I can never understand the ideology of you doing nothing financially for me and you are trying to checkmate me, want to see who I am talking to and getting jealous all the time.

Am I supposed to stop talking to other guys, because I am dating a guy like you who can’t even take care of the basic needs of a woman, her hair and toiletries? Of course I am doing it myself, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with my man doing it for me. If you are broke and do nothing for your babe give her some space.

She knows you don’t have and trying to cope with you but don’t choke her up, especially now when you have nothing to offer.

Ps: if you are stingy as a man, you are not a man, you have no value. I didn’t say broke I said stingy. If you can’t do in little you won’t in much.
I'd rather not get married than have this kind of person as chic or wife. Today it is hair and toiletries, tomorrow it is IPhone 20 and House in New York.

True story: My chic told me not to spend money on her again, instead she told me to talk to my boss to let her work in the same company, this was while she was in University O! Today, anything she wants is a must for me.

This one dey here dey talk about men should think well and give her space to buy horse hair. Smh.

The guy talked about his cattle before his family members? Your even thinking of your cattle!?!? Na wa O!

Create your own Forum and give it lots of improvement. Or is your brain not good enough to bring out positive things. Talk is cheap.
The problem with Nigeria right here. And there are a lot of people with this kind of mentality.

Imagine coming out to protest and demand change and improvement from the government and this one will say "create your own country and improve it, is your brain not good enough blah blah blah ... "

We can blame Buhari & others as much as we want but Nigerians are the real cause of our problems. It's just sad.

So that is an excuse to kill patients abi? It is the patuent's fault. If work conditions no favour you, quit. Its more honourable than to sit, be grumbling and act unprofessionally. Wh told you bosses abroad dont use people? Please stop these delusions. The difference between there and home is there is a functional system where everything works. You are used same as everywhere else. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer
Read it well oga! I'm not talking about this incident, i was talking about why working abroad is waaaay better than naija.

About bosses, again read it well, I said majority of bosses and it all comes down to the type of boss you have. You are used same as everywhere else but as a Nigerian who has worked here and abroad, where would you like to be used? .... think about it ... exactly.

Italy is a special case

1.Several areas of Italy have bilateral agreements with China where Chinese workers come in to do jobs in certain regions...and many of these workers came from affected areas.

2.Also, several Europeans traveled , in the run up to the crisis, to China as tourists, (Euorpeans have more disposable income than Nigerians)and brought back the infection (Recall, most sick people are asymptomatic to begin with)

3.Many foreign tourists often try the local cusine. where they travel (and most Italians are not vegetarians , their diet has a lot of meat in it!)..and that includes China.

4.Most Italians greet by kissing each other on the cheek...nice way of spreading the virus.

5.25% of Italy is made up of over 65year olds. Guess who the virus affects badly..the old, and the very young.(Immune system of an old person is not as good as that of a young chap)
For a doctor you need to pay a lil more attention ... tongue

Read the quote and response again. wink
Also, there are a lot of Italian Vegetaranians.

I actually pray as many as want to go let God provide a way. Oyinbo wont take half the nonsense they put people though here. The best part is even doctors abroad feel they are not compensated enough. They will wotk every ce t out of you and you dare not complain.
Doctors, nurses in USA are protesting because of no safety equipments when treating patients.

In Nigeria you will do all that hard work, comeback home no light, no petrol to buy for gen, can't buy anything, no money to save. Bruh "NO" Nigerian I know has complained about work abroad. Majority of bosses abroad will compensate you if they see you are putting in work, it all comes down to the type of boss. But even still you will be comfortable at the end of the day.

I am a medic, it affects me, and I took an oath to treat people.

See lassa fever. And HIV. The fact that fewer people die from both illnesses today is because medics... were bold enough to treat them write case reports, and do research into cures, at great risk to their lives....contributing to the knowledge base we have to help them.

As for you, vote out PDP and APC come 2023.....or run for office yourself and make things better.

I'm not running away from any sick patient. I took an oath as a doctor. I'm not going to run.

In the US...they are improvising in the abscence of PPE...because not every hospital there has adequate supplies. I'll do that if that happens.
Easy there tiger ... if in a pandemic all doctors act this way and they become sick we will now be relying on vulcanisers and mechanics abi? Hospital should provide safety equipments in hospitals so they can at least refer.

Some of you think its all rosy abroad too? Actually I pray as many of you that want to go to go. Funny enough when you go there is no room for all these silly grumbling and you will see people paid way better than you and you must put in the work. No room for unprofessional behaviour.
5K ... you self use your church mind. Abroad is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better my guy. It's just because they are overwhelmed but the hospital will provide mask incase of situations like this.

Most of you commenting here don't know what PPE is. If you have attended safety seminar or course you would understand the importance of PPE. The doctors and nurses in Gbagada general hospital don't have that and it is not a place where infectious diseases are treated. If you talk of kidney and heart disease that is what are treated and others. The government and senators of this country have killed this nation's health system. I tell you that there is no single ventilator in this hospital. Those receiving oxygen get it in a very funny way. Go and see for yourself
But atleast masks and gloves can be provided even by the hospital incase of incidents like this. They are still your staff and they can better protect themselves and refer the patients to an infectious diseases hospital.

Wealthy people are more likely to travel than poor people...and Nigeria is no exception.

