D sage: I doubt you can produce a quality id card with €1.Ofcourse I can! Remember that it is produced in huge quantity. Therefore its cost will be slashed down considerably. The larger the quantity, the cheaper the cost per card. By the way, I reproduced my school id card around the same time at a retail price of N150. How much is the exchange rate of €/#? It can be done! I promise you that if you ship this job to China, they will mass produce these id cards at a cost of €0.20/card. |
mrkels: so you would do your own 1M per card?€70m for 70 million id cards = €1/card. Use your calculator if the calculation is too tough for you. |
D sage: Its €170m contract and not 70m euro.Yes, if I'm to be given €70m budget, I will produce a national identity card that trumps the one they issued to us in terms of quality. I don't need an inflated budget of €170m to do the job |
Hmm, na wa o. I swear that I can produce 70 million identity cards which are far superior in quality to the ones issued to us with a budget of €70m. That fine imposed on them is not tough enough. This is more like scratching a bank robber at the back. Westerners are not helping the common masses in Nigeria to fight corruption. It's a pity. |
Ofcourse nw. I be archival |
jidebobo: After having the 1st child as @ 2006 till now no pregnancy, the couple have gone for test and it was discover that something fluid formed in falopian tubes of the woman. It may be possible that hysterosalpingography revealed that the fallopian tube(s) is not patent. The options for treatment should be discussed with your gynaecologist. Some of them includes microsurgery on the fallopian tube and in-vitro fertlization(IVF). Both options might circumvent infertility and enable you to conceive. |
jidebobo: @doctor in house pls is there any way to unblock falopian tubes . ThanksIf I may ask, how do you know that the fallopian tube in question is blocked? |
agiboma: ^^^^ what she said vbac is very common if the birth of the last child is at least 18 months, most dr prefer it to be 2 years to be safe. One thing you also have to keep in mind is the type of csection you had. With my csection i have 2 cuts in the shape of an upside down letter "t" so i have been told i can never deliver vaginally, but this cut is an exception and not usually done, if you had this cut your dr would have told you so you know how to preceed in future prgnancies. For me with this pregnancy i will have a planned csection @ 37 weeks agiboma: They are just acting childish because i called them immature in the family section see behaviour they have brought over to the health section. Anyways I dont know the medical name of the procedure, but i do know once you get this type of cut you cannot give birth naturally ever. Its in the shape of an upside down letter "T". If i where you blank i would go back to the original DR that did your section and ask him if its safe to give birth naturally. Also how old is your baby. Is her under 18 months, because irregardless of teh csection you should not give birth naturally if you have a child 18 months or younger @ home. Take care and safe delivery. There are two methods of incision for caesarean section(C/S). We have lower segment incision and classical incision. I think that you've just described the classical incision of C/S. It is frought with a lot of dangers with regards to subsequent pregnancies and deliveries. It has been largely abandoned by surgeons except if there is specific indication for it. There can be risk of uterine/womb rupture during subsequent deliveries. Therefore pregnant mothers with a history of previous classical section C/S are strongly advised not to deliver vaginally. All their subsequent deliveries must be through C/S. The preferred method of C/S delivery now is through the lower segment incision. A horizontal incision is made on the lower segment of the womb to deliver the baby. This incision heals fast and there is a minimal scar tissue formation which can predispose to uterine rupture in subsequent pregnancies. |
twinskenny: HELLO DOC,There are different family planning methods available. Some are temporary(reversible), while others are permanent(irreversible). You can visit any teaching hospital near you with your partner and ask for the family planning center. The doctor u meets will explain to you all the modalities available, for you to make an informed choice. All the best. |
phymo1: Hello Doc, please my dad (58 yrs) his current having challenges after a stroke related illness, now he forget things easily n refer back to events of 20-30 years as if it relevant now, am not comfortable with it as sometimes he misses his way home within the neighborhood which will warrant us looking for him, please how do i stop this , i don't know if it is insomnia related but your advice is so relevant . thanks. (phamooguns@yahoo.com).Your dad is having a medical sign called amnesia(partial or total memory loss) as against insomnia(inability to sleep). Though insomnia may also be an accompanying sign. Amnesia can be short term memory loss OR long term memory loss. The case of your dad is that of short term memory loss. He is unable to recall recent events. In amnesia, recent events are lost first before distant events. If he was unable to recall long term events, then his condition is severe. Memory loss in the case of your dad could be a sequelae of stroke or early-onset Alzheimer syndrome. You may have to take him to a neurologist to halt the trend with neuro-cognitive drugs and therapy. He may need a companion by his side all the time. Your mother can do the job or you can employ an elderly maid. The therapy to halt or reverse the memory loss takes time. It might last for life. Meanwhile, refer to my advice above you on how to prevent stroke from reoccuring. Cheers |

souleymon: Message from Nigeria's First Lady on her sick bed in Horst Schmidt Klinik in Wiesbaden, Germany. |
