I dare you to mention your church. Maybe We want to join.
why are you ashamed of your church? cheesy thats not good.Lmao
Whenever you shy away from this question, it makes my day

Talk is cheap.mtcheew

No, talk is FREE....and that's why you go about asking everyone that tells the RCC biblical truth which they speak contrary to....eg (there is one mediator between God and man).....'which church do you attend/tell us the name of your church' and you look for 'lame faults' (that are not doctrines/discipline) to question.

well, if you really want to know, let me give you a little assignment/task of finding out by yourself.

Go to your enclave and ask your brothers (I give you the permission)....or look through my posts.... I've mentioned it a couple of times in the past.

I hope you've now been answered.

POPE II: Where is the moderator to close this thread? Who is this one to say Catholicism must b reformed? Is it not an attack to the holy church?

Q: should the Rcc be reformed?

A: Yes!

Why?
Compare these.

Holy Spirit (in the Bible): There is one mediator....the man Christ Jesus.

RCC: Mary is co-mediatrix, Christians are mediators.

Holy Spirit: Christ Died for us....to redeem us.

RCC: Paul suffered for man's redemption....completing Christ's suffering for redemption, Mary is co-redeemer.
POPE II:
Who is this one to say Catholicism must b reformed?

Who are the(se) Roman Catholics to speak contrary to the Holy Spirit?

Yes, the RCC needs to be reformed- to agree with the Holy Spirit.
Religion / Re: A Thread To Pray For Roman Catholics And To Help Them To Reform by adsonstone: 9:09am On Jan 01, 2014
These roman catholics and their usual false claim of 'we gave the world the bible'.

--We gave you the bible, why bash us with it?-- (actual meaning)

.and when one says the truth and there is no hiding place/lies to put foward, they just ask that 'what is the name of your church?'....and when a reply is given and there's no criticism, they just 'shy' away in ignorance.

Well, as for me, I will not stop praying for the Roman Catholics.

per ipso:

Yes she reported

This settles virtually all.

A report is quite different from a request.

per ipso:
but what was the intention? It was simply for Christ to do something which makes it a request. If it was mere literally report why did she go to Jesus or is he the organizer or the groom, she already new what he could do.
So when you tell your father that your pocket money has finished are you just reporting or are intending for him to give you another pocket money? does it not make it a request Pls answer

You have answered your question already.

A report may have the intent of a request but still, it does not make it a request.

Jesus gave a proper response to her report...(I can imagine what the statement would look/sound like if it were in pigeon English).

....and of course, she told Jesus because she believes Jesus could help.

per ipso:

nor when Christ granted her request at the wedding feast even though it was not in his agenda

Regarding the bold:

It is quite humorous when Roman Catholics say Mary 'Requested' anything and not Reported to Jesus at the wedding at Cana.

Any honest one who understands English Language (much less one who has the Holy Spirit) will correctly tell that there was no request made to Jesus in that passage.

John 2:3-5

And the wine failing, the mother of Jesus
saith to him: They have no wine.

And Jesus saith to her: Woman, what is that
to me and to thee? my hour is not yet come.

His mother saith to the waiters: Whatsoever
he shall say to you, do ye.

How funny can it be when someone becomes a comedian by saying there's a request in the passage above.

For a while, I've been following this thread silently.

I can see the 'assumptions' and the RCC's line of argument.

Well, anyone is free to assume whatever he wants to...and assmptions are not necessarily right...infact, it is even more dangerous when the subject is of doctrine or of the Christian Faith because once the assumption is wrong/false, one would spend a lifetime believing a false doctrine (which may even have an adverse effect on the true ones) and passing on the false doctrines to the innocent ones in the generation to come.

4 Papal infallibilty: The pope is NOT
infallible in all ramifications
, he is only
infallible in matters on faith and morals
as regards to the church.

You are speaking contrary to what your brothers have said regarding the bold.

Your brothers here have said that the RCC did not talk about the Pope's infallibility position on matters outside faith and morals.

Make yourself clear.
Is bold your own position or the RCC's position?

Note:
RCC= Roman Catholic Church

mr ryon:
This means
that the church is forever shielded by
the holy spirit and can't make a mistake.
During the greatr commision, jesus
promised to be with the church till the
end of time and that the gates of hell
shall not prevail over the church. How
can the spirit of God be in the church
and allow the church make a mistake?

wouldn't christ be contradicting
himself? that's impossible!

