My wife left me when I lost everything. She took our two children with her and has blocked me everywhere. I couldn't reach her to speak with my children. I have tried reaching her parents to no avail.

But now that things are going well for me, my brother in law lifted me and I am back to business and I have a girlfriend we are getting married next year march by God's grace.

Now my ex is back in the picture making life difficult for my girlfriend. As we agreed, he came to my place on 17th of December and has not made any moves to leave or for us to go to his place. I am moved to create this thread because I got home from work yesterday and noticed more of his things have been arranged in the wardrobe with his shoes arranged by the front door..

Please how do I address this? I can't go on like this. He eats a lot. Snores also.

In that thread, I wrote about how I dropped resignation letter but the company kept mum until I left without making plans for handing over. I said that their 5k was left with me which they didn't say anything about and that my pension was never remitted. Now I don't care about the pension but I think they are trying to set me up.

Their 5k was initially left with me but they still sent the following month estacode to me, after I had left the company. I contacted the accountant that their 5k was left with me and they still sent a new month estacode of 10k to me. I asked him to provide the company's account number and I sent the money to the account which the company confirmed. They said nothing about pension but I don't care because I worked with them for just about 3 years.

After this, my phone was stolen and lost all contacts and details saved on my phone. Just two days ago, I checked my online accounts and email with someone's phone and I saw credit alert of November estacode from the company again. Now if I want to refund the money, what's in my account is no longer up to 10k because the account is on RED. I no longer live in that city and will need to connect with coworkers on Facebook to get accountant's phone number. I live from hand to mouth now and will need enough time to gather money to refund the money upon getting accountant's number.

This company may be trying to set me up... Should I report to the police before they will use same police to harass me? Should it be police PCRU or police in my current town?

From experience, it isn't about the amount. His brother probably received funds from an illegitimate source and it was traced to his account. Not every alert is a good one

Hi Everyone,

I took a loan from a Microfinance bank sometime in 2019. The loan was N600,000 and I was asked to pay back on a monthly basis for 8 months. I had actually requested for 1.2million naira loan to get an important tool/machine to enhance my business but I was only offered 600k. With 600k I could not afford to get the tool, so I diverted the money to another business. After repaying a portion of the loan for few months, the business failed and I could not afford to payback afterwards. The business was meat distribution to households and offices. It failed because of inadequate structure that gave way for customers to receive products but not pay back. Debt killed the business. I have been struggling to survive since then.

At a point, I called the company early this year, when I got a new job that I know the months of my repayment have elapsed but I am ready to start paying a percentage of my new salary, but they insisted I should pay in full since my repayment is overdue.

Recently, I have been getting several threats from the company asking me to make full payment or else the case will be reported to the police and I would be jailed for absconding with the company's money. I know I am indebted to them but I can't afford to refund all the loan now since I am only managing to live with a job that I am doing now which I earn 40k salary. My concern now is that I need clarifications from the legal practitioners, IT experts and public prosecutors in the house on the following:

1. Is this case truly a criminal case as they constantly remind me or is it a civil case?

2. Can the Police actually track my location to arrest me as they threaten? Please note that I use a small Nokia phone and I am in a remote area outside Lagos.

3.What is the worse thing that can happen; so I can get ready for it because I am not financially buoyant now to cough out 600k now.

I don't have a single emotional connection with her, I have tried and I have failed. I think it's time to move out of the house and start my tailoring business. I don't have the finance to rent a shop and a house separately, so I want to rent a room and parlor and make it both my living and work space. Is this a good move? I cannot function properly in this house anymore.

I don't know where you have worked, but you do not publish the full name of the staff handling your recruitment in a forum. Every mail received is confidential and whatever reservation you have should be taken up with the organisation and not to the public to judge.

A matured way to handle it was to request if anyone staff in Access Bank was available to answer his questions and I am sure he would have received a favorable response. But no! We must report to social media first, the recipient later.

The criminal must have collected ur atm details at one of the places u used ur card on their pos, this is one major risk in pos transactions. Whenever u use ur card on a pos, don't let them get hold of ur card too much or if possible handle ur card ursef. The idiot either transferred ur money to someone in Bayelsa or to his own account, he doesn't necessarily has to be in Bayelsa, perhaps he opened the account in Bayelsa and resides now in same state as u.
Major suspects: All the people u have used ur card on their pos.

Please don't fool yourself, restriction can be placed on suspicious transactions and the CBN have power to do so. The question should be, "who regulates the regulator"

This reminds me of the case between US government and Apple over a man who the FBI wanted badly and they got his iPhone. FBI contacted Apple for the unlocking but Apple refused that it's the privacy and data protection policy of the company. FBI had to look for other means to break into the phone.
