Finally, IQAS evaluation is out... Bachelor of Law evaluated as First Professional University degree attracts same points as a Masters degree!!!

Timeline below!!
I submitted my application on 14 May 2021
Applied for transcripts on 15th May 2021
Transcripts sent by university on 25th May 2021 via courier delivery (DHL)
Transcripts delivered by DHL on the 1st June 2021
Application Received and Status changed to "pending for transcripts" on 15th june 2021
Status changed to " inline for processing" on 26th july 2021
Status changed to " final review" on 27th july 2021
Status remained " final review" but status date was updated on 10th august 2021.
Since I noticed the status date had changed, I suspected it must have been concluded even though it's not fluctuating yet..so I did the fluctuations stuff and behold, I got the certificate.

Hello house, I love the support system here, I have been following this thread for a while now but I officially want to start this journey. I have evaluated my MSc certificate with WES, and my ielts result just came out with overall 7.5 LSRW 7.5,7.5,7.5,7. I am confused on either to remark or rewrite the exam. I am also considering the provincial nominee route too. Hubby will also be writing ielts next month, but I need general advice.

It's possible ..

For I see a violation of international Law in Kanu's arrest .

Only issue here is that Kanu has dual citizenship.

The only violation here might be d circumstances in which he was repatriated or arrested in Kenya to Nigeria which maybe illegal and violation of human right

but on the issue of his Trial or whether he can be returned to nigeria, Yes... because he is a citizen and national of Nigeria irrespective of whether he holds the passport of Nigeria at that period. passport is only but a procedural issue which cannot defeat criminality in its entirety

Whether he can seek consular services from Uk, UK can make a either decide whether or not to make a request for such but Nigeria can either refuse or accept this is because of his dual citizenship in line with Art 4 of Convention on certain questions relating to conflict of Nationality which states

A State may not afford diplomatic protection to one of its national against a State whose nationality such person also possesses

And inline with Customary International law practice because he is a citizen of Nigeria citizen, Nigeria can trial him with their laws and refuse the request of UK

Also British government has stated in A guide' published in 2011, which states that: "If you are a dual British national in a third country (that is, a country of which you are not a national), we will offer you our full support. If you are a dual British national in the country of your other nationality, we would not normally offer you support or get involved in dealings between you and the authorities of that state. We may make an exception to this rule if, having looked at the circumstances of the case, we consider that you are particularly vulnerable".

This therefore means they would not offer consular services and the only remedy is that if UK believes the trial in Nigeria does not follow due process or there exist several violation of human right against the person of Nnamdi Kanu durinf trial they may decide to raise international concerns through the United Nation authorities

This is from IRCC website. Some applicants usually don’t pay the RPRF upfront because they believe the request for RPRF means their files have been approved and so wait for PPR. We are all aware that IRCC deviates from their standard procedures every now and then.
You can’t beat your chest over a “fact” that was based on circumstances or the visa officer’s decision.
There’s no right or wrong in this express entry procedure. So as not to lead other applicants astray, its best to put out there all possibilities that can happen during the processing.

POF can not be requested after eligibility passed. True
POF can be requested at any stage of the application. True

Let’s not be debunking info based on our sole finding. And the screenshot from getgcms is also speculation.

You have time arguing with him...even if it is possible they may not check, it is proper and wise that you advise people to be on the safer side than on the edge....like the one I posted he passed several stages and was still refused after because of the shortage on proof of fund

1.If i convert my existing pof to USD, do i need to inform IRCC even though eligibilty has been passed?

2. Will IRCC not frown at the new dom account since the rule is that the funds should have stayed in the account for six months?

Please inform before u do anything...
The law is that the funds be available in that account from the begining of assessment till the end...I know one who was reject much later after a year because the funds was not up to the required amount at d final assessment, he removed part of the money after he had submitted his application

No this only means the application that was received in the last week will be completed before December (d normal 6months for completion because most of them are applications with persons already in canada)

Hello guys, I have checked the search bar and couldn’t find a straight forward answer to my question.

When evaluating a law-degree with WES, what certificates should be sent in other to get “two or more” degree equivalence . I know IQAS gives a masters degree equivalence but from my findings, their processing timeline is too long and it’s just too much wahala to pay.
So I don’t mind using WES.
Please help. Asking for a friend.

For wes both your llb ND lawschool certificate... if you intend to process lawschool certificate fast send me a message I can send u a contact

But IQAs processing time is abit better now from the look of things

Please has any lawyer used CES recently?? I'm tired of waiting for IQAS, I have not been able to submit my application for months now due to daily limit.

I still have application with CES.....they told me 25-30 weeks cos I sent via DHL but if u send via email 15-20 weeks..

IQAS is now okay, just try to send via email people now get within 10weeks but their normal processing time is 15weeks.

I am a lawyer also

WES contacted me that about a month ago that my evaluation has been put on hold because none of my institutions, NOUN and Ibadan Polytechnic are responding to the email they sent to them as regards credential verification. All these schools have to do is respond to the email WES sent to them. And I've called the numbers I found online, none of them went through. Please help a sister

You need to look for an insider in both schools....Nigerian institutions are lazy and nonchalant they will just leave it like that unattended to... Better still I advise you go to the schools and find out the person incharge of verification.

If you decide to go please note down the date you think wes sent the verification cos ur school might need it to trace d email..

Some schools also put fees for verification, so also find out if both schools does so u can be prepared.

I just want to clarify if I should have sent my certificate as well, or if I'd be needing it at any point because I did not upload it at all.Thanks.

Normally certificate are meant to be uploaded directly by u online but if u say ur evalution was completed with it then maybe it was not needed by WES

You school sends copy of your transcript alone via their official mail... u can upload scanned copy of your certificate directly on the website.

Please I need advice. I just got a re-medical instruction on my profile to be done in the next 30days.

The problem is that my medicals are still valid. My AOR is OCT 15, 2020. I did my upfront medicals on OCT 08, 2020 and passed my medicals on Nov 26, 2020. I still have about 5months to expiry.

I’m confused as what action to take. Kindly advise please.

Anyone with a similar issue?

You don't have anything to loose going for re medical, please go do it fast as possible
