I personally have yet to abandon all the shame I was raised with were body image is concerned. But a couple of years ago, I went on a naked bike ride here in Chicago with a hundred other nude individuals and that helped me mentally disconnect some from that bad upbringing that attached shame to the body. But I continue to work on it and when I finally do, maybe then.
