DaRuud:So, controlling businesses is not work? Nawao... |
UyaiIncomparabl:You know any married woman in that category? Many are out of job because of the situation of the country. The few "housewives" I have met, they are either looking for a job or trying to figure out a business. |
optionalY09:You will defend anything. The money EU gave to Nigeria to conduct elections didn't even get to you. Ordinary voter card, you no fit collect, yet you are here defending the same people who siphoned EU money and still run to EU countries to recharge their organs, leaving you behind to grapple with the harsh realities of hell. |
DaddyCoool:International pressure don dey. You don't want to imagine what the EU report has done to them. |
You better shut the fvck, oga! |
The traditional notion of housewife doesn't exist anymore. All the so called "house wives" now own different small and micro businesses, thanks to globalisation, WhatsApp business, IG, remote work, etc. Of course, many of them spend more time at home with their family (abi where else should they be? Sambisa?). The conceptualisation of "housewives" as people who sit at home and do nothing else apart from cooking or laundry only exists in you people's heads. In reality, they don't exist. So you people should quit the intentional and "every 4 market day" derogatory threads. |
As long as Pastor Mrs desires the idea... |
I'm struggling to understand your definition of "recovery." How do you recover a fund you willingly spend on your wedding? Recovering from who? Look, if you spend 3m, for example, on your wedding, and you somehow managed to make 3m some months after your wedding through businesses, contracts, or side hustle, you still haven't recovered anything. The 3 million wedding expense is gone and gone for good. However, if your definition of recovery includes the gifts, donations, money from aso ebi, etc., well... I wish you well on your recovery process ![]() |
If Tinubu increases minimum wage to N100,000 today, a dollar will exchange for N5000 before the end of September. Oga Primate should focus on his calling. The government may have shown signs of failure, but economic discussions aren't for everybody. |
Some women typically want a generous man until the man decides to show his generosity to everyone and everybody. Generosity is not selfish. You can't pray for a generous man that will spend on you alone. Generosity entails giving all to his extended family and relatives, parents, friends, the needy etc., even at the expense of your "not so necessary" hedonic needs. That's the full definition of generosity. Some women only tend to call men "stingy" when the man refuses to meet their needs. A man you consider as stingy for some flimsy reasons may actually be generous. When people tag others "stingy", be careful and slow to judge. That man you consider to be generous because he gives you money may be starving his aged parents in the village. Such a man is not generous, but stup!d and you're enabling that stup!dity. |
GreenDee:God will answer your prayers. 🙏 |
Of course, they can't arrest Buhari for illegal gun possession. And they obviously can't charge Emefiele to court for corruption or money laundering because of the calibre of people involved Who would have thought that illegal gun possession is the reason Tinubu's men were screaming and shouting a few months ago? I think say na Naira scarcity, new note minting, and corruption?? They obviously don't want Emefiele singing and screaming their names in court. You see this country ehn? ![]() |
Exjoker:If you dig Google and Google scholar databases, you will find some studies that proved the carcinogenicity of chlorine, used for water purification. Pure water and bottle water companies use Chlorine. Bore hole drilling companies use it too because everyone says it is safe and effective. Na God dey save person. |
A fantastically corrupt country with some of the most tolerant people on earth. Such a bad combination. |
.. |
NamelessOGBENI:You mean clean water? |
CuriousStudent:Can we still call it "sex education" when the idea of "sex" is clearly missing? Based on that literal meaning, I clearly won't be engaging my kids in any sex education. I am teaching abstinence from sex, hygiene, awareness of abuse and harassment, and nothing more. |
What is the purpose of sex education though? |
gidgiddy:Then try form a movement against the U.S. na.. You are basically saying that Nigerians should fold their arms and do nothing because the guy terrorizing an entire region lives in Finland? |
gidgiddy:Why don't you form a terrorist movement from Nigeria against Texas in the U.S. Let's see whether you will spend another 3 months in Nigeria. Una no dey ever get sense. |
Na bank sure pass oo.. And when you use the bank, make sure you withdraw sufficient cash.... That's how to boycott all these small small charges. |
Who told you the 8k will get to you sef? Like any other poverty alleviation and palliative plans, majority won't get it. No serious government embraces a palliative money-sharing economic principle in the midst of abject poverty. E come be like say the Nigerian government dey share aids to citizens when we are not in a war situation. ![]() |
Purvan:What do you mean "her skills and expertise are being wasted"? How is she wasting her skills if she has been actively teaching since 2004? Ph.D. is not a skill. The racial discrimination thing seems like an excuse you made up in your mind. Not many companies need a Ph.D. holder. |
The worst is yet to be seen. Those who would typically oppose a bad system in Lagos are now mute due to election trauma. Anti-APC people in Lagos would rather watch the city burn than complain. Shebi na bad roads?? They can manage after all, Anambra roads are in deplorable states. And yeah, anyone who opposes APC policies is from Anambra ![]() |
All lies, propaganda, and "stereotypes" Garri has the same effect as akpu/fufu. If 10 wraps of akpu have not destroyed your eyes, a 50kg bag of garri wouldn't. |
Funny country. How do you expect the average jobless Nigerian guy to abandon fraud after seeing the likes of James Ibori in Aso Rock What message are you trying to pass to the youths? |
folake4u:I know right ![]() |
![]() TakeNigeriaBack:How do you honor Sango and Ogun? |
TakeNigeriaBack:So what is Isese? Why does the term "idolatry" bother you? Are you not proud of your chosen form of worship? Or how would you describe a gathering of educated men and women revering new yam, clay, or palm oil? |
tundein18:Every religion forbids idolatry. To traditionalists, Christianity is alien (idolatry). Every religion forbids hypocrisy. That's the essence of the point. So if you want to do idol, do it with your full chest. No dey use Sunday service cover eye. |
folake4u:🤣🤣🤣 |
