Alright Sir, keep us informed about your progress. One small thing however. The gold standard of scientific inquiry is to share with the community so that your findings can be interrogated and reproduced if possible. While there is a danger that your research may get stolen if publicized early, delay also has its own side effects. You are not the only researcher and for what you know many others may be working on the same thing as you and recognition only goes to the first man to make their findings public.

Many ppl call us bulksms providers complaining that they no longer receive sms from their churches or associations... When we tell them that they activated DND, they say they didn't and don't even know what DND is about... It's causing many ppl to miss out from important information.
If it's only the ppl that opted in for DND that don't receive BulkSMS, it's fine and ok of which I love that... But for ppl to be automatically blocked is what I am fighting for. Thank you.

No one is automatically added. Don't believe bullshit. What is possible is in that in activating the DND, many people did not know that it will block bulk sms. But MTN has a nice website where you can chose what to block and what to allow.

I made a custom twrp recovery. However, the recovery was upside down and touch wasn't working. I don't know what I did wrong. I was however able to use a mouse (through an otg cable connected to the phone) to run the recovery and flash the latest supersu.

Well, I eventually rooted the device, but it was not easy.

I very much doubt it. These local companies (Gionee, Infinix, Tecno, Innjoo etc) treat their phones like appliances. You are lucky if you get a few bug fixes. Major update? Not likely to happen. By the way, I have phones with LP, MM and Nougat. I'm not sure the differences are anything major.

If you follow that link, you will notice that one is supposed to download the TWRP specific to devices on a page. Sadly, Gionee M5 Plus is not on the list. So, this is actually a dead end. It is one of the links I found earlier with google search.

Well, the weather is a bit cloudy now and have you washed your panel lately, maybe it is dusty, though that shouldn't be a serious problem in the rainy season.

With the Chinese solar panels, you should not expect getting more than about 60-70% of rated power. So, 150-180W is what you will see on good days and much lower on bad days. This is assuming that your installation was properly done.
