Protestants enslave themselves to a book- the Bible- The (written) word of God. Roman Catholics enslave themselves to diverse kinds of graven images and statues. Hallelujah!!! |
pesty100: The purpose of this thread isn't to ask for the source but the source of the source itselfThat would be infinite, impossible to determine. If the source has a source, and the other source has another source and another and another.....till infinity, then the source will never stop hence it would be a complete waste of time and effort trying to find the first source/cause. It is like trying to add up all positive numbers from one to infinity and expecting to get an answer, a definite one. Till date, science has not provided us with the source of the cause of the big bang. It just assumed those things were and told us how they probably happened to form the universe. |
Atheists...spending all their time talking about what doesn't exist. If He (God) 'doesn't exist,' and you know he doesn't, so why 'kill yourselves' over it at all times. Thanks for the mention Sir-- Kingk. |

Celepope: Op point of correctionForbes reports that Oprah Winfrey has a net worth of $2.9bn and Isabel Dos Santos has a net worth of $3.7bn. Mind you, they are 'black' people...I've not mentioned the 'whites.' So, how's she the richest? |

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:20). Jesus is everywhere people are gathered in His name. He's always with His people so He's anywhere they're assembled. "...I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." (Hebrews 13:5). |
Started (fully) at 16. I learnt at age 14 for twelve consecutive days. |
Ubenedictus: you didn't even answers my question. The same that commissioned the Apostle Paul. ....and you haven't still shown how his teachings contradict what Christ and the Apostles taught. |
Ubenedictus: this is interesting, so Jesus called Kumuyi and asked him to form another denomination that teaches and practices different and contradictory doctrines from others? Rich4god: lol... Keep shooting yourself in the leg. WhenWhat is taught is perfectly in line with what Christ and the Apostles taught. Unless you want to prove otherwise. |
italo: Good. So we agree that the Christian Church has always been an organization with a physical hierarchy. Right?Who assigned Kumuyi? The same person that appointed Paul to office. italo: Are you saying deeper life has the characteristics mentioned in the letter of St. Ignatius? No. That's not a lie. |

italo: 1. You're flat wrong! The church, the assembly of Christians has always being an organization. That is why it had a heirachy, a council, apostolic succession by laying of hands etc.'Some organization or building' in the context of my statement may refer to 'denominations,' if that would aid comprehension. There's no denomination in the universal Church, the assembly of Christians, and the Church is not a denomination. italo:The catholic church, in its true meaning--universal. Deeper life is not outside the catholic church. |
sicobamty2: Where can I get unilag admission requirementwww.unilag.edu.ng/pages.php?page=unilag-admission-requirements That's a direct link to the admission requirements page on the school's website. |

The Church is and has always been the assembly of Christians not some organisation or building. ..and the Church is Catholic (in its true meaning as St. Ignatius described it)- universal. |

Educated Nigerians and ignorance. Acting on an unconfirmed news (about Ebola) has recorded more casualties in less than a day than Ebola itself has in about a month. So pathetic. RIP--to the ones who have lost their lives. |
