@roots, this lady is capitalizing on your weakness, she knows that you love her and she is taking advantage of you. she wants to eat her cake and have it. She wants to keep you not because she still loves you but because of the financial gains you've been giving to her. Yes she has found something in her neighbor that attracts him to her, am sure she must have had intimacy with him. Try tell her you're giving up the relationship just to test her, you will see that she wont feel sober. Not all men are liars/cheaters. It's very wrong to generalize. It's like saying "all women likes’ money". One thing about cheaters is that, they always come up with a reason why they cheats like "my wife ain't gud in bed/my husband is having an affair" and bla bla bla. A promiscuous man/woman doesn't need a reason to cheat! It’s always in them.

No matter how successful a man/woman is, without someone to share the success with is bull (in my opinion). I really don't think marriage should be the ultimate. The most important thing is to find the special person you want to spend the rest of your life with and stick together for better or worse. But, you know an environment like ours does not approve “PARTNERSHIP" as a couple. Better think about it very well. Marriage is not easy especially when children come into the picture. There's no use fighting over money issues early into your marriage. What if something happens and he can't support you? Willl you still be in love? I dont think so. Think girl, reality is what is at stake not sentiments.

I will say if you love him that much wait for a while longer and imagine how things will work out with his current job status. If the job is only a matter of time, like he is a serious person who will make it no matter what, then go for it. If he is a laid back guy or he has issues that cannot be resolved easily, think again.

Lastly whichever decision you make, remind yourself when the time comes to stick by it and not go looking for the other one that might have been. Also remember that the guy has to marry you and not you him. You must be prepared to submit to him even though you are the one paying the bills. Are you ready for that?
