She’s been favoured once, it can happen again Dampops yes ooo, I am a favored child (we are all going to be highly favored). It will end in praise |

Bollygold12: Good morning house am new here Can someone pay have of the school fees and go still enter Canada? Ideally you are mandated to pay your initial semester fees it is after you have paid for your semester you can get your letter of enrollment confirmation. But I would advise if possible pay the first year. |

Pimp04: Lol, why on earth will you do that after reading everyday some people have submitted passport for over a month and not gotten it back, bfs Abuja is timely and effective (2weeks) is expect your passport 21st, I bet you you go still re book that flight. No be curse abeg oo. All the best I am sure I wouldn’t have done that if I read about people’s timeline, but nevertheless, it’s no hassles changing the flight date cos it’s free. Thanks all the same |

Better to have and not need, than need and not have. No dey discourage people for something wey u no know anything of. Lol I am sure he knows this information is highly vital, he is just trolling... Anyways thanks for the advice and honestly I needed to hear this as well, cos I wouldn’t have known if you didn’t mention it.. Bless up.. |

Dampops: Wow...a big risk you’ve taken. Abuja processing has averaged 3-4weeks while Lagos has been 4-6 weeks. 18th is circa 2 weeks away.
Fingers crossed. You should get the first email by Monday to confirm it’s arrived at VFS.
Best of luck Wawu... that’s insane, I was of the opinion it was 1-2 weeks max, well there isn’t any cost for change of date for my ticket so I guess I am good. But damn 4 weeks... hopefully mine would be faster I give them 1 week to do normal... |

Please people that used Abuja vfs what was your passport timeframe... I submitted my passport on Thursday and it got delivered on Friday close of business but I didn’t get any email from the vfs (I am hoping that by Monday I would get a mail as regards that) please I would like to have an idea of the timeframe for people that used Abuja vfs, cos I booked my ticket for 18th and I am hoping I will get my passport before that time. Thanks in advance |

Amylove19: @adaenzo. Thank you soon much for your prompt response. I heard at 15m should be kept, but I have 8m and intend to show landed properties too worth about 16m. Do you think this will be okay? Basically what Canada wants you to show is your first year Tuition fees + your living expenses (10,000 CAD) + a little more CAD for miscellaneous.. So yeah 10m should do but if you can build to 15m then please do. Also make sure you have all documents of your landed properties and it’s value... If you are self sponsored then good If someone is going to be sponsoring you, make sure it is someone from your nucleus family. |

Amylove19: Good evening house. I got admission to do a post secondary school diploma in early childhood education in Canada. But I'm advised not to go for it because I might be denied visa. I've been teaching for 7yrs. What if I write a strong sop stating my reason for going for a post secondary diploma. Will it fly? Please who has gotten visa for a post secondary school diploma program. I need urgent answer please. Thank you I am a living testimony to this. Although they are right that you should go for post graduate diploma but I went for ordinary diploma at NAIT and I have been working for 3 years now and I got approved yesterday... just a few tips 1. Make your SOP concise and straightforward, 1-2 pages should be okay 2. If possible pay your first year tuition 3. Build a good bank account. 4. Read more on this thread (I can’t emphasize this enough) 5. Fill your form righteously don’t hide anything. 6. Last but not the least be prayerful |

TeeMade: Big congratulations to you! All I can say is wow... considering all the documents you didn't provide and a 1page SOP. This is an assurance that the God factor is super key, it's not just about the documents. Congrats again. Yes ooo, it has been God all the way.... I had submitted my application before I even knew there was a forum on nairaland for student visa. I felt so bad that only if I knew this before, I would have made my documentation more solid. But we thank God for his grace and mercies. |

Dampops: Proactively pay the 7,430 transmission fee and send evidence of payment to them via email with an explanation Honestly I didn’t know anything about the yellow slip, even after my visiting visa approval (paper application) I just re-checked and I didn’t see an yellow slip or so. But nevertheless I paid 8,250 (7430 of transmission and the remaining for SMS) and I included the payment evidence... that’s how much someone adviced me to pay.. and I did that. I didn’t explain anything lol |

What do I need to take to the hospital for documenting? Just your international passport. And if you are on medications or you have a glasses prescription, take that along... They will be the one to upload your result to IRCC |

AyoitsMub: Congratulations on your PPR! Please did the debit of tuition payment reflect in any of your banks statements? I'm just curious if its possible to attach tuition fee receipt from your DLI without showing the debit from your bank account. Yes the debit showed on my father's bank statement and that further cemented the fact that my tuition was paid by my sponsor (my parents) |

Forms submitted : ALL IMM forms, Int passport, Passport photograph etc
Client Information: SOP -one page (I made 2 typo errors I wanted to cry when I found out) Letter of guardianship from my siblings in Canada (i encourage anybody that has a sibling in Canada to do this, whether you are above 21 or below) Letter of recommendation from my place of work (didn't include employment letter and paystub)- IT Systems Administrator for 3 years Waec certificate year 2009, I forgot to include my Bsc and I didn't include my NYSC as well
Proof of funds: sponsorship letter from my parents Receipt of Full first year tuition payment Mother bank statement (Canadian bank) showing 10k cad Dad's bank statement showing 1.3m naira
Took the leap of faith by doing upfront medicals when I waited for over 2 months and no response. Med passed in 5 days 6 days later BVL and PPR..
I thank God for this, and also I am highly grateful for everybody that contributed one way or the other. There isn't any method to the Canada application, just do your due diligence, be patient, and pray. |