bodik: please i need advice on fast recovery for a 69yrs old patient of stroke. The stroke is over 1yr and he still walks with difficulty.there is no fast recovery in stroke patient. Stroke affects the brain. The brain is populated by neurones. While neurones are permanent cells. Permanent cells don't regrow like skin cells. Therefore whenever it is damaged, it cannot be replaced. I will advise you to seek for the services of a visiting physiotherapist. A neurologist will also help. Be informed that stroke tends to reoccur. So his blood pressure must be strictly controlled with medications. Any rise in blood pressure above the normal range will predispose him/her to another stroke. So compliance to medication is the key. Diabetes should be controlled too. But the patient can only improve mostly with physiotherapy work-ups and exercises. He/she might not regain his/her pre-morbid strength. But the improvement will be considerable. WARNING: There is no shortcut to recovery. Recovery in stroke patient is slow. Anyone that promises u quick recovery after treatment is a conman. So ignored all those claims flying around. |
jidebobo: Just one pad with little flow.Having a history of previous C/S delivery in a 37yrs old mother makes it more likely that you will need the services of a gynaecologist. Fertility tend to decrease from that age. So your case cannot be solved by correspondence. It requires careful examinations and investigations handled by a competent hand. No need to while your time here. Visit your nearest teaching hospital. It's cheaper than private hospitals. Cheers |
adconline: Are u this dumb? undecidedNot everyone has the skill to read from the teleprompter and make it look natural. Romney has that problem during the primaries. That's why he is mostly off-script whenever he tries to immitate Obama. Therefore, gaffe-prone. But he later adjusted. Obama excels in this area. That's why he's often criticized for his heavy dependence on prepared speech read from teleprompter. |
airfinance: Hey look at you calling someone a dump. Seems you don't know what a convention is all about in the US. You actually think she read from teleprompter?the answer is No. You are still living in in otueke. OdeThis is serious. SMH Teleprompter is not an exercise book my dear. Do a simply google search on it. Don't be in a hurry to expose your ignorance. |
Princeojua: Fellow Nigerians! I felt i was the only one who had a horrible Story. Years back why i was still in Primary School,i had great dreams, vision and mostly i was much inspired by the Poor and heart-burning Environment i was brought up from. My Dad/Mum did their possibly best to see me overwhelmed the toughness of the School Walls. When i proceeded to the Worst Secondary School, believe me you. I was a terror to Pen and paper,i was seen as an Hero. I breakd many School Records, today i'm somuch Greatful to God for His Lovingkind Mercy. Thank you Nigerian's and Greatness remain our Priority. You are also a terror to our computer screens and our eyesights by extension. ![]() |
freecocoa: And someone would go to a market to buy undersized shoes for himself? ![]() Nwa-ada, kpachara anya gi o. Why u go dey fracture/wunjure my ribs like this? Well finally, he has retired the hand-me-down shoe. That's the happy part of the story. Nothing is as fulfilling as surpassing your dad's and grand-dad's legacy. Finally, he can provide designer's shoes for Sasha and Malia's sons. |
^Michelle is not on ballot o ![]() |
sexiestharam: I reserve my comment. Don't have time to argue with you. Think whatever you like, that's your business.Better |
freecocoa: I think Michelle would be in the best position to answer that, she was there remember? But Michelle labelled his shoe "undersized" not "hand-me-down" remember. ![]() |
jidebobo: Just one pad with little flow.Pls meet your gynaecologist. We might not have sufficient info about your condition to give you a sound medical advice. I believe that the gynaecologist will offer a superior advice based on the clinical scenario observed by him/her |
sexiestharam: My bad, I didn't know it was from a teleprompter. But didn't u read the remaining things I said? Guess u are the one who is dumb for it seems that's the only thing u could denote from all what I wrote! Can't u see that I'm only interested in the bolded part? Are you so impervious to correction? Pls don't disgrace yourself further. You ought to be ashamed for coming to public forum to display your lack of sophistication. |
jidebobo: Doctor good day sir,What do u mean by partial flow? Can u quantify it with the number of pads used in a day and how soaked are those pads? |
freecocoa: He had shoes but they were hand-me-downsAre u insinuating that Obama inherited shoe from his grandpa? ![]() |
davades:He has shoe. Just that his own was papa's shoe. ![]() |
sexiestharam: Her speech was so thought provoking. Couldn't believe I waited till 3:30 am to listen to it. Julian Castro who was the Keynote speaker also did a great job. I even preferred his speech to that of Michelle Obama. While watching the whole event, one thing was on my mind. When would nigeria get to this level? All the speakers at the DNC convention spoke without reading from already-made scripts. They spoke from their brains. I can't remember the last time I saw any politician in nigeria giving a speech without reading from a paper! Nigeria really has a long way to go. I also felt touched about that female soldier who was hit during war for her country. She lost two of her legsAre u this dumb? ![]() They were reading from teleprompter |
Breathtaking indeed! |
dammytosh: I guess somebody filled this formNa wa for u o ![]() Why burst some people's bubble so soon? I must say that when it comes to the issue of Tinubu and some Yoruba leaders(both past and present), some folks in the western part of the country thinks from their anus. I was just following this thread with amusement as some folks try to spin this news which can be easily ignored. Anyone that gets invited to the event is an American citizen. Moreover, invitees must arrange for the travel and accomodation logistics. Democratic Convention does not sponsor anyone. So what's the fuss? I'm amazed that the so-called NL intellectuals will compose a boring lengthy epistle on this topic. Well I'm not surprised! These are the sorts of response that you'll get from folk riddled with inferiority complex disease. Sorry for interrupting you guys. You can continue with your ego trip. |
yunafa: Seal, this is just the beginning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when correct fine naija babes like me full everywhere in this world even as supermodels, bankers. economists. humanitarians, international designers, musicians, artists, politicians, academicians etc,etc,etc...you still decided to follow bonga fish with ugly nose. lips . u must be silly to have even thot of begging her to come back to you.But |
