manmustwac: You haven't won yet

Muskeeto's thread is just replacing AKO's thread called the "Religion Section Library Thread" that you destickied. His thread has nothing to do atheism. It just happened to be started by an atheist.

@logic boy
Yes i did promise to sticky your topic but i said you should give me a month to see if it still remains on the religion homepage not two weeks. So you got to wait till the the 1st of Feb if my memory is correct. Besides am going to go through every page of it later today and am not happy that my co mod disagrees with it we may have to come up with some agreement coz i don't want to end up stickying it against her will but i may have to

@JeSouL
It would have been better if you would have just ignore the post directed to me by logic boy and just reply me with a PM or leave a message in the moderator section chatroom. Likewise i should have asked your opinion before replying logic boy'S request in the first place. This is what happens when we don't communicate with each other and we both work as individuals. Remember Mudley313? smiley

@all
The reason am a mod here is to make sure both sides of the scales stay balanced. The religion section is for all who want to discuss about religion or related to religion. Okay man must wack now. Will be back later wink
See atheistic intelligence. Direct to the point. No godly threat of ban or haughty warnings because a question was asked.

My respect for you have just upped an inch and you have confirmed that a "lap dog" is the opposite of your name.

You guys dont believe in the God of the religions, then maintain your swagger.
are you sure? how can an atheist moderate a "religious" section full of believers? Or is my mind playing tricks on me again?

Mr Okey, abeg forget degrees and PHD. Nigerians are good at acquiring all sorts of useless certificates. It means nothing. Do you know that Iraq had 99% literacy rate before the war? So yeye diplomas means nothing.

I have demostrated the evils of religion. I am aware that I have to lower my IQ and speak to you like you were 6 years old before I start making sense to you, but zig-zagging my IQ for the sake of indoctrinated morons just gives me unwanted headaches.

Another way of putting my argument is to say that religion is not doing us any good, where the onus is now on you to provide proof of what good religion has done us.

I say it once more, despite all our religiousness (and degrees and certificates), we have not invented a single technology. NOT ONE. Even the cherished religion self, we did not invent.

Calling him a mad mad was an euphemism because what he is suffering from is beyond madness. At least mad people could be cured.

Is manmustwac Jesoul's lap dog? How can you allow Jesoul to overule you on this forum?

@ Jesoul, your argument would require that you put the praise-him-today thread in Muskeeto's thread instead of stickie. If you don't, then you are a hypocrite. Oh, you already know that? OK, then.

okeyxyz: Bros!! You dey fall hand seriously. I expect a good argument from you and you throw-up this picture used to incite "drones" who cannot think for themselves?
Since when did the office of president nullify the christianity of jonathan? Does your secular office\job nullify your believe in satan? Is it not true that you practice your satanism either in your privacy or the in congregation of fellow satanists? So why can't Jonathan subject himself to his christainity either in his privacy or in the congregation of fellow christians. Jonathan is president of Nigeria, not president of RCCG. As far as christianity is concerned, Jonathan is simply a mere servant and subject to same treatment as fellow servants in christianity and Adeboye is supreme leader over him.

If you cannot grasp this simple logic(A secular logic for that matter), I may have to stop seeking your opinions any further. How can you fail to see that jonathan plays different roles in different life scenarios? In his private life, your president is probably ruled and dominated by his wife or girlfriend who "slaps" him around, To his son, his is just a dad, to his mom(if she's still alive) he'd alway be her baby, etc. But here you are trying to usurp all human freedoms and functions by the one single "office of the presidency". Please remind me again: what's the meaning of evil??
Chai! I wasn't expecting that. That photo really had you going. However you made a very important point: "and Adeboye is supreme leader over him."
This answer shows you the harm of religion to our country. You are right, his private life may also be harming the country but it is "irrelevant" in that it concerns him only and he doesn't indulge in orgy with 150 million nigerians as he does in his religious life. I do grasp your secular logic. You are the one that is misunderstanding it. Personal and private beliefs should be personal and private.

That photo is an attack on human psychology. If a mad man can dominate your leader like that, what hope do the rest of us have?

Anyway to answer your questions, religion means abandonning your responsibilities to a being whose existence can only be proven in your imagination. Religion means putting a stop to the use of one's brains and mental faculties to the betterment of oneself because it doesn't matter what you do or not do, only god's will can be done. This is why there is no single technology nigeria has ever invented. We have become perpetual slaves, both physically and mentally.

Tell me what GEJ achieved by wasting 4 hours kneeling in front of a deranged man?

It is harmful, it is foolish and it is evil.

Evil is conciously doing something that would cause another to unnecessary harm.

Christianity Etc › Re: If U Are Observant..... by advocate666: 9:30am On Jan 22, 2013
okeyxyz: What are these harms that you talk about? Can you enlist and briefly describe them so we can see if such "harms" are an exclusively or essentially "churchy" phenomenon? Already some "drone"(@logicboy) is applauding you when you have actually said nothing in particular. You use very vague and abstract words like harm, evil, foolishness, suffering but fail to demonstrate how they are products of churches.
I will answer your questions.

But first take a close look and tell me what, if anything, is wrong with this photo.

Goshen360: My brother, kindly pick up a concordance and check the meaning of 'silence' in Paul's words and also check the meaning of 'he (Paul) do not suffer a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man. Paul wasn't discriminating, we need to understand what he said and tightly divide the word.
When Paul said "silence", he didn't mean "silence".
When he said "do not speak", he didn't mean "you should not speak".
When he said "woman", what me meant was far from "woman"

Paul was talking about love, tithe, god, Jizz-Us, angels, heaven, brotherhood etc. Anything you can think of except what he was actually saying. Be warned!

holysmoke: If you'd notice I did try to make it clear that while America appears to be the issue the implication is far reaching. There's an ongoing war of cultures & perspectives. I have tried to be circumspect but the discerning mind will understand what I'm talking about. I'll not be surprised if you don't . Your name does speak of a diabolical leaning. whether it's borne out of cynical humor or an avowed commitment to the sinister is what I can't tell. whichever be the case, I pray you don't reap the proceeds of such ill informed ideas.
Well, it was far reaching implications that brought the middle eastern religions to your village in the first place. So I'm not surprised that you'd be interested in the evolution of this religion. Whether this interest is born out of slave mentality or frustration of your present situation is what I can't tell. However rest assured that Satan, the giver of knowledge, will conquer in the end.

Crime › Re: An Evil Woman From The East Did Something Bad To Me by advocate666: 8:58pm On Jan 21, 2013
thelonestranger: A woman from a particular part of this country did a sad thing to me . Knowing that I am a market JJC she sold me a large bag of Semovita at an inflated price. As this was not enough when i got home I found that the product was expired, the bag was also damaged and had been carefully taped with selotape,. As a consequence, the product was full of insects inside. In fact it is not possible to tell whether there was nothing else in the bag apart from the bag other than the inedible oxygenated product. I was not one to go back to create a fuss, so I took my disappointed family out to lunch elsewhere , since I could very well afford that. But my curse remained in my mind for this evil woman who I am sure will perish in her poverty. Just imagine selling this sort of thing as food for someone. I could very well have lost my entire family as a consequence. I have long stopped buying things from people from this part of the country , especially motor parts and electrical stuff, and especially medicine. They don't seem to care about human life at all which is so bad.Haba. God go punish this woman and her family.
After reading this testimony, a question cropped into my mind: "is thelonestarnger a mumu, a Yoruba, or both?"