Most of the cases in Nigeria are from people who travelled abroad and came back. As things stand...for now, most poor people may not get this illness.
That's like saying people who eat bat in Wuhan are most likely to get infected than vegetarians in Italy. But I know you have read what is happening in Italy. It's just 2 to 3 people it takes. Surely the rich have house boys and driver who do earns for them.

How do they know they are Egyptians? For this thing to have gotten this bad those useless people waited for too long. They most have infected some people (who have infected people who have infected people) which is why I have been shouting lock down since ... God luck Nigeria.

People who are abusing the hospital should keep quiet Abeg! Government should provide every hospital with safety kits especially at emergency and 1st responders who can direct patients to a proper hospital.

Hope they disinfected the hospital after that.

George Akume was there as well.

The entire place he has been to needs to be disinfected immediately!!

TravelRe: Nigerians Abroad, How Do You Cope With The Coronavirus Issue? by adidison(m): 10:53pm On Mar 23, 2020
The govt needs to shut everything down now before it is too late. I really don't understand their stupidity here. Countries with better public health care are closing everything but A country like Nigeria that doesn't have proper health care are still being careless.

They think they have everything under control because they can monitor 30 people but the way it spreads is unreal. Again you know the kind of population you have, very stubborn people because of their faith and don't trust govt or respect laws.

If this thing gets out of control in Nigeria it will be very very difficult to contain / stop and a lot of old people will be lost. That is what scares me. I really don't understand this stupidity.

MiztaFabuloz:
These things mostly happen to gold diggers and ladies that really have nothing to offer. How many hard working ladies can you see telling same story. There are millions of African ladies overseas doing very fine so the fact few have bitter stories don't mean its a bitter story for everyone.
You follow a man overseas just to go and eat, sleep, have sex, enjoy life without any plan for yourself and you expect to live a beautiful life. Your name is sorry.
Oga relax. Not everybody has the same story, it is all hustling, same goes to a young man who marries a 75 year old. Here the ladies follow men they think are their bf's who promise them heaven on earth and understand that it is her boyfriend not just a random person.

Same advice I will give every woman I know, never rely on any man only your father and bro's. Fine you get to Europe on the 1st day give him your CV, go out and check companies tell him this is where you want to work. Let the man respect you. Obviously if he did respect you before he probably lost it when you started doing stuff like posting fake life on Facebook and Instagram instead of looking for work.

That being said we need to look out for each other esp our women, some will be forming and can be annoying but at the end of the day we are all fam. Good thing the person shared this so other ladies know regardless of who they meet (good or bad guy) they always have to be careful and smart.

There is evil in the Nigerian youth.

Parents have failed in their responsibility to educate and raise honest, hardworking individuals.

Traditional leaders have failed to promote peace and adherence to traditional values.

Successive governments have failed to create an environment in which industry thrives.

Nigerians have a problem.
I disagree ... if the individual is heartless no amount of home training or .... can help.

Parablesonmarble:
Reserve your unity preaching for the marauding Fulani herdsmen and just spare me. It has not worked for sixty years and you think we don't need a review?! In your mind, this right here is working, huh? Its because its broken that we asking for a fix. You think people just develop this kind of mentality overnight? Teach us how to prosper as a nation so we can learn. I maintain, I've got absolutely no business with the reality soap happening in England. I'm more concerned about this contraption called Nigeria. Just this morning, it was reported that another problem between the natives and the Fulanis is loading in Kogi with about 3-5 valuable Nigerian lives lost already. Are we gonna go on this way without doing something to stop the rot except verbally encouraging ourselves to learn to live together while entertaining ourselves with the fiasco in the palace as a distraction from the painful reality of our existence? For me its a no-no. If drifting apart will preserve more lives than remaining united, so be it. After all, no one is indispensable and every single live matters. If you've ever lost a loved one to the pervasive insecurity in this country, I doubt you will still be mouthing unity. If you want to preach unity to me, come to me with facts and figures of what is being done and the advantages of staying united in view of the overwhelming evidences and disadvantages of staying together.
Dude ... to be honest, has anything worked in Nigeria for the past 60yrs? We need to review the whole country. I have said it a million times we need to change our mentality and be disciplined. The herdsmen have been in nigeria since I was a child, why is it now they keep killing in the south/ middlebelt? Believe me it is political Just like Boko Haram before it got out of hand.

I know you don't care about England and all their fairytale problems but your point about Nigeria is what got my attention. Are you going to blame the sokoto state governor because Edo state is not developed? Is somebody in Kano going to blame the governor of Abia state because there are too many almajiries on the road? Collectively we are all suffering because of corruption, greed and bad leadership and it's making people angry and frustrated.

What makes you sure that drifting apart will help the situation. After drifting apart kidnapping becomes worse, police brutality becomes worse, armed robbery becomes worse, this tribe accuses the other tribe of cheating - what will you do now, drift again?!?!?! Just look at South Sudan who should be the richest African country now but it's from frying pan to fire because they had civil war and Uganda had to step in.

It's easy to just sit and imagine but when reality sets in it's a different story with out proper plan. Believe me Northern people are one of the most genuine people you will ever meet but it's always the bad people that make too much noise. We all need to change to make this country a better place not only for us but for future generations.
