Is there anyone around who is using Smile 4G on iPhone 6 plus? I bought iPhone 6 plus purposely to serve as my data phone because it supports numerous 4G LTE bands. Indeed when you search for available networks, it detects Smile, Swift and Spectranet networks. But I have been unable to connect to Smile. I initially thought that it was an iPhone issue, but I bought a Lumia 640 xl dual sim LTE recently and it behaves exactly the same way.

If you use solar, inverter or prepaid meter, Plasma TV will increase your power consumption. It is the only thing holding me back from buying a plasma TV. If that is not a problem to you, plasma Tvs are still very good and a great bargain.

I need it in Ibadan. Possible?

I'm surprised at how we are always quick to condemn or praise things we do not have the details of. This woman was sacked AFTER SHE OVERSTAYED HER MATERNITY LEAVE. The issue of how long she overstayed the leave was carefully left out of the report. Please consider the facts. 1. The school is privately owned 2. The woman went on presumably paid maternity leave collecting money from the school during the leave, even though she wasn't working. Presumably for 3 months. 3. She decided to extend this three months to x months for whatever reasons. I think the school has a right to carefully consider her case and see if her absence was justified. I think we need to get ALL THE FACTS before we condemn anyone. And in case it matters, I'm proudly Muslim.

"A well crafted phone" Totally your opinion. One man's meat is another man's poison. iPhone 6 plus may be a great phone, but it did not work for me. Let me tell you why. I wanted a data only phone that can work with the LTE networks in Nigeria. iPhone 6 is advertised as the phone with the highest number of LTE bands, which is true. But the iphone had issues picking LTE networks. So it was not fit for purpose. That was why I needed to sell it. Jiayu S3 and Zenfone 2 on the other hand pick the Smile and Spectranet signals very well.

You are right. I will sell it off in a heart beat if anyone gives me good money. i have too many phones than is good for my health. That is why when it comes to phones, I know my onions. I have had all there is to have. S1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Still resisting the urge to buy S6. Iphone 1, 3G, 3GS, 4, 5 and 6 plus. I skipped 4S and 5S. Huawei Mate 7, various BB, no BB10 etc.

Thank you small boy. Can you point out to where I have attempted to compare Infinix Hot 2 to any of these two phones? Rather, I have only compared it to Lumia 520, another sub $100 smartphone. I know the Nigerian educational system is getting worse, but I missed how bad it has become. You guys are really showing me.

Certainly. Argument is a waste of time. But those specs you quoted are a worse waste of time. As apple has shown over and over, better specs do not translate to better phone. iPhone does not have the biggest megapixel camera or the screen with the highest resolutions, yet most people say that iPhone is better than many other phones with better specs. My iPhone 6 plus has 1Gb of RAM, yet it performs better than my Asus Zenfone 2 with 4Gb of RAM.

Though, you are as foul-mouthed as the others, but you are a bit more honest. You agree it is a "low end device" so you are happy with the low end screen. Good for you. The problem is I have seen better screen on cheaper phones. The old Lumia 520 had a much better screen. The screen is the heart of a mobile phone, it is what you look at all the time. Infinix did themselves a great injustice by cheapening out on the screen. And as to the f00ls mouthing useless specs (1280x720, IPS, HD etc), those things mean nothing, it is what the screen looks like that matters. Contrast, RGB colour gamut, saturations, brightness are the more important things, not some meaningless buzz words. I fell for those same specs, to my regrets.

Friends, pls do yourself a favour, check out the phone in person before putting down your hard-earned money. You have been warned. I had no such privilege.

The screen is blurry, dim (even at the brightest level) and generally poor quality. I suggest that you see one before buying. Don't fall for the hype, like I did.

Yes, Master. I changed the launcher to Nova and then Apex. It was still a blurry mess. The screen is terrible. People who have used medium to high quality phones will not be happy with this screen. Indeed, I first noticed the coming disaster before I put the phone on. The LCD looked greyish instead of being deep black like the surrounding bezel. It is my first infinix phone, it will certainly be my last. No more infinix for me.

Bought one the other day. Phone is ok, but the screen is terrible. Worst screen I have seen in a phone for a looooooong time. The 1g N500 MTN is the only good side of the phone.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday charged government agencies to harmonise the collection and usage of biometric data instead of replicating efforts.

Government organizations that collect biometric data include the National Population Commission, National Identity Management Commission, Federal Road Safety Commission, and Independent National Electoral Commission, among others.
Buhari wondered why each agency would gather its own biometric data, when such data could easily be shared.
“It will be more cost effective if you work together. It helps even the credibility of the election process, as Nigerians of voting age can be identified easily’’, he said.
Buhari added that all the agencies should work collaboratively, instead of going in different directions, stressing that adequate data was necessary for planning and development in any country.
Duruiheoma had briefed the President on what would be required for the commission to conduct national census 2016, 10 years after the last exercise, as stipulated by the United Nations.
A national population census, the chairman said, would cost about N273 billion, while about N10 billion of the amount would be needed immediately.
He told the President that a biometric-based census was being proposed because it would eliminate multiple and ghost respondents, while making the outcome easy to audit.
