N4B is not too much to spend on the health facility used by our top government functionaries. Like they say, the devil is in the details. In any case, no one has suggested that the money is too much, in absolute terms, the condemnation is in relation to money proposed for other federal TEACHING hospitals. Again, I can not justify (or unjustify, pardon the coinage) the figures based on the little information I have. Neither can you, nor anyone else.

Nigerians just argue blindly. We look at monetary figures devoid of contexts and we throw fits. Without any iota of knowledge about what the money is being spent on and what is on ground in both the state house clinic and the teaching hospitals, commenting on the figures is just sounding off. I know for a fact that the facilities in some of the teaching hospitals are worth more than N5B. UCH in Ibadan may be worth more than N10B in equipment. So, lets have a context to this debate. Let no one use naked figures to bamboozle us.

I will just ignore you. Your talk would have made sense if I made this story up. I never set out to spoil anybody's image. Let the guy refund my money or replace his dud of a TV and you will see how I will melt silently into the crowd. As long as he is fraudulently keeping my money, I will remain on his case. When any of you lose N150K to him, you may come back and preach to me. I'm the one who is looking at a N190K faulty TV under my bed, not you. I'm even just playing with him, when I have his time, you, his accomplishes, will beg for him.

You are the definition of busy-body. If you noticed, I have an ongoing dispute with your friend. You are the one getting involved in an issue that does not concern you. I'm a victim of Acunon and I will keep telling BUYERS TO BEWARE. I lost money, even Acunon is not disputing that, so OTHERS MAY ALSO LOSE THEIR MONEY. Of course, each individual will take their decisions, but they will have the benefit of knowing that it is not everyone that came across Acunon that is happy. His "guaranteed" TV that he sold to me for close to 200K is still gathering dusts under my bed. His promise to take it from me for replacement has not materialized for about 6 months now. Sir, before I sent him money (almost 65k), I reasoned twice. However, after taking the pain to go through the thread from the first page till the page I saw it, and after seeing testimonies of people, I had 80% trust in him. I paid on the 23 or 24 of last month (I can't remember vividly now) and I expected to get the delivery after two days (he was to send the tv and fridge to ibadan). Due to the festivities, it was delayed a little longer. Also, the tv he was to send to me was sold (according to him) while looking for carton to wrap the tv. Few days later, he sent me the model of the tv he was to send and I got it. The bottom line is, he gave me his word and delivered the items, and they all came with receipts. I don't care if he's a middleman, as far as he is honest, it's enough. I can post our conversations on WhatsApp, bbm and even texts here with his permission.
I understand business could go sour, but I think it is something you can sort out. I am glad that after I placed my order, many people have placed theirs and have gotten their stuffs too. Once again, Mr Acunon is a legit, and is no fraud.

You are presuming that deceitful people dupe EVERYONE they meet. No, being a dupe is a societal psychological game. They leave a trail of people who can vouch for their honesty while hitting their targets hard. Was Anini not a generous man, spraying money to the people after his deadly robbery operations? Didn't many people including Buhari said Abacha was a nice man? Just like you, I read everything on this thread and I sent out 190K to him without any idea of what he looked like. While you are lucky your experience turned out well, mine turned out ugly. Until he settles with me, I will regard him as a fraud and I'm convinced in my heart that he knew that the TV he sold to me was defective ab initio. My money has become a ticking time bomb in his life, UNLESS IT IS TRUE THAT THE TV WAS OKAY when he packed it in Lagos.

I don't know Mr Acunon, I never met him, but I've transacted business with him twice and he didn't disappoint. He sent my tv and also helped me to purchase a refrigerator. You are sharing your own supposedly "good experience" with this fraud, why do you abuse me for sharing my very bad experience with him? Unless of course, you are one of his accomplishes. If you are in Lagos or somewhere in the South West, please visit Alaba and buy the TV yourself, dont go through this fraudulent middle man and his accomplishes. Unless you are a complete slowpoke, there is no danger in going to Alaba to buy things, just be on the look out for little cretins and cheats like Acucon who will be going forward and backward with you over something that is not their business. I have gone there to buy TV by myself after the misadventure with Acunon. You will even get varieties and test them to your heart's content before you pay.

This is similar to the experience I had with him. My suspicion is that he does this with expensive televisions. I also paid him 190K for a 55" LG TV which he brought himself. On setting up the TV, I saw that it had two lines. He had promised to take the TV back from me since September last year. I think he waits for expensive TVs to strike. The people giving him good recommendations are the ones buying small sized TVs for small money. When you ask him for a large screen expensive TVs, he strikes, like the fraud that he is. He brings you a defective TV and pretends that the TV got spoilt in transit.

Shocking. We will be keenly listening to the supremo on Friday to see what the other 6 judges who had adjudicated on the issues previously missed. Their lordships have once again validated the usefulness of the Nigerian politician's oft-quoted mantra of "win first and everything else can be taken care of later".

The measured SOC is not extremely important. It does not always reflect the true state of the battery. It is at best an educated guess based on input and output Ampere-Hour. When the inverter "calculates" that it has returned the removed AH, it then registers that the battery is at 100% SOC. This is not always true. I will say dont worry too much that you are not seeing 100%. It doesn't matter too much. Your voltage of 13.8 is about right for a floating battery. What is important is what voltage do you get some hours after NEPA is off and not on load? What voltage do you get when the inverter is supplying power (on load) without NEPA?

About 13V (12.8-13.2V) is fine when the battery is at rest without NEPA or load after a few hours. When you put a load on the battery, you should start off with about 12.6V (12.4-12.7) depending on the load. If you are seeing less, you are either putting too much load or your battery did not get good charge.

In my opinion, it is something that you have to personally study to see if you are getting the best out of your batteries. You can only get generic advise here, but each inverter/solar system setup is unique. The voltages you will see will depend on your usage scenarios. Finally, what equipment you are using for your measurement will also affect what readings you are getting. You may need to calibrate your voltage reading if your inverter supports that. You will obviously need a good clamp metre to do that.

As to solar support, it will depend on how much NEPA do you get per day. What SOC/Voltage do you get to in a typical morning after overnight use. It is presumed that solar will charge your battery for about 4-5hrs on good sunny days. You can calculate how much solar you will need based on SOC/Voltage of your battery in the morning and what current (in ampere) will you need to put your battery back to full charge in about 5 hours.
