Pukkah: Which ministries does she oversee and what's the reporting relationship between the Ministers of those Ministries and the President?

I'm not an insider, so i wouldn't know. The long and short of the story is that the finance minister have a bigger portfolio than other minissters.

Why is she being described as the 'de facto Prime Minister' when we have a President that's the Head of Government and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and a Vice President that acts in case the President is not available?

How did we come about this confusion?

Being called the coordinating minister is not just a title but a responsibility. Her responsibility far surpasses those of the other ministers as she's charged with the responsibility of overseeing other ministries in a monitoring capacity. Like i stated in my last comment, Nigerian presidents are more or less figure-heads and can be aptly described as "defact ceremonial presidents".

Ngwakwe: The Political Climate in Nigeria is highly polarised, moreover, economics of budgeting is not his forte as some disgruntled law makers may wish to challenge and expose his weaknesses during the presentation (by demanding facts and figures) in a bid to ridicule and render him unelected come 2015.

This is just a calculated risk which he thinks will favour him for now.

But don't you think we should be leaning towards having the likes of Okonjo Iweala as the substantive president because they understand the issues. It seems to me that the way our system is structured, the president is very similar to a ceremonial one with little understanding of how the economy functions. We need to technocratize our presidential system.

When you say someone is "De facto Prime minister", it's just meant to show that the role of that person is very similar to that of a real prime minister but the person is not constitutionally empowered to be a PM. It was exactly this comment of your that made me think you may not know the meaning.

Even though Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is the defacto prime minister of Nigeria, the President should have sent his vice, Namadi Sambo or is his vice also unavailable. Infact, i don't think this is something the president should miss except there's a cogent reason why he'll not be doing the presentation himself.

There are loads of storey buildings in residential parts of Enugu and Igboland in general and it's a good trend that should be maintained due to the limitations of land. This is something that's done in Cairo, Egypt to manage land. What Igboland needs is just some cosmetics to go with the building infrastructure. When that is done, cities like Aba, Onitsha and Nnewi will be a sight to behold.

Shouldn't you have a database of the questions and the answers such that it juxtaposes the user's answer to the correct and answer and assign a score and at the end, it does a calculation to arrive at the final score.

There's no mod on smf that tells people when they are quoted. The only feature is one that tells you when someone replies to a thread you opened or are subscribed to.
