Nigerians "hate" racism, but "love" tribalismand religionism. You can't hate someone because of their skin color, but you can hate someone because of their tribe and religion.. It's time we looked inward and see that racism ( we hate) resides in most of us in Naija.

FYI: The cargo airport has been approve by FG and prelimnary work has resumed on the site. The massive land has been acquired around Nteje/Aguleri borders and it has been equally fenced. Orient Petroleum is partnering with Anambra state government in executing this mega project.

Nope, I disagree with his comparison. Anambra is about 5 million and you have at least 3 airports that are 45mins away from its major cities. So if NYC has 2, Anambra should have none with about 5m folks. Waste of funds!

Back to the issues about these guys u listed, how many patents does Emegwali hold? How many peer reviewed papers has he published in ACM or IEEE journals? He's not working in a research lab in the USA. He's a nobody in computing industry in the US. Gordon Bell Prize is not equivalent to Noble Prize cos it's just paltry $10k while Noble Prizs is about $1.4m. I cannot begin to educate you enough on how intellectually insular you are. Some North and South African professors are more published and peer reviewed than these folks. Naija does not count. Delusion of grandeur! Folks like you have not interacted with folks from other countries who are carrying out some research projects..

TCUBE: Tribal sentiments have clouded the sense of judgment of many on this website. Why can't we just be objective and reasonable when we react to stories like this. We claim to be one nigeria but are quick to run to our respective "tribal post" when we all confronted with the harsh realities of out individual bias and tribalistic tendencies.
