Awa incoming Minister of Transport in Iragbiji Nation ![]() |
bukatyne:My sister ![]() |
The media has abandoned this family... It is well. |
tony0806:No juju. Those who are capable of leading any protest in Lagos right now have chosen siddon look after their experience with EndSARS. If everybody wants to die in silence because they don't want to offend their Fulani President and their presidential candidate, let them die. |
XAUBulls:https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thenicheng.com/gbajabiamila-converted-to-islam-to-become-speaker-says-femi-fani-kayode/amp/ Gbajabiamila was an elder in Church. True or false? How does coming from a Muslim family change anything? His mother is a strong Muslim, so what? Is Tinubu's wife not a pastor? Does it change the fact? How does knowing his family in Lagos change anything? When you're done reading, come back to delete this trash. If you have issues with my post, take it to Fani Kayode and the several platforms that reported the news. You called me a bigot, very funny, lol. But look at you gallivanting because you want to defend a crook from Surulere?? Or do you want me to report his other attrocities in the U.S? Behave yourself. I'm not emotionally attached to any tribe and there's nothing you or anyone can do about it ![]() |
Lame excuse to deceive the masses. Unwrap the entire cash and watch it vanish in 1 hour... So what happens next? |
This is massive |
“Some banks are inefficient and only concerned about themselves, even if a year is added, problems associated with selfishness and greed won’t go away,” he said.Buhari's economic principles are based on morals. This man should be the chief head of a qur'anic school or something. People will always take advantage of such situations whether it is Nigeria or Canada. You should be sound enough to anticipate greed and put measures in place to curb the act of greed. The new notes should have been allowed to circulate for at least a month before phasing out the old notes. You can't do both at the same time. It will NEVER work without hassles in any part of the world. However, those who made him the president and Minister of Petroleum should be kind enough to allow him finish his tenure in peace. We don't want any form of violence especially from those who opposed EndSars. Hell Rufai and his colleagues can wail forever, many of us will not protest anything. |
You said in 2015 that you would rather elect Buhari with his NEPA bill certificate over a president who is more capable and healthier. After 8 years, you're back to where you started, trying once more to elect a man in coma over the living in your broke, cash-less, and fuel-less state. Don't you see that the devil now controls your destiny? Wait, do you think "you're doing" Peter Obi?? ![]() |
lexy2014:No.. Nobody stopped me....why? you are asking "Why is no one talking about the CBN's digital currency by the way?" who stopped you from talking about it?Nobody stopped me....why? obviously, you are as ill prepared as everyone else on the issue.Yes, I am as ill prepared and tactless about the cashless economy as everyone else. Only a few individuals with vision have so far tapped into the cashless policy that predates most Gen Zs today... An example, the founders of "Touch and Pay." They are Nigerians, not aliens. you said "The CBN or government won't do it alone". did anybody send CBN or government message to start cashless policy?Did anyone send bandits to kidnap catholic bishops, priests, and other citizens for N100 million cash?? how will our market women use the newly Created digital money? How do market women use WhatsApp and Facebook? How are they able to share "fake news" across different WhatsApp groups? I have reasonably answered your questions to the best of my ability. And I hope you understand that "cashless policy" does not mean "zero cash." So when you fight cashless policy, I really wonder what you are on about.... The direct opposite of cashless policy should be money laundering. |
Ishilove:Junior waec.. Kai 🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
Ezeama400:Hon Gbajabiamila was a solid Christian few years ago. A strong member of House on the Rock. He switched to Islam to become the house of rep speaker on Tinubu's instruction and advice. He's still a Muslim till date to sustain his relevance in politics. I don't support the threats though. We should be ready to accept the outcome of the elections and, of course, the consequences. |
Misterone:Atiku is of sane mind at least...so when things go wrong, we know who to hold to account. He won't and can't win though. |
lexy2014:One of the reasons I emphasised my disappointment in existing Fintech companies. I don't expect every tom, dick, and harry to invest their monies or monies they don't have in the first place. And yet, I am as culpable as others But the reality must be said whether we like it or not. Most of our Fintechs only want to raise money, proliferate the system with loan apps, and sponsor BeeBeeHen (BBN) after copying existing business models... The idea of always using market women as excuse is unreasonable and shallow. Do you use the BRT more than the average market woman out there? They already know the value of contactless payment channels since the Lagos BRT system stopped cash payments in 2021. Go to Yaba station and see market women and grannies using contactless cards. Who told you they don't want better life and ease? People wey love WhatsApp and Facebook die, including the not so literate. Like I mentioned on another thread, if we continue to hide under the voices of "market women," we will go nowhere. When Saraki introduced ATMs in the late 1980s, people used the same market women lies to resist the idea. |
SadiqBabaSani:Wrong time to oppress people with uniforms. |
