Billyonaire: Last days ? As per the issue of end of times or last days, I wanna ask; Which world is ending ? Planet Earth ? The milky way galaxy ? The Andromeda Galaxy ? The Universe ? Which ?
About being saved: I am already saved, I do not need a Jesus Christ to be saved. Apparently you people still believe that Jesus is the only way to God, for me, Jesus is a pathway to God, and I crossed that pathway already. Jesus, I know.
I am the truth, the way and the light. No one comes to my father, except through me ~ Jesus Christ
Christianity EtcRe: Pastor-Chris Erects Massive Billboard Of Professions by ACM10: 12:15pm On Aug 24, 2012
Billyonaire: Let me be frank. The teachings of Pastor Chris Oyhakilome has impacted more enlightenment in many, than the teachings of Jesus Christ. His Teachings are for these times while teachings of Jesus were meant for people of his times. I am not religious, but I love motivational speeches.

HealthRe: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by ACM10: 4:55pm On Aug 23, 2012
wesley80: Hi Docs, pls I need some very urgent medical advice. My fiancees mum was diagnosed with stage 3 CA of the cervix early this year and was refered to UI teaching hospital from the states teaching hospital to undergo radiotherapy. Fortunately, my Fiancees dad is a Shell retiree so their health matters are managed by Hygeia HMO. On that ground She was taken to Lagoon Hospital were she was further referred to Eko Hospital at their own expense to undergo radiotherapy which lasted for over a month and She was subsequently discharged. She returned in 2wks and was handed a Chemotherapy regiment that She was supposed to undergo at Lagoon Hospital but was told to travel back to her state and give same to her original doctors at a "private hospital".
Now back, she sought treatment at the private hospital but her Doc said they didn't have the capacity for such treatment as it was supposed to be done back in Lagos, so I drove them down to the local Hygeia office where a doctor manning the office said he could "arrange" the treatment locally along with the proprietor of the private hospital. Apparently they r getting someone from outside town to oversee the process. The course of treatment expected to last abt 6wks begins in a few days but I'm not comfortable. The Dr. at the local Hygeia office gave the impression that chemotherapy sessions aren't a big deal when I queried the level of expertise available saying he was only trying to reduce the strain of travelling back to Lagos on the patient but I've been hearing otherwise.
My question is, are these guys just looking for some short cut in order to spend less or should I relax as there's really not much to worry? Should we accept a chemotherapy session to be conducted in a private hospital that failed to diagnose the ailment till it got to stage 3A(The diagnosis was done at the states teaching hospital on referral from the private hospital) or should we insist on treatment at the Lagoon hospital?
I'll consider your advice invaluable.
Wesley80, you can only blame the doctor at the private hospital partly since they lack the facilities to conduct "pap smear" which would have detected cervical cancer earlier. Though I have every reason to accuse the doctor of incompetence for failing to identify the tell-tale signs of cervical cancer. Had he acted with little competence, this issue would not have gotten to this stage. However, that does not mean that he might not be able to handle chemotherapy session. So you should stick with him. Don't waste your money running about. The treatment at this stage is palliation.
Pls don't blame the doctor at the private hospital for any eventuality. This blame lies squarely with u, your fiance and the patient. Every women are advised to go for "pap smear" every two years from the age of 40. Had she stuck to this routine, you wouldn't have come here to lay your complaint. Let this serve as a lesson to your fiancee and other family members. All the best bro! Be strong.

CelebritiesRe: Prezzo Wants To Marry Goldie by ACM10: 6:25am On Aug 23, 2012
Earlier today, we informed you that Big
Brother Star Game first runner up was in
town, and would hold a parley where
pundits and everyone in general could ask
him questions. The conference took place
by 12pm at The Place on Isaac John street,
Ikeja.
According to the Rapper real name Jason
Makini, who tried to correct the popular
opinion of many that he used Goldie in the
house, he stated during the parley that he
would indeed marry Goldie and walk down
the isle soon. Below are excerpts from the
conference:

You and Goldie had something together but
the relationship was off and on. After she
was evicted from Big Brother House, you
said she used you.

