PoliticsRe: Wada: I Won The Poll, Audu’s Votes Died With Him by Afam4eva(m): 10:25am On Nov 30, 2015
Acidosis:
Audu has not been declared a winner as of the time he died. What if he had withdrawn his candidature? Could one possibly call his friend or associate to take the position? NO.

There is a reason we have 2nd and 3rd Candidates. In a case where elections have been concluded and a winner has been declared, then we can honourably call on the deputy as we can no longer consider a concluded contest between 15 or more candidates.

Wada has a better case in Court than Yahaya Bello and Faleke.
When was Faleke selected as a deputy? Was it before or after the primaries?
PoliticsRe: Wada: I Won The Poll, Audu’s Votes Died With Him by Afam4eva(m): 10:12am On Nov 30, 2015
Acidosis:
Wada has as point. Failure of the 1st should ordinarily translate to crowing the second.

As far as the election is concerned, Wada holds the second position of all the over 15 participant in the election.

Let's all learn to apply both constitutional wisdom and commonsense.

I personally do not want WADA to rule for another 4 years, but frankly, he has a good case.

If Wada and Audu had died, we'd gladly call on the third leading candidate/party, AD or Labour Party.
Not when the first has a deputy. Is the deputy there for decoration? He's there to replace his oga incase of eventuality.
PoliticsRe: Wada: I Won The Poll, Audu’s Votes Died With Him by Afam4eva(m): 9:58am On Nov 30, 2015
Is this the guy that has been ruling kogi for 4 years? Even a street urchjn wouldn't make such a statement. Kogi is in trouble just like they've always been. Their state capital is the worst that I have ever been to. The present and past governors which include Wada and Audu have de-developed an already underdeveloped state. In a sane society, Wada will be rounded up, shot and buried beside Audu. This stupidity has to end. What effrontery.

Aba is the next place that must be made decent and habitable.
Aba looks like a place abandoned and still recovering from the civil war that ended in 1970. Not only has the town been abandoned, the people look depressed and strong faced. Aba needs a renaissance.

Abagworo:
Owerri streets are like that. The old part had pines at Okigwe Road which Rochas Okorocha Government removed recently for a reason I dont know but most of New Owerri is lined up with palms and pines. I guess human activities tend to kill the trees in the old densely populated parts like Douglas and Wetheral.
If Owerri streets were like that then I won't be here making such suggestion. I don't know when some of you will learn to accept the reality so that we can forge forward instead of always lying to yourselves. Kai.

Another thing that should be tackled in Owerri is the menace of Keke napep.there are more kekes than there arhukan beings in Owerri. We need an alternate form of transportation. Let's introduce the BUS system to Owerri.

TV/MoviesHollywood Actors Of African Origin And The British Connection by Afam4eva(op): 4:05pm On Nov 29, 2015
I can understand white British Actors being sort after in Hollywood to do the British accent in Romance or epic movies with British or European setting. What I don't understand is why most Black Actors of African origin are of British Nationality. Why are they sort after. It's not like they do the British accent in most of their movies. They're mostly called upon to act as a typical Africa American. Why not those with American background. What's special about the African Brits? Most of them were either born or have lived in Britain. The likes of Ejiofor, Oyelowo, Chikezie, Alozie, Idris Elba etc.

Just make sure you don't choose the option that allows the web host to debit that card when payment is due. Sometimes you don't even need to choose the option explicitly.

PoliticsRe: Igala People Of Kogi State Protesting.. by Afam4eva(m): 6:27pm On Nov 28, 2015
I have to give the Igala political elites as the most intolerant in the coubtry. How can a single tribe just seize power like the state only belongs to them. Let them take a cue from states like Delta and Cross river. If there's any justice in this world. Faleke should have been allowed to continue the mandate given to him and Audu. This is just crazy and stupid.
PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by Afam4eva(m):
One thing I hope Rochas or subsequent Imo governors should do is to line Owerri roads with trees. With the Lagos vibe that Owerri exudes, we need some sorta protection from the surging sun.

We also need to expand Owerri beyond its limits. Let thebnew Owerri extend to areas such as Obosimma in Ohaji and places like Ogbako. Owerri definitely has prospects. We just need to think bigger.

This your post is too myopic.

What can the Abia state government do about the longstanding demand for a seaport in the south-east?
You have not fixed ordinary roads in Aba and you're looking for seaport. Who's post is myopic now?

@op if I may ask you,who are the SO called igbo leaders? is it those one made by awusa/fulani(ahaneze)and impose them on igbo people? because am not aware of what your talking about,in Biafra power belong to the people not leaders
So, why don't we fight the so called leaders imposed by the Hausa/Fulani and impose our own leaders.
PoliticsRe: Igbos Need To Redirect Their Protests To Their Leaders by Afam4eva(op): 5:33am On Nov 28, 2015
Habakus:
My brother, you're missing the mark here. Igbos are simply saying that they prefer to pursue their progress as an independent nation which they can't successfully under this nation,Nigeria. It is not just a matter of bad governance or marginalization, rather, it's an ideology that comes from maturity and experience so far as Nigerians. Moreover, these Igbo leaders you want Igbos to protest against are being protected by the Nigerian system. You can't adequately hold them responsible when the already bad Nigerian system protects them.
If according to you, the Igbo leaders are being protected by the system then how come its the same system that is all powerful that you prefer to fight. Which would have been an easier battle?

PoliticsIgbos Need To Redirect Their Protests To Their Leaders by Afam4eva(op): 4:54pm On Nov 27, 2015
There is no gain saying that the Igbo nation has been dealth a heavy blow by the Nigerian nation and this blow has recorded massive success only because the Nigerian nation has received unconditional support from leaders from Igboland. I'm wondering how fast things will change if we channel some of the energy that we are using to fight the FG to actually fighting the people closest to us (Our leaders). These our so called leaders are having a field day as they are not pertubed the the problems facing the zone more than they are interested in their personal aggrandizement by acting as rubber stamp for the federal governmrny. I implore youths to channel their energy to these thieves who mean no good for us. I just got into Aba some 4 hours ago and I was wondering if there is a government in this state. This state gets monthly allocation, no matter how little. What are they doing with the money if all the roads in Aba are in pitiable condition. Let's deal with this mofos and they will take our message to their ogas in Abuja.
