Time to put your big girl panties on and deal with this. You had many chances to back out of this before you got married so why didn't you? Your husby may not be educated but he's got your number. You had several suitors and you chose him. Now you must live with it.

You are a woman. Do you not know how much power you wield in your home? Get a VISION for your family. Share your DREAMS with your husband. INSPIRE him to be more than he ever thought possible and see that man become everything you desire. It's not going to be easy and it won't happen overnight, but if you are willing to work at it, your marriage can become a beautiful thing.

It sounds like depression or extreme fatigue to me. I think you should take him to the Doctor. If it turns out there is nothing medically wrong, then he's just trifling and I'd get the Elders involved.

I am so sick of these single women going after married men! The number of women I've had to deal with since being in Lagos, its ridiculous! These women didn't take any notice of my husband until he got married. My husband will tell you no only once, then it's my turn. Next time one of 'em heffas roll up on him I got something for ya a$$! Bet!

My advice to poster, stay prayed up, make sure your man has got your back no matter what, and then take them heffas out one at a time! When folks start coming up missing after "prophesying" they'll stop. I'm from Florida, we got the Everglades, I know what to do with the body.

This is a tough one. I can see this from both your points of view. Three years is a long time to be away from each other. Timing was not your side either. I think some people have an idea that things must be a certain way before they get married, and there is nothing wrong with that but things will never be perfect.

My husband vowed he would finish medical school before he got married. We got married a month ago and he has three years of school left. I was willing to wait but he wasn't. I said that to say that maybe you all could have gone ahead and gotten married and she could have gone abroad with you. Instead if it being all "you" it could have been "us." Your plans did not match the reality of the situation and now she's gone.

I'm sorry but all you can do is chalk it up to experience and move on.

Girl! Before you left home you should have gotten some Avon's SOS that poo works like magic! The problem is when it wears off them beetches come flying. So you have to keep your body saturated and forgot my bottle at the guesthouse. I regretted ever leaving that bottle behind because them mosquitos bleeped ME UP. I was trying be all sexy wearing a silk skirt with a halter top. I dressed like a muslim woman the rest of the time during night tiem because they are worse at night.

LOL at Muslim woman, girl I feel ya. Before I go out he's checking every nook and cranny to make sure I'm covered. My Mum has ordered me some Skin So Soft so hopefully I will get it soon. I was so busy getting packed up and getting my shots etc, that mosquito spray was the last thing on my mind. Won't be home again until Christmas. We just got married moved into larger flat, paid his school fees so money is stretched right now. I knew I was getting married and moving to another continent. I knew I was leaving my life behind and building a new one with him, so I knew homesickness would kick in, but didn't expect it to be this bad. I love him so much so I will always be strong for him, but tonight, it really really got to me. You have no idea how just talking to you has made me feel so much better. I know God sent you to me. Please, please let me know when you come to Lagos, we will love to have you and your family over for a soul food dinner.

Girl. Yes! I love Florida! How those mosquitos in Lagos? I remember when I was over there I had to bumrushed them mosquitos. They are some nassy fuckers. They whooped my arse though I ain't gon lie! I will be heading back soon.

I swear these things saw me coming and told all their friends. I'm getting eaten alive. My poor husband has tried everything but to no avail. Hopefully my system builds some resistance to them soon. It's sooo hard not to scratch them, but don't want to end up with scars all over so I'll keep taking my oatmeal baths and pray they leave me alone soon. I'm so happy I got to talk to someone from home tonight. Am very homesick. Thank you!!

Does he frequently make unreasonable requests from you? Is he a insecure man who views anything that takes up your time as competition?

If he is neither of those, then I would take his request seriously. Take a break from it for a while, let him know that he is more important than NL, stroke that ego and assure him of his place in your life. After he's feeling better then you can come back. NL ain't going nowhere. Your man on the other hand, (sometimes the best defense is a good offense).

I definitely believe it is true. I had just gotten out of a two year relationship when my husband found me. He found me just eight days after I walked away from my ex. I wasn't looking, and I promised to give myself ay least six months before I started dating again. I was worried that he was just a rebound, but over time he worked his way into my heart. We are very very happy together.

Anybody who as referred to gamers as not a real man doesn't deserve to be alive, you are a disgrace to nature and you should be instantly stoned publicly to death.

I see most women and men not doing anything at home but to come online and post absolute and utter garbage, most of you are online for 20 hours a day. Imagine that! That's amazing. You do the same generic thing for 6 years and you call men who enjoy video games childish? You are daft. What happens to those at the Sports section? What's the difference? Some of you even suffer emotional trauma when dissed on this website. Please stay offline for a week, lets see if you wouldn't die. Phucking Hypocrites with fake lives. Some dumb britches even claim they are married??! Who the phuck does that? Some of ya'll even have as many as 5 different ID's now tell me do you live a sensible life? Thank God all Nigerian men are not like that. My hubby and I have the same core values and that has nothing to do with culture. If your fundamental belief system is compatible, everything else can be worked out. We haven't run into any major issues yet but when we do, we will handle it like everything else, together.

Being real is one thing but to be demanding is actually an attitude problem. My brother dated this girl for 5 years and she was demanding. Telling him that if he dont this and that, the relationship is over. My brother had to work his a55 off just to get what she needed. I told him to let her go but he insisted that he keeps going cause of the so called blind love. Anyways, to cut the story short, they officially got married last year in October 2010 and since than she continuously keeps demanding for things for her and her family. Like this year she told my brother, u must bring my whole family to Singapore or else I will loose face. My brother had to come to me to borrow money to bring them to their yeye holiday! Im like WTF! This b1tch has an attitude problem. I swear!

She showed her colors BEFORE they got married and your bro married her anyway. He had a choice to continue the relationship or to end it and he didn't. If he is complaining, he can't say he didn't know, because he did. He made his choice, now you all get to live with it. Good luck with that.

I LOVE playing video games. Everything from MADDEN to HALO is in my library. I have XBOX, PS3, and the WII. The key is not neglecting other important things in our lives just to play. But it really helps me relax after a long day.
