Maybe you lost your job because of your bad English and poor writing skills. So you got rejected by JUMIA? Doesn't it tell u that you are not that good?? Rejected a job offer from Stanbic because of their requirements and then accepted a job offer from a private company with no strings attached. Divinelivn: Hmmm!!! Word!!!! Quite agreeable viewpoint. However dnt forget that som of these pastors hav their own businesses that have been blessed and some of the things they own are gifts or seeds meant only for them. Also some of them have made so great investments in numerous lives that it would be unlike God to bless them and surround them with people that will abundantly bless them. When they were suffering and still investing in lives, nobody knew nor cared... All I'm saying is that YES!! Some of our pastors deserve God's immediate rain of fire but some truly have worked so much that it will be impossible for God not to open the heavens on them for the rest of their lives... So we should be careful not to judge Good points made but the notion that stating the facts is judging is absurd. If we treat then with Christ-like reverence, then we should hold them to standards that Christ laid down for us. My point is that the pope is in control of assets worth billion $€£ but chooses to live a humble life as to serve people most of whom are needy and oppressed but these pastors have chosen to acquire inordinate wealth in order to fulfil their thirst for greed and materialism.. These pastors aren't living as paupers but having private jets when British PM with larger and wealthier constituents, doesn't have one is a reflection of whats wrong with modern Christendom |

As for me tho, I alwys apply caution when it cums to religious matters because there are too many issues that commenting on them with human reasoning will undoubtedly push one to the brink of Sinning!!!! Greater sin is being immersed in ocean of abundance when your followers are immersed in poverty.. Why is this hard for us to practice? Jesus didn't live opulently and let his followers suffer!! |

birdman: I beg to disagree. The pope can request that plane anytime he wants. It is reserved for him. In essence, the state itself has bought a jet for the pope.
Now compare that with a pastor preaching a sermon in one city on saturday night, and another sermon in another time zone the next morning. Obviously driving is not feasible. Neither can you carry all your staff for 4-5 hour wait at the airport every weekend, assuming you can even find a flight when you want. Have you ever flown a 12 hour flight before? What evangelist is going to try a world missions trip lasting a 3 months flying every two to three days. Even Reinhard Bonnke, on moving to the US, needed a private jet. God so kind, he found a preacher that gave it to him for free!
Are there carnal christians and pastors that lust after jets because it is a status symbol? Yeah. But there are also carnal christians, like you, who think all there is to a plane is the status symbol. The plane is a tool. Its very effective for Ceos, vps , presidents because they can get from point a to point b quickly. . And it is a very effective tool for moving significant ministry resources from point a to point b at a moments notice Typical Naija mindset of always defending avarice be it from politicians or pastors.. Why does a pastor who has less than 1 million congregants need a private jet? It's just for greed and materialism..Pope leads over 1bn Catholics and flies economy on a charter plane... He's official car is 2008 Ford Focus valued at less than $6000. Pope is eschewing inordinate materialism in an ocean of abundance- yes Catholic has $bns, but Naija pastors are showing inordinate thirst and love for greed and materialism in an ocean of poverty.. Work that Catholic Charities do globally are in $billions and Pope can starve them of funds in order to live an opulent lifestyle |

Did you even read the link? Didn't you say the limit was $300? What's RIA's limit to UK, for instance? What's your point again?
You keep resolving to insult, it doesn't make you any more intelligent or matured.
From the link, which you either didn't read or purposely ignored: "Sender must have a FirstBank account or be identified by an account holder for transactions above N200,000. Maximum send amount as stipulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria is 5000USD Naira equivalent per sender." $300 is for Naira Debit card holders on POS and online transactions. As per money transfer agents like RIA, WU& MG, u have like $900 per transaction and u can't do more than 2x in a week and their agents overseas can't pay more than $4-5k in a wk to one person.. This is not designed for business transfers. Most foreign businesses don't accept WU/MG/RIA, they prefer wire transfer for intl transactions.. I have told u that u play in the feeder team.. $900 can only buy u 1 iPhone without shipping. Imagine u want to buy 50 pieces or a $10k Toyota Camry? |

The policy wants us to use Naira account to conduct transactions locally and internationally (via official/legal rates), and that's how things should be. We all want a better economy and stronger currency, but refuse to doing things the right way!
There's no point in repeating myself, if you insist on ignoring the obvious. I already made my point several times. Offering ignorant opinion from the abundance of your sophisticated idiocy.
