Donpresh95:How would leaving make anything better? I keep asking this question. Can you kindly explain? |
SirBunky85:Something like the Icelandic revolution in 2008. Besides this is 2018 man, with social media things are very very easy. But Nigerians don't think about their children, imagine how bad things will be in the next 20yrs. Maybe then they have found an alternative to oil. We really really need to wake up as a nation. Even apart from the govt the people are very corrupt we need revolution with our selves. We need to start thinking about our future as a nation, what are we going to leave for our children, we should be our brothers keepers, It breaks my heart to see Nigerians (black people) in a bad state at home or abroad. Then you hear this kind of things, it's really annoying. This kind of govt are the ones responsible for slave trade, Nigerians will just be at home one day you will just see chinese on your tv (BBnaija) and then chinese soldiers will start flogging everybody to be picking cotton, then we will find out that the Nigerian govt borrowed money (for senators salary) but couldn't pay back so they just gave the country away and shared the money. |
SirBunky85:There is a big difference, not revolution for dividing the country, but a revolution to take back the country. But with statements like this "Upandan" shows your not even willing to help. Revolution doesn't need to be violent, it's when the govt say "we don't care and we will keep stealing" then all hell might break loose. Hopefully not! They need to get the message though. But 1 day, 1 day! I have been telling people e go be like film, when this people step on the wrong toes, when people who have nothing to lose have had enough! Hmmm! |
I'm not sure all the doctors agreed sha but ... good and thoughtful move, plus the respect they will get from the nurses will be through the roof. In Nigeria doctors protest pay rise?!?! Thats even when the some of the doctors will start sending the nurses to do more work for them. |
Respect! The attention to details ... What's even more exciting is that you will only get better. It's really nice, keep up the good work. Also, the actors did great. Well done mate! |
You don't provide jobs or increase salary but you are increasing tax?!?!? Remember good governance, 24/7 electricity, healthcare, security, atmosphere for proper employment and good infrastructure is the govt sole responsibility go to Another problem is other places like Ogbomosho will see this and want to start collecting tax and will tell the peeps in the state "paying tax is your civic responsibility go to UK and see" Provide just electricity but no O. 2018! People are looking for how to go to the moon Nigerians are still struggling with electricity and you say increase in tax! Tax ko! Tax ni! Go to Uk and seeNhvgftfhnohvtfswdvhjknhfffxdsegh! |
Reference:It is just sad, and to think everybody is calling the boy sharp? Even if it's a joke or not, I've seen this happen b4 & this is one of the biggest problems in Nigeria. We think we are smart but ... warri no dey carry last (look at the state of warri) , naija no dey carry last look at the state of the country. If the boy had come back to say "auntie sorry I didn't see a card, I can check again later but can I still use the 100? " even if she doesn't give it's just biscuit. Na wa for children of now a days sha! |
LaudableXX:Lol ... does everything posted about Buhari have to be bad, I'm just sharing mate |
Foreigners looking to work in Nigeria, Africa’s biggest economy, might be out of luck. An executive order signed by Nigeria’s president Buhari on Monday (Feb. 5) “prohibits the ministry of interior from giving visas to foreign workers whose skills are readily available in Nigeria.” It’s not a blanket ban though. The executive order states that foreigners will be considered for jobs “where it is certified by the appropriate authority that such expertise is not available in Nigeria.” The executive order also tells government agencies to “give preference to Nigerian companies and firms in the award of contracts.” In a tweet, president Buhari said the order was in line with his vision of a “Nigeria that produces what it consumes.” As such, the executive order is likely aimed at boosting local production and guaranteeing more patronage for local industries. Buhari also hopes the order will see “local companies get preference” in “planning, designing and executing” science, technology and engineering-related projects. The hope is a boost to local companies will result in a ripple effect for job creation which is crucial given Nigeria’s high unemployment rate. But the restriction on hiring foreigners could be seen to conflict with the government’s recent move to more open visa policies. Last year, amid business reforms, the government relaxed visa rules and opened additional immigration offices to make it easier to obtain residence permits. With elections coming up next year, Buhari’s administration might also be betting that being seen to restrict the number of foreign workers will appeal to voters in a country with millions of unemployed people. But the number of