pocohantas:Decisions made after a steamy and hot sex always come with consequences. I guess he has to live with this consequence for a while. ![]() |
Pickmycall:When Bukola Saraki introduced Nigeria's first ATM in Lagos in the late 1980's, we had more issues. The service was chaotic but the situation improved over time. So yeah, there's room for continuous improvement. |
As long as you have mouth to talk and ask questions, there will be no issues. |
erico2k2:I have more than 20k of the new notes. My point is that it is not impossible to have the new notes. Those who used the ATMs few days after the CBN released the notes to banks got it easily. If I wanted 100k that week with multiple cards, I would have gotten even more easily... So this propaganda from a frustrated terrorist means nothing. |
sinero:Lol.. You're dum.b for trying to bring Tinubu into the picture. We are talking about Cowri cards here not buses. Go and read the history of the company behind Cowri cards first and come back to apologise. When Tinubu was governor, the founder of Cowri cards was still in Day Care, playing with toys. |
Misterone:There's nothing to see here. Having wads of N200 notes means nothing. 100 pieces of N200 notes is 20k. The fact that a terrorist had to do a video to display 20k is a sign of frustration and propaganda. These guys control bags of N100 million paid as ransom just few months ago.. |
temielects:You can see that they are frustrated ![]() |
Mere propaganda. What this means is that Nigeria is on the right track. |
sinero:No economy can go 100% cashless but the era of withdrawing N100 million cash for bandits and kidnappers is over. While I do acknowledge the level of hardship, I'm not moved by the expressions of politicians coming out in January and February 2023 to say that Nigerians are suffering. Again, I do not support the hardship Nigerians are going through but I'm too aware to know that the level of suffering did not start in January 2023. But I fully support the idea is of withdrawal limits (20k per day) as against the 100k and unlimited withdrawals) |
Tinubuwins2023e:This is mad.ess. Former Gov. Ambode introduced Cowri cards in Lagos. |
yomi007k:It's about time our innovators come up with something. The cash thing isn't even healthy in the first place....one of the major causes of enteric diseases. Some traders are already conforming to the tech order. For two years now, BRTs in Lagos have stopped collecting cash. No Cowri card, no transit. And many of these traders use BRT. |
professorPABX:Of course, the government has its own challenges. I believe the government has failed woefully and deserves to be voted out permanently. Are those traders wrong for calling Tinubu's name? Is Tinubu not the major stakeholder of APC? Was he not boasting a few months ago in Abeokuta on how he installed Buhari? While I understand your concerns and the need to blame government policies and ineptitude, remember that policies have been in existence for a while. So I don't expect Tech people to start running around, making stuff in 2023. What are they doing differently apart from copying existing business models? Are we going to blame the government for failed transactions? In the midst of the frustration, these people are still deducting card maintenance charges. By December, they will start declaring billions of profits...but at what cost..and to what end? |
emmaodet:😂😂😂 |
Pickmycall:But Nigeria is ripe for ATM, yeah? Why are you using ATM in a country without electricity? |
Pickmycall:Nigeria is ready for a cashless policy but Nigerians aren't. Many people are simply not innovative in this part of the world. Try and read the history of agent banking in Nigeria. This same CBN introduced the idea of agent banking (POS) to Nigeria during Jonathan's era. Of course, people lamented about charges, electricity, payment security, network, bla bla, but we all are witness to the opportunities around us today. A Nigerian man had to travel to China to study how that the POS thing works, made massive import of POS machines to Naija and became the pioneer of what has become a mainstay today. The man became a billionaire by the way. Nobody is looking at creating anything in this country. 10 years after we started importing POS, Nigerians are still importing till tomorrow. Nobody wants to create anything...only waiting for the new idea to steal whilst hiding behind suit and tie. The so called FINTECHS just want to raise funds and nothing else. I'm honestly disappointed that no Fintech is making any reasonable effort to tap into the current crisis. This is the time to employ massively, deploy agents to the markets, and ensure everyone in our markets have access to seamless payment channels without hassles. The CBN or government won't do it alone! Like I said, if that man had not invested his money, the POS we all know today would NEVER have existed. The CBN agent banking policy would have died like every other... Nigerians need to wake up... especially our so called tech people. Create digital money or develop something around CBN's digital currency and sell it to our market women. We all must wake up! Change is sacrosanct. Why is no one talking about the CBN's digital currency by the way? Mimic the new note on a digital platform and people will gladly use it. |
Omo this country sha. GTB frustrated my life today. Most of our tech bros na just hype and Insha Allah. UBA app is not worth talking about sef. |
He is insa.ne., and that is the fact. If you've ever met an elderly person suffering from dementia, you'll understand his predicament. Tinubu's biggest voting bloc right now are condemned riff raffs and dunderheads with no ambition whatsoever. It is easier to cash out 200k from ATM than find a medical doctor campaigning for BAT. Educated men and women can see than Tinubu has lost both his mind and senses. |
