it as well. As a government contractor or even a professional in any field one will at one point in time have to embark on a project whether of small or large scale and we can’t seriously think we can succeed if we can’t needed skills in project management and proof that we indeed have those skills by way of certification in this case PMP. What is PMP? It stands for project management professional and is a certification which only a graduate with at least 3 years work experience can acquire. Armed with a PMP the sky is the limit to what you can achieve professionally as a PMP certified professional has at his disposal needed skills to embark upon and successfully supervise projects of any kind or scale regardless of which field the project falls into. So if I’m a teacher with and Bachelors degree with a PMP certification in my kitty I can embark on say a road construction project as the project manager even though I have no background in engineering. That is how versatile this certification makes you. Why Project Management Certification is needed in Abuja? There are a lot of projects going on in Abuja and funny enough many of these projects are handled by inexperienced or incompetent professionals. The cost of having someone who’s inexperienced to handle a project for you is really high we can look at it as a case of penny wise pound foolish which unfortunately is what many people in a bid to cut corners and make an easy buck could be guilty of. The way out is simple: we need to hire experts to handle projects in Abuja. Benefits of a PMP Certification If you’re a certified PMP professional you have quite a lot of reasons to smile. Firstly consider it as a strong edge in the labour market as PMP certification adds to propping up your CV making it more intimidating – in a manner of speaking. Secondly as a professional you need added skills to get you to where you want to be career wise, so as an engineer with PMP training you now have added skills to enable you succeed in your profession handling bigger and more lucrative projects. PMP Training Classes in Abuja So if you’re prepared to take that leap that’ll lead you to eventually becoming a certified PMP professional then you’ll first need to take classes with expert trainers who will guide you successfully in your quest. http://abuja-city..com/2013/05/pmp-training-and-certification-in-abuja.html |

It’s not common to find a Lady who has the ‘boss’ mentality especially in Abuja where there’s a strong presence of many people trying hard to impress others. Most young 20 something year olds are either out in search of jobs or just cruising through life as if it’s one big party. But not so for the Young 21 year old graduate of Economics from Madonna University Okija who from an early age has set out to be her own boss rather than waiting for a man to provide for her or relying on her parents. For Chidinma, every event is a marketing opportunity for people to see the stuff you’re made of hence why she strifes really hard to ensure customer satisfaction at the end of every event she plans and manages. When we pressed her to describe herself, Chidinma puts it this way “simple, ambitious, easy going, fun loving, industrious and independent woman”. She’s the first child in a family of 5 children and growing up was fun in a closely knit family that included extended family members. Chidinma discovered that she had a calling for events and was quick to exploit it by researching the topic from e-books and videos on the internet where she learnt the nitty-gritty of events planning and she’s done well in applying her self taught knowledge to her business rendering services to satisfied customers who happen to be her main source of new business via referrals. Chidinma was born and raised in Lagos until 9 years ago when her family relocated to Abuja where she discovered another side to life she wasn’t used to. “Lagos is a bubbling place but Abuja is more laid back with social life being mostly in the evenings, business is rather slow in Abuja compared to Lagos because you achieve more, faster in Lagos than in Abuja”. When she’s less busy or during her leisure time she listens to music, watches movies or reads. She also enjoys swimming and hanging out with friends. Her parting words to Abuja “be yourself, start thinking of what you want to be or do for yourself and become your own responsibility” a message aptly targeting the average Abuja youth. http://www.abujafood.com/people/spotlight-on/1230-chidinma-chima-oji-a-young-female-abuja-entrepreneur-making-strides.html |

Are you looking for a house for sale in Abuja and don’t have the crazy amount of money some folks quote? Then you should start your search for a property especially a house for sale in the following districts based on their proximity to the city center plus the fact that they’re relatively less expensive. Houses for sale in Wuye District Wuye is one of the fast developing towns in Abuja city center. Presently there is abundant land which isn’t developed but not for long as that was the case a few years ago with other well developed districts such as Jabi and Utako. Houses in Wuye district are not as expensive as say Maitama or Gwarinpa and this is due to untarred roads plus accessibility. Come back in 5 years time and see if you’d find those houses cheap. Houses for sale in Apo District Apo is a highly developed district part of Gudu district. It is very famous for having the Apo legislative quarters which used to be home to Nigeria’s federal law makers. In addition to this is the presence of well developed housing estates and commercial property. Houses in this district for now are not too expensive and if your budget meets with a house for sale our take is buy now. Houses for sale in Gwarinpa Gwarinpa has the largest housing estate in Abuja and possibly Nigeria. There is rapid development