unemployed Nigerians that can take up the mainly specialist roles for which expatriates are typically recruited will only be a tiny fraction of the millions of job-seeking Nigerians. It’s not the first time president Buhari has pushed nationalist and populist views in office. He has railed against Nigerians importing “luxury” foreign goods. It’s a sentiment that has been evident during his administration as well. In 2016, amid a forex crunch, the central bank limited spending on Nigerians’ debit cards once outside the country. Indeed, amid Nigeria’s first recession in two decades, highly-placed government officials, including the senate president, backed a social media campaign tagged “buy Naija to grow the naira.” The rationale, as they saw it, was simple. If Nigerians spent their money buying local products rather than foreign goods, the economy and the troubled currency would benefit more. This is like me writing on twitter that all Nigerians are dumb and stupid and it is part of our culture ... then next week I apply for a job and they give an oyinbo friend I am more qualified than, then I will complain on the same twitter and be shouting racism ... all this things she is saying will still affect her regardless of if her father and mother are armed robbers or not ... but I can speak for yo y mi familia, we are def not. |
nezzar:Hehehe ... from the pic your calling me a-licker? Nah fam! That's why you keep getting floored in arguments ... I'm talking about the intensity of the argument not the content. bruh! you said "stop quoting me" and then said good night at 2pm come on man! Go hard or go home!Plus you started it ... lmao |
nezzar:Hahaha! bruh! just take your L and rest. Wetting bring lure into marriage with sex again, even if you are right or not, from the look of the argument you weren't looking too good bruh. Better luck next time. |
Would have been awkward if she had a sister who looks exactly liker her who then walks out and he says to his parents "yeah! that's her" stands and hugs her, starts introducing her to his parents and then the girl he came for walks out ... throughout the remaining introduction the mama don switch off, she go just dey shake leg, waiting to ask questions when they get into the car. @Pocohantas ABEG! @Blackhawk! ABEG! Relax ... them wan murder @Nezzar, bros humble said good night at 2pm. Lmao! Them waaaaaaaaan! |
Beautiful people ... I saw 1 girl I want to make my wife already. But for real I was smiling looking at the pictures ... Happy New Year peeps! (If I hear say I post pic!). |
intruxive:Are you for real?!?!? Show me 1 Nigerian? People from the north are more honest but you can't trust anybody stop making shallow statements man. |
It is really difficult in Nigeria sha ... me that I was proud of this man ... no bastard should tell me he is corrupt or did anything wrong because atleast he is trying and there are people who are far worse. Why prosecute him now that he is providing jobs, instead of trying to see how we can make this an international brand we are doing all this EFCC rubbish. Abeg! I really am tired of Nigeria. |
For people to actually say "nothing wrong with this stairs" ... frankly this country will never improve, because they will keep giving you rubbish and you will say nothing wrong until they will bring ladder, because they are testing your standards and the more you see nothing wrong, the more they keep doing things like this ... from Nigerian Airways to Nitel to Nepa or is it PHTC or PHCN. Just because it is locally made doesn't mean they shouldn't package it well ... this is 2017. See the train they got see the one Mexico got. It's really sad that people still think like this ... imagine a woman and her baby, with little children coming down this thing. This looks like rat trap. With the skeletal frame showing it makes it more difficult and scary to use, imagine if your walking on glass and you can see below you. Just because you get mind and it's ok for you doesn't mean it's right, somebody might be scared of heights. Well maybe it's not a sign of a failed state but the lack of management and accountability, if at this level they can't manage stairs or provide better ... imagine in some few years this person in charge becomes a leader ... if I hear say this stairs no reflect him term for office. |
Evablizin:Well, somebody better start believing! ![]() https://www.nairaland.com/782829/heaviest-economic-crises-comming-soon |
Adaowerri111:Actually he did, this is the only one I found but there is another topic he said Nigerians should invest in farming. https://www.nairaland.com/782829/heaviest-economic-crises-comming-soon |
KadunaMafia:O boy I no go ever forget ... walahi him talk about Naija. Apart from this topic, there was another one he advised Nigerians to start investing in farming and leave oil. I still remember but can't pin point the the topic but see this is one. https://www.nairaland.com/782829/heaviest-economic-crises-comming-soon |
bobot:No need to say where from mate! We get it from your haccent ... lmao ... no vex! |
BiafranBushBoy:You are not alone brother ... but let's wait and see. Still a little hopeful. |
