@4Play/ Iman, As usual trying to hide your stupidity with insults and grammar, I guess you are a cursed being. |
Paste the complete information you see when you want to view the source of the relevant pages. Your codes may be perfect but without seeing how they interact with html it is impossible to pinpoint the issue you are having right now. |
Try your luck man. Good luck. God help you real good. |
I believe that the WEST contributed to the problems of the opposition leader by their double standards and hypocrisy in its handling of world issues. Zimbabwe was once a beautiful place even for the WEST and the whites who originally seized lands belonging to black Africans. During that time nobody complained about Mugabe and in fact until Blair came to power Britain never had issues with Mugabe. So, what went wrong? We need to know what went wrong and possibly seeks ways to understand it and of course make sure it does not happen any where else in Africa. The moment seized lands where returned to their rightful owners all hell let loose and the WEST decided that Mugabe would leave at all cost. The opposition leader in my opinion will be a puppet of the WEST after all the WEST supports him and the WEST never gets into businesses without profits even if such profits are smeared with blood of innocent people. Check out Iraq to confirm this. |
Post the complete code on the page in question. |
Thanks again for your advice. Stop listing websites designed by others as yours, it is criminal to do so. |
And who says that questions asked by a hypocrite should be answered? Answer these questions and she will come up with others, there is usually no end in sight when dealing with such clowns unless of course you think like her. |
I think I agree with you on that. Just look at the man in the mirror. |
Una still get time to respond to the likes of kobojunkie? She is clueless and is fund of making very bogus claims and remains a die hard supporter of anything US and of course a hypocrite of the highest order. |
Pastor PLC:Lies. This forum was not running as at the time Iraq invaded Kuwait so there was no way you could have known whether we condemned the invasion or not. Pastor PLC:What you heard is the truth my brother, the US came to rescue Kuwait because of oil. Or, do you want Bush Senior to personally tell you that before you will believe this open secret? Guy, I believe your blind love for the US is making you see ghosts. |
Try to make sure that on every single page that you have php codes that nothing (absolutely nothing, including blank spaces or lines) is sent to the browser. |
@webemerald, Act humble? Why? The point is that you have a very short memory because the last time I checked you were the one that was insulting me on a post that had nothing to do with you and I chose to ignore you then. Were you not the same person asking me to build an inverter for your business? I know how to separate issues from personalities otherwise I would have told you I wouldn't do anything for you. You see, I am not like you. Point of correction, 4 are live but only one was developed by you and that is a fact. Listing websites fully developed by others on your portfolio page is criminal. Attack you? Based on what? Did I lie? I responded to your comments and my responses were in order and based on facts. About my portfolio, I don't have any portfolio page because I removed it when the list was getting rather long and I also realized that it was not my business to advertise my clients websites. |
@webemerald, Thanks for the advice, no wonder only 1 out of the 9 you listed is actually live and functional. Good luck as you make all the money in the world developing websites worth hundreds of thousands or even millions of naira. That is the essence of my post, if you spend more energy developing websites than in looking for someone to run down you will be more productive, believe me Nigerians are dying to get functional and useful websites for personal use or for business, use your time wisely. One more thing, I didn't go to your website to look for errors, I went there to see what you have done before so I can ask you to help me design better websites as I had believed that you were fantastic based on your comments. I guess I was wrong. Enjoy the week ahead. |
4 Play:And the de facto leader of the pro-American gang aka "I love US pass my life" has "spoken". |
OmniPotens:It is not about victories, it is about exposing one's inconsistency and hypocrisy. OmniPotens:The same logic behind using usernames and passwords to access restricted information is used here, this time with either names, exam numbers or any other parameter and a passcode which may be regular password or number etc. If you can create a user restricted page then you can create the script. The bottomline is that information will be retrieved based on any set of parameters you choose to filter the information. Hope this makes sense. Enjoy! |
yawa-ti-de:Typical Nigerian hypocrite, say one thing, do another. And when exposed they either avoid the issue or turn to insults. I am cool to know that you consider what you do incest and in-breeding. Next time think well before putting down your thoughts on a public forum. |
Orimili:Yes we know. It was about vegetable oil. Next topic pls? |

Nairaland. What goes around comes around. Interesting. |
@yawa-ti-de, "Continuing this tomorrow" meant I didn't have the time to do a reply, I am not fighting with you as there is no reason to. The point has been made. You also suffer from in-breeding and you have agreed that your style is incest. This was what I wanted to clarify as the inconsistency has been exposed. @topic, I guess solutions have been provided to the guy needing help. It all depends on what is agreeable between him and anyone willing to provide the script. |
Hello, We shall continue this tomorrow. Sharing knowledge is not exactly the same thing as collaboration, mind you. |