coming to this part of Abuja with many rich and famous Nigerians who can afford to own a house opting to settle here. Land prices are high and is likely to continue rising over the coming years. Some popular landmarks in gwarinpa include the punk palace (home to enigmatic Charlie boy) and Houses for sale in Durumi Durumi is a quiet but rapidly developing district. Centrally located and in close proximity with Garki, Kaura and Wuye Districts Durumi is an ideal place for people who want a quiet location close to the city center. Houses for Sale in Jabi District On this list of houses for sale in Abuja Jabi is easily the most expensive as this district is a choice location, well developed and centrally located. There’s hardly any undeveloped land in this district but you’ll find a lot of mansions and posh houses. http://abuja-city..com/2013/05/top-5-places-in-abuja-to-find-houses.html |
Nigerians have an unusual common sense. The same person throwing dirt out of the window will have the effrontery to criticize politicians and govt officials. OP to answer your question: Someone once said Nigerians expect someone else to clean up their mess. |
Depression is a psychological condition that affects 5-8% of Americans and is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States, according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. In comparison, the figure for those suffering from this illness in tragically unknown in Nigeria. More worrying is the denial of the existence of clinical depression sufferers in Nigeria by most Nigerians. Depression is more than just a painful emotion of prolonged misery and anguish. Major depression or clinical depression has been described by physicians as a debilitating disease that if left untreated can lead to self harm or suicide. Depression doesn’t have to lead to suicide if it is treated and controlled. Causes of depression are usually obscure and range between individuals, but there are some common triggers that can be environmental or biological. The symptoms of depression are usually a mixture of various afflictions such as, sadness, poor concentration, fatigue or insomnia, appetite disturbances and morbid thoughts. Treatment for depression is usually prescribed by medical professional and involves a combination of medicine, self help and therapies. Below are just some starting points to help you tackle the blues before you deem it necessary to seek medical help. Pray and Meditate Believe it or not prayer has a natural therapeutic effect. One study indicates that sufferers of depression and anxiety improve in their health when they were part of a person-to-person contact prayer group. Another study indicates that meditation opens ones mind lessens the burden and stigma that comes with depression. Yoga Yoga is a simple way to relieve yourself from the burden of depression by engaging in some relaxing exercise. Yoga enthusiasts have seen remarkable improvement in both their physical and psychological health. Yoga has been known to help with weight loss and improve sleeping patterns. Try Yoga to help free your mind and body. Travel to New Places Traveling especially on vacation has a way of putting ones life in positive perspective. Distancing yourself from your familiar environment even for a short while is great for lifting your spirits and providing much needed breathing space. Try new Things Picking up one or two new hobbies can act as much needed temporary release from the daily stresses of your life. Keeping your mind busy with refreshing or challenging activities can be enjoyable. Try new things and step out of your comfort zone. Socialize More Make new friends, meet new fun and interesting people and above all avoid negative or depressed individuals until you fully recovered from your own depression. The power of human interaction especially those that enable you to share comic experiences and bond over inspiring moments are truly healing. http://www.abujafood.com/news-digest/bite/1226-words-of-advice-for-the-abuja-pedestrian.html |
Wahala, Fulani merceneries usually take advantage of stuff like this to embark on senseless killings! |
If you happen to be among the several thousands of Abuja residents who don’t own a vehicle to help in the everyday commute you’ll understand the sheer difficulty of getting around the city. The experiences of the Abuja pedestrian can be akin to a Greek tragedy or a big screen comedy and we are not exaggerating with the comparisons. The everyday commute for those who walk along the unfriendly Abuja streets can be life threatening or laugh-out-loud comical. Below are just some everyday situations and words of advice for the newly initiated Abuja Pedestrian. Hit and Run When crossing one of the numerous death traps we call expressways, Abuja pedestrians often come to terms with the horrible reality of being hit and run over by speeding drivers. In one clear case, I watched a very inexperienced Abuja pedestrian attempting to cross the very busy Abuja airport express way. This individual did not accurately time his dash and almost got hit by a car that suddenly switched lanes. This particular pedestrian was lucky that day but many others are not so lucky and you can find their mangled bodies in the morgue. Taxi 'One Chance' Robberies Taxis are a necessary evil for the Abuja pedestrian who has no choice but to make use of this form of transportation to get from point A to B. Boarding a taxi especially at night is becoming a nightmare for many folk who have to deal with the very real threat of boarding a vehicle containing armed robbers who often pose as passengers. On NTA's News Line program, I watched a woman narrate a sinister tale about how she narrowly escaped death after boarding a taxi that concealed a man who ferociously attacked her with a large knife. Not all taxi's are harbingers of death however, you just have