The guy is not serious ... 1st never lay your hand on a woman for any reason, talkless of answering your phone ... maybe she was even testing him small and he failed, maybe She was just expecting him to yell at her ... but she did what any reasonable lady will do ... leave a woman beater. The mother maself ... smh! what kind of advice is that?!?!? |
Still ... it goes a long way, let them keep on doing all this eye service, one day - one day ... one of them will see the condition of the people and it will touch his heart and by Gods grace he will try to improve the condition of the people/ state/ country ... by Gods grace! |
Sad ... this is done by the (very x100) jobless local ignorant street area boys ... I swear you can't classify them, people from the place don't even associate with them, I know decent Hausa men who have been attacked/ killed because they confronted these area boys known as (dan dabar). The Federal govt should hold the state government responsible and compensate the people who lost their property. These guys are just jealous because the Igbo people live in better houses, drive better cars, doing well in their business. Trust me a Hausa man who has his business won't go attack another Igbo man, rather they will try to work together, the Igbo people there are not fools. They just need to get rid of these jobless area boys who are always high on solutio and fall into the wrong hands (local leaders who were once area boys). |
kikake:Bros I know you are angry I feel you, But reason first this dictators didn't favour anybody but their family and friends they are just have plenty family members lol, Northern Nigeria is still not heaven, people are their suffering worse than you think Polio wan destroy the region, I will not even talk about education and other stuffs. But I feel you. Since then till today WE have been unfortunate with bad military and democratic leaders. WE need to address this issue. Secondly Greece and Turkey have never been a country, it's like saying Nigeria and Cameron can never be the same country. What should be more appropriate is saying Turkish people and Kurdish people don't get along but they are the same country. That's why Kurdish people have PKK also labelled as a terrorist group. If the IPOB leaders where smart they would have followed the same route the Iraqi Kurds took, which is an "autonomous region" kind of like structuring in a way, now they are super rich and where able to fight off Isis and even go help other Kurds In Syria "Kobani" with their own custom made weapons. |
romeorailss:Lol! Dude! I am not Igbo, I have never lived or been to the Eastern part of Nigeria, (maybe once to Onitsha for a wedding) so the "you people should put your house in order first" doesn't apply ... I haven't really been a fan of Nigerian elections but to say no Igbo person has tried to run as president in a party (Umbrella) before?!?!? come on now ... I know of one and he lost the primaries badly, I think it was PDP but I can't remember his name all I know he had Chukwu in his name. This IPod just destroyed everything for even innocent Igbo people SMFH! The leader didn't go about it properly and they never really had any concrete plan, he was just motivated by hate sadly. But they feel they are marginalised, we need to sit down and try understand where they are coming from, sadly every Nigerian suffers but ... kai! Gaskiya naija get too many problems. But our biggest problem is corruption and bad leaders, we need to fight this as a nation. I keep telling this IPod guys what if you have bad leaders too and it's the same thing, will you now cry for JPHOB? (Jesus Please Help Our Biafra) |
Blue3k:Word! Even if they let anybody join, they have to discipline them let them know what is right and wrong and keep them away from civilians. |
Bros ... put yourself in her shoes, she deserves to be happy, she deserves to feel loved ... I just hope she is not doing it with another married man, breaking up another marriage. But I think she should move on, your dad is emotionally abusing her and it's really not right. She sounds like a meek woman who has endured a lot, let her be happy. Your dad shaaaa! Smh! |
I have said it before and I will say it again ... Igbos are very smart people and like it or not they are among the major pillars holding this nation. Honestly I think they deserve more respect, We need to show them more respect. If no Igbo president in the next 2 elections something is wrong, how ironic if it is actually an Igbo President who will return Nigeria back to its Glory days. God bless Nigeria |
gwhizy283:Because their coach already read the defensive game plan of the Nigerians, some body screens, another makes a run outside, the other player screens the shooter ... bam! 3! |
Nigerian players and their nonchalant attitude ... they just leave those guys to shoot free 3's ... Put in more effort, change the defensive strategy, it's not working with this team, too many open 3's. |
... What's even more exciting is that you will only get better. It's really nice, keep up the good work. Also, the actors did great. Well done mate!
come on man! Go hard or go home!