@yawa-ti-de, Thanks for your reply. I have confirmed what I needed to confirm. No, my question had nothing to do with your capabilities neither was I asking you to display it here. Rather, it was to bring out the inconsistency in your positions as regards one person doing web projects. On another thread you used the word incest to describe the idea of one person doing a web project. Now, you have done this over and over again. Why you? Why one person? Why not a team? Why not get a database expert, web design expert, a tester, ok you do the coding, get a project manager and of course an interface guy so that you could develop the project? I would want to believe that the reason you were able to do it yourself (correct me if I am wrong) is that you understood the different aspect to the extent you could handle it. Knowledge is there for anyone that wants it. People should not be insulted or criticized for doing things they know how to do. Like I stated, my question was not about your capabilities, in fact I admire people that learn a lot of things. I am a chemical engineer with process engineering experience yet I run www.justwebservices.com alone and www.justalternativepower.com with about 4 people and these businesses are doing well. I chose to say bye bye to paid employment after having short but memorable stints at 2 multinational oil companies in the world and I do not have any regrets whatsoever. My point is this, it is not a crime for someone to know enough to do what 2, 3 or 4 people could have done. Good luck. |
yawa-ti-de:You have done it several times? Could you confirm that you have done this several times. Your response will go a long way in addressing an important issue here on this forum. |
@webemerald, My mistake for not clearly separating the issues I raised as I took the opportunity to address similar comments (especially the bragging part) from some of us on this forum and those that are guilty of this know themselves. I also appreciate and respect people who air their views whether negative or positive. Do have a good weekend and correct some of the mistakes on your portfolio page, your design (on your website) is very ok and I don't see why you cannot do same for clients. And do not listen to people that talk about making big money from big projects all the time, if you wait for such big money from big projects you will not go far. Every story has a beginning, good luck and stay blessed. |
I always try as much as possible not to castigate other people in life. On this topic I agree that the quality of work could be a lot better. But subsequent comments from the originator prompted me to visit his website and especially the portfolio page. With all due respect if I was looking for a web designer to handle some web projects I would certainly not consider the originator for the following reasons 1. Out of the 9 projects listed on his portfolio page only 1 is his actual live project (based on the powered by information at the footer area) 2. Most of the links point to non functional mock ups on his own domain, some with place holder content 3. At least 3 of the links have different web developers as those behind them with working links to the web developers sites. If the originator took part in any part of any project it should be clearly stated as anyone looking at a website with a powered by/designed by information pointing to a totally different website will certainly not be comfortable. Bottom line is this, when we criticize we should take things easy, when we condemn we should do so without insulting people. Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones at others and we should at least remove the log in our own eyes before complaining about the speck in someone else's eyes. My advice to the originator of this thread Go out there and develop websites for people, spend more time and energy developing web projects rather than running people down. webemerald:The content in bold really interests me because I believe that people will prefer to provide jobs to those they can trust and those they may have seen web projects developed by them. So, whether it is a must for someone to do all the jobs he/she gets is entirely a decision to be made by the person as the person will be held responsible for the project whether it is ok or not regardless of what people you bring in do. Sorry for the long post but I believe that part of the reason why a lot of us are not handling lots of projects is because we do not want to be realistic about life, many of us believe that bragging and running other people down remain the fastest way to establish credibility. Improve on your skills, be honest about what you know and what you don't know, trust God and the sky will be your limit. There are enough jobs to go round, in fact no single web developer (whether working alone or in a team of say 10) can handle 1% of the population in any part of Nigeria so there is absolutely no need to have the type of bad blood that currently exists where simple threads end up becoming avenues to brag about what one can do and/or how big or rich someone is. As they say to people who claim to be intelligent in secondary schools, "TELL IT TO JAMB" |
@josyisback, Check your mail quota, the reply to your email was rejected based on user exceeding the disk quota. Error 01373: User's Disk Quota Exceeded. @Negro_Ntns, And he is making a very bad job out of it, he never bothers to make comments based on facts, rather based on what he thinks or prefers. As for Bush I believe that is the end of that name in US politics thanks to the many avoidable blunders of George Bush. As for relevance the US is going down as more responsible countries are being listened to these days since we all cannot tolerate lies from the US president. |
If you have PHP and MySQL enabled on your server I can build the script for you. Send an email to afam@justwebservices.com and carefully list your requirements and functionalities including the information that may be stored and retrieved especially the parameters that would be used to retrieve information from whatever you want stored. Considering the fact that this is an existing project you will be required to pay N20,000.00 only and in 24hrs of accessing the money your script will be handed over to you. The script will be developed from scratch so as to accommodate any requirement you may have. |
ThePhantom:Ok, as long as it is not a case of changing copyright information. Can we have working links to those applications so we can see them? |
Pastor PLC:So, the decision to attack Iraq was that of Bush alone? Hmm, Nairaland no get part 2. Pastor PLC:Obviously you don't have a clue about what you put down there as IAEA was on ground and their reports till date were proven right when no single weapon of mass destruction was found in Iraq. As a matter of fact the US threatened to start the attack even while the inspectors were still in Iraq. Another "I love US pass my life" poster on the forum. |
Yar'adua keeps telling us that the future is interesting, I am indeed afraid. Maybe the supreme court may just help us out of this nonsense. |
naijaking1:True, very true, finally a good reason to bash OBJ. What was OBJ thinking? |
