No. Arguably, the most intelligent and civilized people of the South south region, I think. The truth is, the workings of governance in this part of the world makes people like him more and more relevant, even after their time in active politics is spent. He practises the "all-inclusive" style. He identifies with all cadres. The rich and the poor. The haves and the have-nots. The guy has built himself to such a height that if he bats an eyelid, things would move. He also has groomed and replicated more people like him, that's why he can, from the corner of the prison walls, decide who becomes governor. He chose Uduaghan and now Okowa. He's the kind of guy you hate to like, but you're left with no choice. So, all of these and more are just what goes on beneath. |

tyokunbo: Source: http://towncrieronline.net/2016/12/01/eyitayo-jegede-congratulates-rotimi-akeredolu-for-winning-ondo-polls/
Barrister Eyitayo Jegede, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in last week’s Ondo State elections, has congratulated Barrister Rotimi Akeredolu of All Progressives Congress (APC) on winning the electoral exercise.
He did this through a letter of appreciation he released to the public in the last one hour. In the letter, Jegede narrated the troubles he went through before he could contest the election, particularly the antics of the Jimoh Ibrahim camp.
He thanked members of the public for voting for him, as well as members of PDP and his campaign team, including John Ola Mafo, his running mate at the polls.
He however expressed disappointment that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) did not postpone the election, as such a move, according to him, would have promoted fair play and transparency in the entire process.
He was however proud that PDP was able to corner a significant number of votes. despite the problems the party faced at the law courts.
Here is the letter of appreciation below. Bravery personified. I'm wowed. |

I had "premium customer whatever" with both First nation and Medview the whole of last year, yet I didn't even qualify for a plate of coloured/concortion rice. Just some God-forsaken MUFFIN AND HAPPY HOUR+TOM-TOM Water? Just a round of disposable cup per passenger(except of course, you ask for one more). |

Riwo11: It sucks to get cheated on. Sometimes it’s inevitable, like if your girlfriend is a sociopath and you just didn’t know. But other times, there are warning signs you should look out for, like if there’s a random guy in your bed, or your girlfriend has a career that breeds cheaters, like investment banking. (just check out the results below.) Here’s a comprehensive list of the top ten professions for cheaters:
1. Financial (Bankers, brokers, analysts)
2. Aviation (Pilots, flight attendants, flight pursers)
3. Healthcare (Doctors, nurses, nursing assistants)
4. Business (CEOs, managers, secretaries)
5. Sports (Athletes, instructors, representatives)
6. Arts (Musicians, models, actors, photographers)
7. Nightlife Industry (DJs, dancers, waiters)
8. Communication (Journalists, public relations, communicators)
9. Legal (Lawyers, secretaries, prosecutors, judges)
10. Other sectors (Don’t know what that entails, but ok)

Well, just my thought. Well yes, anything can happen. But you have failed to factor in the brazen corrupt practises of the last administration (at the Federal level, that is). Plus, the incumbent Ondo governor has been a huge disappointment to the civil service, who form a chunk of voters. They're being owed salaries tuning up to over 5months. So, it's neither here not there. Whoever wins, let God's name be magnified forever. |

CecyAdrian: This case is sensitive and very deep!
The so called husband is just playing smart by half, what led him to attack a woman he separated from for over two years or he expects her to remain faithful to him while he pursues anything in skirt despite not together anymore.
This lawyer seems to know his onions well and if he pursues that point about Zenith bank breaching its social responsibility to active persecution, harassment and obstruction of justice, then that abusive husband is fried for life because even Zenith bank will strive to clear it's name from this messy case. You obviously won't change your stance even when other evidences present themself. I wonder why you can't understand that the writer of the piece, upon which you premised your lopsided sentiments, is the attorney employed by the litigant AFTER SHE WAS ALLEGEDLY ASSAULTED; and he'll curry favours for his cause, including garnished write-ups such as this. Meanwhile, there are two sides to this already messy story. So, hold your peace and let's await the outcome in full swing, rather than make those prejudicial comments. |

... Unfortunately, the news appears to have gained traction more than the disclaimer. Anyway, I'm still duty bound to inform. The said "fake Amstel Malta" is NOT fake after all. The obvious modifications are a directive from STANDARDS ORGANISATION OF NIGERIA (SON) to the producers Nigerian Breweries. The "old" ones are still in stock after the change, and that's where the misinformation stemmed from. Nigerians should be advised. |

Nairaland General › Between El Rufai And Atiku by adeadeyera(op): 3:33pm On Nov 16, 2016 |
It's no longer news that all is not well between the duo of former VIce President Atiku Abubakar and Kaduna State Governor Nasir El rufai.
Atiku, in an interview with Premium Times, took a snide at El rufai saying he was betrayed by the diminutive Kaduna Governor.
Meanwhile El rufai has responded saying Atiku "has a record of spewing outright lies and innuendo against my person”.
“As we struggle to build a law-abiding society and secure progressive outcomes for our people, we cannot allow the triumph on these shores of those who will have us move to a post-factual world".
What remains to be seen is whether Atiku would respond or not, but the picture attachment clearly speaks volume. It explains the typical Nigerian politician. Loyalty and betrayal are merely dictionary words to them.
When El rufai needed the favours of party stalwarts to actualise his gubernatorial ambition to be Kaduna Governor, he kissed the feet of those who mattered.
This only underscores Former President Obasanjo's assertion of him that "El rufai is a pathological liar".
Interesting times ahead, certainly.

I feel constrained to call out Etisalat for what I call brazen disregard for customers.
Economic ressession or not, an exemplary precedence has been set by Globacom. The prices of Glo data bundles have crashed so whoopingly that most people have started to switch.
So, I decided to stick to Etisalat for God knows what reason and what am I getting? Rather than an upward review of the data packages at reduced prices, they chose the opposite.
No wahala. God knows this would be my last subscription before I dump it.