to be alert and careful of the type of cab you enter. Better safe than sorry! Navigating Filthy Roads Imagine stepping in a puddle of mud that turns out to be human excreta or passing through a narrow filthy path, filled with an overpowering stench of urine. Well you don't have to imagine, as these sorts of experiences are common place for the Abuja Pedestrian. Abuja has many winding paths and little known streets adjacent to popular roads. These pathways are the life blood of the pedestrian city map. Sometimes in order to shorten their trajectory home, commuters often look for short cuts which might take them through private property. If you choose to take this route be ready for some nasty or comical experiences with homeowners who don't appreciate you trespassing on their property. Bus Stop Pick Pockets Rush hours at busy bus stops can be apocalyptic to say the least. In the mad rush you may find one or two pick pockets who pose as commuters pretending to be in a rush while their real aim is to dip their skillful fingers into your pocket or handbag to help themselves to your personal belongings. A friend of mine recently complained about how his wallet containing his drivers license and ATM card was stolen along with a significant amount of cash. Be aware of your personal items whenever you're in a crowd. You really don't want to be the next lucky dip! http://www.abujafood.com/news-digest/bite/1226-words-of-advice-for-the-abuja-pedestrian.html |
Thanks so far! Actually I'm merely disregarding my instincts which tells me to leave this girl alone and move on. I'm naturally a proud person so taking me for granted especially by ignoring me will really annoy me and I'll avoid you completely. But with this girl it's different she won't out rightly say no but is acting like she's not interested even when i asked her to bear her mind that I'll respect whatever she tells me. |
yuzedo: [b]Wait! What is the issue here? A human being in a desperate bid for survival took the only course she thought (correctly or not) would help her situation, a valid and understandable one at that, and people are here taking pride in the circumstance and location of their birth and asking why she didn't go elsewhere? LOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!Don't mind them if they read the part where it was boldly stated that an official of the Human Rights Commission in Delta state advised her to come to Lagos they'll understand that she had actually sought help in Delta State before coming to Lagos. |
I've heard it said before that a lady should flirt with a guy to indicate interest but tease him to make him chase her. That might explain a few games girls play with guys when they're been asked out. My case I've been asking this girl out for a while, she'll encourage me to hit on her but go suddenly cold when I make a move sometimes switching her phone off for weeks. The last time she tried this about 2 weeks ago I just made up my mind never to call her. I noticed she doesn't really care whether or not I call but whenever I call her she's receptive until I start making my moves again then the whole process repeats itself. Is she leading me on i.e pretending to like me when she doesn't or is this playing hard to get? Your thoughts will be appreciated! |
These 5 Abuja hotels are among the best hotels in Abuja you’ll likely find judging by their level of service delivery in comparison to many other Abuja Hotels. If you’re on a visit to Abuja and would like to lodge at any hotel we’ll suggest these 5 for a start although there are several others that are worth looking into. A standard hotel should have swimming pool, nice bar, casino, standard restaurants and efficient services. These hotels meet up with these standards. Transcorp Hilton Hotel (Maitama District) The most prestigious hotel in Abuja and one of the best in Nigeria as well, the Transcorp Hilton has come to stay. The former Nicon Nuga Hilton Hotel has undergone various name changes as different investors acquired it over time but it still remains the hotel of choice as it has always been. If there’s anything you don’t find at Transcorp you’re not likely to find it in any other hotel. Sheraton Hotels and Towers (Wuse District, Zone 4) By our reckoning, this is the 2nd best Hotel in Abuja. It has everything you’ll expect in a 5 star hotel however it is expensive and a bit overrated for the value of service you get in comparison with the price. However the hotel is the choice of many visitors to Abuja because it too is centrally located but also very secure and of international standard. NICON luxury Hotels (Garki District, Area 11) If anyone said luxury in the name of this hotel is a misnomer that person would be right as the hotel is very expensive and doesn’t live up to its name in terms of luxury but that doesn’t mean customer service or overall service delivery is poor. The staff is professional and there’s everything you want as a guest in this hotel. Chelsea Hotel (Garki District, Area 11 and Wuse 2) Although not in the same league as Sheraton Hotel and Transcorp Hilton it however is a top class Abuja Hotel. It has a small car park just able to hold less than 100 cars and small halls for holding events. But it’s centrally located within the city center and is expensive but not as expensive as the top 2. Agura Hotels (Garki District, Area 10) This is one of the oldest hotels in Abuja but also one of the best in terms of available facilities on ground. The hotel has a huge car parking space with spacious rooms added to the fact that it is centrally located in Area 10 close to Army and Air force headquarters in Abuja, it is ideal for guests who want to be close to the city center. From the rooms you can have a direct view of the capital city and the daily hustle and bustle. http://abuja-city..com/2013/05/top-5-abuja-hotels-you-must-know.html |
