We can now properly situate the Obidient movement into two groups. The first group is made up of Igbo folks who are simply riding on the discontent of young people with the situation of things in the country to push for an Igbo man (Peter Obi) as president irrespective of his solid record of failure as a governor.

The second group is made up of young, naive, ignorant, idealistic and deluded folks from other ethnic groups who think there is truly a messiah out there with a magic wand to turn Nigeria to America under a year.

The first group don’t really care about competence or a better Nigeria, they just want their ethic lord as president. To them, Peter Obi is the Voldemort who can never be wrong and must never be questioned even by his own supporters. Now that obvious gaps are appearing in the decisions of Peter Obi which calls his real intention and competence to question, the deluded second group want to start asking critical questions but the first group are saying no. Don’t ask questions or else, we drag you wotowoto despite the fact that they are on the same side.

Like others, you only support him because of his ethnicity, the stipends you hope to receive at the detriment of the nation, and the fact that he formerly served as governor of Nigeria's richest state - a state where he stole from, funded his private planes, and where he remains the worst governor in history after Sanwo-Olu.

They are funny. Fashola built Ikeja City Mall (ICM) for $100 million. That is N43 Billion (at N435/$1).

Just imagine the criminality these people endure in Lagos. This is something they built when the economy was much better than what we have now.

If I have some time, I will create a thread comparing both projects on the basis of size, costs, etc. If only they know the atrocities of "that" criminal element from Lagos, nobody will be mentioning his name at all as far as aso rock is concerned.

He's very good. That guy "destroyed," re-built and modelled Abuja after Washington DC. The funny thing is that he is not stealing his successors' efforts (he has more than enough to brag with both in Abuja and KD). ..Unlike some people who claimed they have a blueprint of Lagos that no one else has seen.

These ones will just be running to the media every four market days, looking for blind investors that will give them 30 billion chopping money. Contactless card is not new. Ambode introduced this in Lagos for all BRTs.

In what way did Tinubu contributed to their success in Lagos? People have been living and prospering in this Lagos before Tinubu left Osun state.

Life in Lagos was even better in the '70s and '80s. Go and ask your parents and uncles. Large multinational companies, banks, etc. were everywhere. Banks like UBA and Union Bank were everywhere in Lagos before Tinubu was born.

Someone cleared the way for the multinational company Tinubu worked for in Lagos in the 1970s. To think that Tinubu made Lagos is absurd. Tinubu was a nobody like those "artistes" before Lagosians gave him a room in Alausa to steal and devour their taxes.

I don't think that japa has anything to do with his death. The system is bad. Before those doctors japa, what was the situation in Nigerian hospitals? Better?

If you bring the best doctors in the world to operate in Nigeria, the system will corrupt them. It is a systemic problem and has nothing to do with Japa. It is system that makes people sit up and take their work seriously.

Maybe I'm the only one here with a different opinion. Nothing will come out of this investigation. The video thing started right from the scene of the accident. Passerby and those attempting to assist (his team) began filming right after the accident.

At the hospital, the recording didn't stop. I am 1000% sure that the video thing wasn't done by the hospital staff. His relatives/management/friends did that.

The investigation is very necessary, but as far as that video is concerned, the nurses were not involved. It was another nurse (a senior nurse perhaps) who walked in and cautioned whoever was behind the video. I feel the "senior nurse" is a more dedicated staff. While the two nurses appeared clueless, it didn't seem like they left him to die.

It's sad Rico had to go this way, but the cluelessness started right from the accident scene. The sad thing is that, as at the time this video was taken, his left hand was still moving, slightly.

If Kanu decides to go low, his release will work in Obi's favour. But if the opposite happens, then good luck to Atiku.

Some people are really underestimating the way this muslim-muslim ticket will backfire I just dey look una.

While Tinubu will win in Kwara, don't overestimate his chances. Lai Muhammed and the current governor do not seem to be on the same page. Besides, the hunger in the land has heightened and Saraki may just be back to convince his people.

The only region Tinubu can win without massive rigging and vote buying is the southwest.

Plateau: While Obi can't win the north central region, he might win one or two states (e.g. Plateau).

Kwara: Tinubu will win Kwara because of his muslim-muslim ticket although with a little margin. No other reason.

Kogi: Bello will rig massively in Kogi as always and there would be a lot of intimidation from his brothers (especially those boko-haram-like terrorists in Kogi central).

Faleke is also well respected in Kogi west so he might boost Tinubu's chances but the past and current legislators from that zone are strong PDP addicts (e.g., Dino). My parents reside here and they are voting Obi, so yeah, Obi has a chance here. Besides, the strong Christians in this region can never vote APC under any circumstance.

Kogi East, largest zone in Kogi, belongs to PDP and maybe some share of the votes for Obi. Igalas and Igbos are like 5&6 in some parts of the region.

Benue: This is largely between PDP and Labour party. What is Tinubu's going to tell them about Fulani herdsmen? Will he say that Buhari failed?

Abuja: APC has never won Abuja. Even Buhari lost Aso rock polling unit to Atiku in 2019.
