Actually, Huawei is not unknown, but it is known for the wrong reasons. Her phones are fine out of the box, but not much thereafter. Updates are haphazard if you get them at all and since they don't release their source, there is virtually no development. No custom rom, no cyanogen, nothing.

That's my advise to everyone who wants to buy a fairly used TV or indeed any TV at all. There is actually a large used TV market at Alaba and you will find different sizes and models at various prices, fully tested. I know some people will suggest that you don't go to Alaba as if the sellers there are some kind of extraterrestrials. Alaba is no more dangerous than your average electronics market. Just avoid the touts, and check what you are buying very carefully.

After getting cheated by this guy, I eventually went to Alaba myself and I bought a 60" Samsung Smart TV that has been working like a champ in the last one and half years. They don't bite people at Alaba, go there if you have the time and keep your eyes and ears opened. If you are buying from this guy, you are taking some serious risk, it might turn out well, but when it does not, you will find yourself holding the shorter end of the stick since your money would already be in his pocket.

Me I am planning to buy 3 tvs. 35 LED tvs and 2 of 12-15 inches Led/Lcd, my budget around 60 seems to only cover 35 LCD but I have preferred LED and that won't stop me from patronising acunon, so cry!!
