My roommate comes from a fairly wealthy family. So when my roommate found a girl he fell in love with, even though she was from a poor family, they embraced the relationship. The family took it upon themselves to sponsor the girl through university. Throughout the guy's stay at the University, he never looked at any other girl. The lady was admired into LASU, all through the efforts of my guy.
After the girl graduated, my guy decided to do his masters degree, so the family decided that the lady should go to London and await their son, who would complete his master's in less than two years. Omo the whole family was shocked when after less than a year of living in my friends uncle's house in London, she moved out. When they were able to reach her and ask her why she moved out, she said she cannot marry their son again because her pastor in her church said their son is not her husband, and that God has chosen another husband for her. See begging and pleading, my friends cousin in the same university travelled to London to beg this girl, she remained adamant. At the end of the day, everyone gave up. My friend never remained the same again. He left school and refused to leave his mother's house for a full year. At the end of the day, the mother sent him to America to try and rehabilitate him.

There are numerous other cases I have been oppotuned to be close to of ladies using marriage as a bait for guys sponsoring them to university and then dumping them immidiately they finish. One guy i met through a Hausa friend was looking for an assassin to kill the girl he sponsored to university and then ran away to marry another person. Me and my friend had to talk him out of it.

It poetic justice when courts make ladies pay for using marriage for defrauding guys.

From the story, I believe the issue is a promise to marry - I didn't bring it in. If she had broken it off for a good reason (e.g., he is a thief or he's a rapist), no restitution order would have been made.

Actually, it's the marriage proposal. You can sue in common law if it's broken off without a good reason. If the court finds in your favour, it is that based on that finding that the court will award you damages either to recover what you lost or your time that was wasted.

The Word praise in your Bible translatio in that verse John 5 vs 41 is wrongly translated.. the closest to the original translation of the Hebrew and Greek lexicon is the OLD KING JAMES TRANSLATION

the Word in that verse "praise" in your translation, in the original Greek lexicon it is "δόξα" which really means repute, honour, glory, opinion, estimate

So it the context of what Jesus was addressing,, He was talking in relationship to honor, how that He receives His honor, estimation from God, of which God spoke severally telling the people
"THIS IS MY BELIEVE SON, IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED, HEAR YE HIM"
meaning what they say about Him doesn't count but what God says about Him, How God estimates Him that counts....

Also in the 44th verse according to YOUR TRANSLATION

Please is it possible for one to travel to Uk like first week of February with a Nigerian Passport due to expire in March, 2023? Though new passport is in processing but was told it could take upto 6 weeks before it’ll be ready.

In as much as immorality is wrong, the blame of rapid degeneration of morals in our society shouldn't be on the girl alone, men should be blamed as well.

1. My sponsor wrote N for my maintenance fee but after talking to them, they now amend my COS and write in the sponsors note that 'maintenance for migrant Yes'. I hope if I tick Yes in the column for maintenance, it will not be an issue with the ECO.

2. With the YES in the maintenance do I still need to provide POF for my dependants (wife and children)?

3. I noticed that when I filled the VISA form and make payments I did not get GWF number but UAN number, though my Bio is in next week, I hope I am still on track?

4. Can I proceed with application for my wife and children in Nigeria now or I should wait till my VISA is out?

Thanks for your response.The age of the kids are 14,12 and 8 presently.two of them are in secondary school, while one is in primary school,in this case,if we get admission for them in uk secondary and primary school respectively will Uk embassy grant them student visa without minding these their age?
