If indeed they opened a dorm account for you, then you have a dorm account. They may only need you to validate the account.

The money wasn’t sent to yur Naira account. Dollars can not be sent to your Naira account. What you did was cash pickup- World Remit most likely.

yes I could access the funds through my mobile app, but the first time I went to de bank to withdraw the actually validated the account b4 I could withdraw that is adding a photo and signature to de account but no charges at all.

If he/she already had a current account, that is all the validation they need. A dorm account can easily be created from a current account. Except that wasn’t the case.

You had same experience of someone sending Dollar to your Naira account with GTB?

My dollar account under Access bank was opened for free. Someone sent me dollar straight to my naira account and bank automatically opened a dollar account for me I think 1 dollar was deducted from from the funds dat was all.