Prezzo: To be honest, when I left my
country for Big Brother Africa in South
Africa. I went to the house as an individual.
I developed feelings for Goldie and the
different thing there was that you have
cameras around you and you don’t know if
you are playing games. I have not spoken
to Goldie after the show. I came here for
Goldie.

During a press conference held for Goldie
she mentioned she loved you. How can you
convince your love for her?

Prezzo: In all honesty, I cared about her and
she cared about me. In that house, you
don’t know what to
expect. With God on my side I pray
everything works out well.

Are you divorced?

Prezzo: I was married before and now we
are seperated but I have a baby girl with
her and that is not the end of the world. My
baby mama has the divorce papers with her
and it is in process. We don’t live together
for the past 3 years and my wife knows our
relationship cannot work. There is no
relationship between the both of us any
more.

You said you came to Nigeria for Goldie. Will
you marry her?

Prezzo: Yes I will marry her. You will get the
invitation soon.

What attracted you to Goldie?

Prezzo: The Prezzo in Big Brother Africa
House was a paranoid Prezzo. The attraction
was nature taking its cause. We found
ourselves mostly together all the time. I will
tell Goldie I’ve been thinking about her since
I left the house. Emotions started building
up when we were in the house. You can’t
control your emotions.

Why do you make your private life public?
Prezzo: I and Goldie are not private. The
whole of Africa knows I and Goldie already
so it is not private.

Tell us about your role with ONE Campaign.

Prezzo: It is a very interesting movement
and they want us to sell Africa to the world.
I am fortunate enough to work with ONE
campaign. I don’t know other places in
Africa where there is malnutrition. My first
mission is to share some light in my
country, for lack of food and East Africa as a
whole. Music is important to Kenya.

What is your status in the Kenyan Music
Scene?

Prezzo: Prezzo as an artiste is a household
name in Kenyan. I didn’t apply for Big
Brother Africa show. A lady called me from
Endemol and she said she wanted me to be
a contestant on the show.

Is Prezzo brand an attention brand?

Prezzo: I look out for success and not
attention. As a celebrity out there you
expose your self and attention focuses on
you.

Are you here just for Goldie or you want to
build your fan base?

Prezzo: My mission here is to look for
Goldie. The time for looking out for fan base
will come.

How far are you willing to do to get Goldie
back?

Prezzo: I travelled from East Africa to West
Africa and that is just the beginning. The Big
Brother House will bring the worst of you
and the best of you. For everyone who felt
offended I am truly sorry, I am not that kind
of person. Its just a game of strategy. The
BBA House is nothing but a game.
Hmmm… We are waiting for the wedding

Nigeria withdraws

LAGOS - Nigeria's police will withdraw
their entire contingent of 120 officers
serving on a United Nations peacekeeping

allegations, a spokesperson said.
"We are withdrawing the entire contingent

"The deputy inspector general of police in

oyb: i remember in 2007 when some policebiatch wanted to arrest me for carrying a laptop. the animal took me to the station and brought a statement for me to sign - thank God for the fact that i work in a company with a former policeman as a security officer - who know what would have happened?

i remember a new years eve when police arrested my 12 year old cousin for selling banger. we went to the station and found the station was full of people they ad picked up to make money for new years. everybody had to pay to bail out their relatives.

i remember just last week, some hoodlums were disturbing me in traffic, and less than 10 metres away, police were harrasing motorists

there are so many horror stories about the illiterate unbalanced madmen who our govt has handed ak47s to

and some empty headed 'pan africanists' would lie to themselves because they have a need to beat empty barrels.
grin
In 2005, Policemen stopped and searched everyone in the bus we are travelling with just because our driver refused to pay N40 toll fee(Roger). In the process, they confiscated my mobile phone and that of two other passengers, demanding that we should produce their receipts. They forced all of us to stay there for 1hr. Later, they demanded for N1500 bribe. It took the intervention of a well-connected passerby before they could release us to continue our journey.
These are the men that South Sudan are begging to train their virgin force. God forbid!