I hope you have read what your brothers have written/said before you wrote the bold...

Eg: Paul suffered for man's redemption completing what is lacking in Christ's suffering for man's redemption.

Do you agree with this....or do you have a 'new/different position'?

...and of course, your brothers have refused to accept what they said - instead, they labeled it as my version of their teachings.

mr ryon:
As regards to the church's dark ages
and the sale of indulgence
, i'll soon
prove to you that those visibly corrupt
practices did not corrupt the church.

First things first.
Thank God you acknowledge that those practices are 'VISIBLY CORRUPT PRACTICES'....as your post said.

Now, do you agree that 'corrupt practices' are evil....or are corrupt practices 'Holy'?

is this the (new) way you and the RCC have devised to shy away from what you teach?

Calling your teaching and beliefs 'my version'.....

Thats dishonesty.

If you cant accept what you teach as yours, youre not worth calling on to defend them...as a matter of fact you dont even need to teach anything!
Religion / Re: Defend Catholic Teachings Here by adsonstone: 8:25pm On Dec 20, 2013
italo: Yes. The oldest way to argue against Catholic teaching is to argue against your own version of Catholic teaching.

is any of what I stated untrue?

If they are not, then why are you calling them my version of the RCC's teaching?

....these are simple facts about what you and the RCC teach that can be easily affirmed/verified.

Anyone who has an iota of truth/honesty in Him knows these things are true....and not my version of your teaching.

Enigma:

The bolded is all you need to tell anyone ---- unless you deliberately choose otherwise for some reason of your own. If people want alternative names, I suggest:

1. The Church of God
2. The Church of Christ
3. The Church of the Lord
4. The Christian Church

The first three are clearly in the Bible; the fourth is biblical.

Perfect!

In addition, I also suggest calling it 'The Synagogue' just like the one in Ephesus is called in the book of Acts... (not SCOAN).

Of course, when truth shows up, Lies and fraud fly out (through) the window. wink

Lies (and fraud) like:

Paul suffered for the redemption of mankind, completing Christ's suffering for redemption.

Men are mediators between God and men.....note, men are also co-redeemers.

*Use of graven images in worship is a holy thing, infact, it is inspired* shocked

God WILL save people outside Christ....especially the Muslims.

The 1000-year reign of Christ in which satan will have no power/influence (stated in revelation).....has started and it is still on
.

...and the greatest of all lies: the RCC is infallible (cannot teach error) ....but it taught all these things above.

....and many more lies (and fraud) that the RCC has been peddling.

These things show that the teaching that the RCC itself is infallible (cannot teach errors)....is a LIE.

italo:
You already agreed that saying the Bible was compiled in the 4th century by the Church in Rome is a clear teaching of faith.

You said I lied when I said the holy Spirit said Paul suffered to make up for what was lacking in the suffering of Christ.

You were wrong both times.

So your infallibility claim is a lie.

You don't need to merry-go-round.

Provide where I claimed infallibility in teachings on Faith (and morals).

If you can't, you have further shown that you are lying to have said I claimed infallibility in teaching on faith (and morals).

You showed what I claimed which is definitely not teaching faith and morals.

italo:
Please show me where I made the claim. You cannot.

2 Cor 1:6 tells us that men suffer for men's salvation.

I believe that.

You declared that Paul suffered for what's lacking in Christ's suffering for redemption.

You cannot deny.
Here is it again if you have forgotten.

italo:
Who said Paul completes what is lacking in the suffering of Christ (for redemption)? The
Holy Spirit, not Human traditions.

You and the RCC lied against the Holy Spirit (that He said the quote esp the bold above)...and try to deny saying such by saying:

italo:
Please show me where I made the claim. You cannot.

True or False?
Religion / Re: Defend Catholic Teachings Here by adsonstone: 3:10pm On Dec 10, 2013
italo: Going by the English meaning of "mediate," the Holy Spirit asks us all to mediate when he says we should pray to God and suffer for others.

It is of no use arguing with a 'christian' who disagrees with the Holy Spirit.....

....so,this will be my last comment on this mediator issue.

We know what a mediator does and who is one.

The Holy Spirit says we have ONE between God and man ie we can get to God only through him....and Jesus affirms that He is the way....and no one gets to God except through Him.

