Ikerre can fight for Africa and the fight is never complete without drawing any kind of knife. I've seen people given tatoos with cutlass. In Ikwerreland, if you quarell, you must fight. There's no such thing as "Na only quarell I wan quarell, I no wan fight".

What Abagworo has done here is not because he likes Igbos like he likes to claim burnt to set the defence of his boss in motion. He knows the president is a retard and will make silly decisions which will end up killing peaceful people. He will now tell us "Shebi I told you so". |

seunmsg: Even on a faceless forum like Nairaland, how many muslim have openly supported the message, actions and ideologies of boko haram? Close to 80% of ibo posters on social media actively supports and identify with IPOB. The elders and ordinary Muslim folks in North East have continued to dissociate and distance themselves from boko haram and their ideologies. They criticise them and call them non Muslims.
I never heard of IPOB before the national election, their activities suddenly picked after GEJ who was supported by almost all living Igbos lost the election. So, it's only reasonable to assume there is a political connection. Beside, the usual insults and unnecessary attacks by Igbos on the PMB government is also an indication that your people are all out to distabilise the current regime. To add to all these suspicion, a report just came in yesterday that Anyim Pius Anyim, a former SGF and a member of the PDP is actively sponsoring the group. So bro, the facts are glaring for any unbiased mind. The fact that you're comparing bokoharam to Ipob only leaves you as a bigot. These two groups are incomparable in any way. I'm not an Ipob supporter but their protests are largely peaceful. Some of you are just seeking to use the actions of a fewnwho could well be outsiders to give the group a bad name. Ride on. |

Politics › Re: Ndigbo: Before Its Too Late By Abagworo by Afam4eva(m): 7:07pm On Dec 02, 2015 |
Abagworo: Maiduguri and Northeast people are not in support of Boko Haram and are even fighting it alongside our army as civilian JTF. IPOB is presented as a unanimous decision of Ndigbo hence we cannot compare. For example here in Rivers State the natives say "make these Igbo people carry there matter go their land" . Already it is seen by Rivers people as an Igbo affair instead of seeing IPOB as miscreants or terrorists with base in Igboland.
During militancy here in South-South the militants were not part of the people hence the war was difficult for the military who needed to protect the majority innocent populace. They see IPOB as an Igbo thing. Remind me how Nigerians see bokoharam again? |
Politics › Re: Ndigbo: Before Its Too Late By Abagworo by Afam4eva(m): 6:53pm On Dec 02, 2015 |
Abagworo: If you are intelligent you will realise that Boko Haram is a terrorist group without ethnic or regional support but IPOB is presenting itself as an Igbo secessionist movement thereby making it a war between Igbos and the rest of Nigeria. Why burn mosques if its peaceful mivement? Do you think that if Kanuris declared war on Nigeria it would last this long? Isn't bokoharam parading itself as an Islamic movement. Maybe the government should start killing Muslims because of that. You should be ashamed of yourself for bringing politics ib to this matter. It's because of Igbos like yourself that we are where we are in the first place. |

Abagworo should have just said "I am a Buhari supporter" instead of writing an epistle. If what you wrote had come from someone else, I would have considered. But when a partisan person accuses someone else of being partisan, i usually ignore. |

ibadanfinest: Bros I said Uyo is in the south south. South South has no 'east word' in it. If u are referring to the old eastern region then delta state should not be in your analysis because the old bendel state(Ben for Benin while Del for delta) were part of the old western region before the formation of mid-west. Are u 12 years old, how can u call someone who legitimately correct u an illiterate. You must be one hell of an ingrate. You're still an illiterate for saying Uyo is not in the south east when I never mentioned South East in post. Is delta state another name for Uyo. How long have you been a. Illiterate? |

ekafine: you are the illiterate here because you cannot divorce a city which is a product of the state. In other words city or town is inside the state so all of them must be judged generally. This is the same mentality Africa is backward. Go and open your own thread and discuss illiteracy there. Dullard. |

ibadanfinest: OP UYO isn't in the south east, its south south, Owerri is neat and cool. I served there and stay at both Amakohia Infront of Mami and Chukwumwa Nwoha via Egbu or MCC road but Owerri is a civil servant state what do you expect when u have almost all the federal presence in a particular location, Futo fedponekede, Alvan ikoku, FMC, even state presence like IMSU. IMO poly is closer to Owerri that. it is to other town in its Local govt.
You can't compare it to Aba and Onitcha where people are making a living. Where they have companies. The both cities are dirty cos of the activities.
Students and corpers in Owerri are more than people actually living there
I will prefer Aba and Onitcha to one just civil servant city like Owerri. I said east, you said South East. Illiterates are easily decipherable. |

luvinhubby: The quarrel that legal personalities have with SNC is the word sovereign & i believe the sovereignty of Nigeria should not be querried by any confab, the question should be about HOW do we co-exist inside this sovereign nation & i believe that question was properly answered in the last confab. The south-south's agitation for resource control has already being answered by true fiscal federalism & no more need for any 25%. The issue of political will by the current APC regime made up of mainly progressives that canvassed for this speaks volumes of their sincerity. This is why we may never move forward as a nation because we always seem to know what people want more than they do. Why can't we have a confab thatvis no holds barred whereby people will decide their fate within or without Nigeria. We can't assume that everyone wants to remain in Nigeria. Anything and everything should be open for discussion. If not that we live in a wicked country, I don't see how states or regions managing their own resources should need a confab. |

Whether he lands or berths, it won't make any difference as Bayelsa is a PDP state. If Sylvabis destined to win, he will do so with or without the help of Tinubu. lets not forget the Ondo governorship election where Tinubu practically moved to Akure only for APC to be disgraced with third position. |
