salex66: God will help us in this country.I don't know why our government is so insensitive to education sector.God will not help Nigeria until Nigerians want to help themselves |
Jessigurl: in the first place, i'd never go for a househelp no matter wht. i'd rather live with my niece or nephew, while he/she helps me look after my kids, he/she would stil be schooling.Warped Naija mentality... Only maids are possessed and agents of satan, while your kids are God's children... Next time, you fabricate a story and lynch them, claiming that they are possessed.what's a Naija stay at home mom doing with maids? Laziness I think! |
And we go to church on Sunday and act with all righteousness |
Some girls talking about marriage when they hardly know what to do with their lives, don't have stable job, unclear goals in life, probably living with their parents. Get yourself together first and talk about marriage later! |
Fhemmmy: Chairman, i can only talk about my environment and people i know . . .One out of 10million is an outlier and bad example. Try harder! |
Fhemmmy: Chairman, i dont buy your argument . . . The Ghana dude in Europe that lost billions in trading went through the walls of schools and well educated and yet lost all such monies in his careKeep citing outliers. In Naija, most folks who create, invest, and manage wealth are males, so it's preposterous to infer that women are better financial managers when they have little or no access to wealth.A rich man who genuinely built his wealth is rich because he's a better financial manager. |
Instead of producing top notch thinkers and innovators, they resort to producing religious zealots. No wonder they can NEVER compete against their counterparts globally. |
Misdirected threat! |
99cent: Tinapa was a HUGE multi-million dollar project that was supposed to "jump-start the economy in SE Nigeria". Why did it fail? It should have been built in Lagos instead. what a waste of money.Point of correction! Tinapa is not in SE but SS-Calabar. |
Fhemmmy: Have you ever seen a financial adviser that is not rich before? At least a financial planner/adviser goes through school and gets certified. Which means, gaining experience through education and internship, you are saying that a woman becomes a better financial manager by virtue of her gender not by her years of experience in dealing with financial management. |
Fhemmmy: Lie from the pit of hell . . . cos you making more money does not mean you will be able to manage it well, take a case of son to a rich man and working with Dad, and she is making good money, does that means he will be able to manage the money?Your case of a rich man's son is an outlier. It takes knowing how to manage money to make money.. Just like the way most men in Naija are better investors than women..You cannot manage what you don't know how to make.. A person who has no money managing skills is surest way to run your business aground. Money managing skills are learned not inherent in some XX chromosomes |
Fhemmmy: You mean the man that made most money means he is able to handle money - Not at all, Sir . . how much you make has no correlation with how you manage or save the moneyMy point is that the person with least exprience in making money is going to have little or no experience in managing it. You cannot offer what you dont have! Most folks who make money are in better position to manage it than those who don't . |
I would have preffered to listen to my Imam or Pastor, but they didn't raise me or pay my school fees. |
Fhemmmy: I think you are using the word "most" loosely, cos if you still put 100 ladies together and 100 men at same time, you will fine biger proportion of women that are able to handle money better than most men, i am a man bro, and i know how we are with money. From your arguemen, why is it that most men make more money than women if rhey don't know how to handle money? Are u saying that most men know how to make most money and women know how to keep it? There is nothing to support your argument that most women know how to handle finances better since most men make most of the money. Common sense dictates that the person who makes most is more financially prudent. The person who think he/she's a better money manager should show me by making his/her money. |
Fhemmmy: If you could not trust the woman while she was your girlfriend with money, where will she get the experience or how would you know that she cant be trusted. . . However, some men think once they see the woman dressing too good, she will use all the money to buy bags and shoes . . .Financial experience trumps everything! The person who has the least experience in handling money should not be left with making/handling household finances. The notion that most women are better finance managers should not be taken seriously, since most of them have least financial experience coming into the marriage/union. A friend was worried about his wife's constant calls on his MTN line. The man was on roaming call outside Naija ,,the wife was managing her hubby's business while he had gone and couldn't get it that it was not that important to call her husband every 2hrs.. they were both getting charged and the hubby was left with a bill to pay when he came back. |
Bootylicious: You all keep analysing why a woman/man is still single.. it's simple they haven't found d bone of their bone and flesh of dre flesh, all dis damn rule, principles nd analysis is just by d way, when u find d man/woman 4u so many tins won't matter.!!!Keep living in fantasy island of Utopia. Follow OP's point to the letter and you shall not go back to Babylon again. |
Fhemmmy: I am sorry to burst that bubble, cos your money is hers and hers is yours, it is called household money, no matter who is making more is regardless of the fact that they have to work together to achieve somethingNope you got it all wrong. Expreince trumps infatuation and meets reality. If she's not handled finances before, it makes no sense to let her handle ur finances. Who's got a better experience in making and handling money, should be one to handle household finances. You cannot handle what you don't know how to make. |
lertee: This is aa good point but I have come to realise that most men do not open up on their finance or income to their wives, only few men would do what you wrote here and I think it is the best. Most men will not let women manage their finances when they -men make the most money.. If u are a good manager, show men how you have managed and saved up ur money. How much of ur money are u bringing into the marriage, not hoping to tell a guy how to manage his money. |
taryour: HELL NO!!! Keep in touch for whatGreat advice for emotional wrecks who lack interpersonal skills. Marriage is not the end of life, there are still networks, alliances and friendships to be built and relied on. BTW, if you married all ur exes, by now, you would have had like 6-10 partners. |
Fhemmmy: Easiest way to make it work, as long as the woman is prudent - The man bring the money home and allow the woman to manage it, by so doing, she knows what the home has and how to stretch the money to take care of all that is needed, i have found women to be better manager of money than we, Men.If the woman is a better manager, why can't she go and make more and augment whatever the husband is bringing home? |
dgitrader: fabricated news. if u believe this, u will swallow anything shame on sahara reportersMr Suntai ruined himself , instead of him to hire a professional pilot, he decided to risk his life and now wants to hold his state to ransom. Blame the governor not SR, that's always right 90% of the time |
6. ASUU strike must continue indefinitely. What a wasted country! |
Why is that folks who have less "alway" think that they have the best idea to tell people who have more how to spend their money? |
s3nn2x: Okay! But it should not be a surprise to anyone. She has paid her dues. It is not as if she was picked up from nowhere.Same way Naeto C paid his dues She's just a political jobber! |
Yungwizzzy: sometimes some stingy relatives deserve thisGo make ur own money. Your relatives owe you nothing! Your relatives are busy making money and he's busy thinking of how to marry more women and make more babies. |
It's easier to blame the poor and homeless in Naija. It easily distracts attention from looting, oil theft, ASUU strike, PHCN, insecurity--none of these was caused by poor and homeless folks. Politrickians have created the problem and are now blaming poor folks for being beggars and homeless. |
It's contributing 500bn health epidemic to the rich and middle class |
FrostyZonn: You don't seem to know much about the United States constitutions, do you?You don't know what you are spewing! US wants to close Guantanamo Bay. Mutallab from Naija didn't get sent to Guantanamo Bay. |
Larryfly: it is people like you with distorted reasoning and sick minds that has kept this country like this. i've nothing to say to you but may you experience what you are wishing for that state and suntai himself in this lifeCos you have no better way to win with fact and logical reasoning, instead, you resorted to emotional and gibberish ranting! Typical mentality! |
It seems your girlfriend and her family "discovered" that you have kids? Did you let it all out first? It also seems you regret that you got kids from previous previous? How many kids does your girlfriend have? What's the age difference between you and ur girlfriend? |
Was he not the Works Minister during OBJ who blamed Igbos for quality of work done by Federal Ministry of Works engineers and contractors? |