Christ is the only way.
Mary is NOT the way.
Francis is not.
You are not...neither am I.

No one can get to God through us....except Christ.

If you disagree, fight the Holy Spirit for declaring that there's only One mediator....or trouble Christ for saying the truth that He's the only way to God.

Or better still, slit your throat if you can't question them.

italo:
When you answer my questions, you'll find my answer.

i wonder why youre avoiding my questions....perhaps, because they will validate my point and reveal the truth.

your questions have the easiest answers.

Answer mine and I'll answer yours and even show proofs for my answers.
Religion / Re: Defend Catholic Teachings Here by adsonstone: 2:54pm On Dec 10, 2013
italo:

I never ever claimed that you taught such, yet you call me and the Catholic Church liars.

You have become really clueless and desperate.

Will you please show evidence of this?

you dont need to turn things upside down or start hiding again.

You have said the truth that I never taught that only people who believe as I do will be saved....It was only from your imagination.
Religion / Re: Defend Catholic Teachings Here by adsonstone: 2:39pm On Dec 10, 2013
italo:

I wasn't reaffirming anything.

I made a statement: Paul suffered to make up for what was lacking in the suffering of Christ.

You said: stop lying. Show me where the Holy spirit said that.

Yes or no.

Yes, you stated the purpose of that suffering in your previous post....which is 'suffering for redemption'

The bold: Are you sure?... or are you denying again (as usual)?

Of course you said Paul was suffering to complete Christ's sufferings for redemption.

True or false?
Religion / Re: Defend Catholic Teachings Here by adsonstone: 2:30pm On Dec 10, 2013
italo:
So again, is it a lie that you called me liar when
I said Paul suffered to make up for what is
lacking in Christ's suffering?
I really want to know who's the liar here.

Now we'll catch the liar again.

Italo said:

italo:
Who said Paul completes what is lacking in the
suffering of Christ (for redemption)? The Holy
Spirit, not Human traditions.

Here, he clearly says Paul completes Christ's suffering for redemption.

Adsonstone replied;

adsonstone:
Regarding the second, I am dissapointed in you
as a Christian.
You mean Christ's sacrfice was incomplete and
Paul had to complete it?!

Adsonstone replied based on Italo's claim that says Paul completes Christ's suffering of redemption for Mankind.....a false claim which I duly pointed out that he wasn't suffering for redemption.

Italo reaffirmed the false claim that Paul completes Christ's suffering for redemption.

italo:
Paul suffers to make up for what is lacking in
the suffering of Christ.'--The Holy Spirit

....and He quoted a verse that says Paul suffers for Men's salvation not Redemption as He claimed.

italo:
Col 1:24 I now rejoice in my sufferings for you,
and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the
afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body,
which is the church

Now, I disagree....and request a bible verse affirming his claim.....and I'm still waiting.

....Now, Italo thinks I'm the liar.

SMH for liars.
Religion / Re: Defend Catholic Teachings Here by adsonstone: 1:14pm On Dec 10, 2013
italo:

Here's your claim of infallibility.

So how come you were wrong in teaching that the deuterocanonicals were scripture?

How come you were wrong when you called me liar for saying the Holy Spirit said Paul suffers to make up for what is lacking in the suffering of Christ?

grin

You're just one of those who lie in the name of the Holy Spirit, arent you?

italo:
..... or are you always right when
you teach and interpret scripture?

adsonstone:
The bold is corect because I have (and will
always have) the Holy Spirit who guides me.

Adsonstone claims that he can't be wrong in teaching and interpreting scripture (not Faith and Morals as italo falsely alleged) as long as the Holy Spirit guides him.

Talking about 4th century bible isn't interpreting scripture neither is it teaching it....at least, to anyone who has an iota of honesty which RCC members have shown not to have.

Talking about Paul's suffering, Italo claimed Paul suffers for mankind's redemption which was lacking in Christ's suffering and Adsonstone bluntly disagreed.

....Which is true; Paul never suffered for mankind's redemption.
Religion / Re: Defend Catholic Teachings Here by adsonstone: 1:02pm On Dec 10, 2013

What do you mean by "mediator?"

2. God alone is divine

3. God alone is holy

4. God alone is good

5. Jesus alone is shepherd

6. Jesus alone is rock
