If one has OND, HND, PGD & MBA will it be only the MBA that will be evaluated by WES and when filling the option in the FSW for education will I select the option of 2 or more degrees.

1. Yes, you only evaluate MBA since it's the highest educational qualification. No, MBA is equivalent to Masters Degree, so you select Masters, not 2 or more certificates, which gives even more points.

2. No, it doesn't. Those are Temporary resident applications while EE is a Permanent resident application. However, make sure you declare your refusals when asked.

PCC for a country you are no longer living in must be dated AFTER the last time you were there..... not a day before you left.....this is not the case for many Nigerian students in Canada ......if this is you, please apply for a new PCC.

ITA’s are too costly now unlike in the past when a rejected applicant could simply get into the pool and receive another ITA in two weeks. A friend reached out on this same matter after receiving an ITA with CRS 481 in March 2023. I told her to look at the cutoff scores and ask herself what will happen if her application got rejected for being incomplete. She ended up paying getting another set of police reports and medical.

Thanks for your contribution. I have started the process of getting a new PCC. Better safe than sorry.!

You can practice with the two free practice tests, I used those and i was lucky to get some practice test bundle via a friend's celpip portal. You should also follow n listen to the official celpip podcast on spotify, got a lot of direct tips from there. I only prepared for 1-2hrs every other day, in the space of 2 weeks. So, I'd say the podcast, as well as practicing with the practice sets helped.

I am usually critical about these kind of advisors, it is always better to err on the side of caution than to regret that a meagre 40k spilled the beans. In the grand scheme of things, I will submit even the one that was not asked than to be calculating like Nigeria at every World Cup group stage.

I know someone who thought she had met this PCC conditions like you stated, an Italian to be precise, her family application was rejected and she was only lucky to get another chance due to the low scores for CEC during Covid.

Since you are a prospective PR holder, I will say you should be careful of your “expertise” advice as this could mean grave consequences to many.

Err and err again on the side of caution, to be candid my Spouse doesn’t need a Police report for Canada but after consulting with my egbon Aestake here, She still provided the PCC for Canada.

for 2. The pcc most people have was gotten during the application. There is a gap of that date till they left the country. So another pcc is required.

However, the condition "was issued after you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row" is referring to a period of time in which you'll be required to provide a PCC for that country, so I think it's safe to say if the gap of the date they got their PCC to when they left is less than 6 months then they can still use it.

I.e. if the period when you got the PCC to when you left the country is less than 6 months, the PCC would meet this exemption. In my case, the period in which I got the PCC to when I left the country is about 3 months (less than 6 months).

In anticipation for ITA in the next general draw/next few draws, I'm gathering documents that are applicable to my profile/status. From my findings, these are my observations -

1. A FSW applicant who is temporarily living in Canada doesn't need to do a medical examination for their PR application if they have already done it in their previous application (Work or study), unless otherwise stated by the VO during the app processing. - Screenshot 1 ✔️

Note: I thought I should share this since I've seen a couple of FSW applicants already in Canada worrying about getting medicals done.

2. Concerning PCC, IRCC stated 2 conditions that would make a supposedly expired PCC valid for FSW applicants who are already in Canada (prob the one they got during their study/work permit app before leaving their home country). - *** Screenshot 2 ***

1st condition - Was issued after the last time you stayed for 6 months or more in a row
2nd condition- It is not for the country where you currently live

However, I see a lot of applicants worrying about getting PCC even when they seem to meet these conditions (those already in Canada). Is there anyone who has used their expired PCC in such situation.? Opinions please !!!

Lastly, what are the other documents (apart from the usual ones such as ref letter, test result, eca) to gather ahead of an ITA..?

My CELPIP result came in earlier this week. If you're at a crossroad choosing between IELTS and CELPIP... Having written both, I'd advice you go with CELPIP. Self evaluation and preparation is important for anyone you choose though. All the best!

I moved my dog to Canada with me after several months! If anyone was wondering how to do it, I’ll just summarise here. I struggled to get info when I wanted to do it, hence this summary.
My dog is a small dog, so it was easier, there’s more restrictions for dogs over 8kg (carrier weight included).

I don’t know much about BC only for Ontario. I got lot of misinformation that I can’t go straight to G from G1 even with my driving experience. At the end of the day I took my extract to the drive test centre told the officer I have an extract from Nigeria. I registered and took the G1 test. After passing I was told i can take the G road test no need for G2. Today I took the G road test and passed. So it’s very possible to get the Full G if you have an extract from your home country. Like I said knowledge test for BC I don’t know much, you have to research or check out https://www.drivingtestcanada.ca. For G road test have a good and experienced instructor. I was lucky one of the officers in the drivetest center was Nigerian, he gave me the contact of an instructor which most Nigerians use and pass.

One last thing, how were you able to get the car you used for the G road test, provided at the test center or you bought one?

That's great bro. Your own will be even easy to edit than mine cos of live footages .. But quality is what makes it different. If you can blend your travel and entertainment journey into making money or business related journey. Something like how Costa Rica natives make money, or assuming you are in Spain, content like the new ways people make $$$$ per month in ibiza with little efforts (just blending entertainment with money making), your cpm and cpc per 1000 views might get to $30.

I saw a channel in my niche recently, less than 8 videos, over 3 million views per month for 3 months consistently. Everything started this year. That's nothing less than $30k in revenue even using lesser amount of ad revenue, which is $10/1k views. It can even be up to 40.
Thats crazy. Any channel blended with business, money, crypto, affiliate marketing are far crazy in revenue. Or what do you think from your experience?

Well said bro, that's a good suggestion. In my opinion, these can go with some niches but not all niches, it's easier to blend a tech channel with online money making ideas/business/crypto since most money making businesses are arguably online and tech related but an agric channel or fashion channel doesn't really have anything to do with crypto, sort of.

Which niche are you? True, editing is not easy at all, but if its stuck with values, naturally subscriber will come.
I am starting cash cow channel in business stories section this month. I have been on a video for over 7 days now and still far from finishing though I am not a full time but damn stressful especially starting up.
I prefer quality over quantity with mix of good sound effects, good story lines, and good audio visual manipulations.
My aim is to make, for now at least 2 videos consistently per month, thinking of quality and as the time goes by around 8 videos monthly. My target is 3 millions views per month in few years to come which is very easy in such niche.

I'm also into tech, I basically do gadget reviews and DIY tutorials. Right now, I'm working on an additional channel that will be about travels, documenting my trips around the globe, which might get bigger than my tech channel with time, cuz from my analytics, I notice quality travel vlogs are getting lots of views and engagements from the Nigerian space.

You're very right with your reservation on quality videos, content is king and good content comes from the overall quality, I personally have a hard time subscribing to a channel without quality, so I also put that in mind when making & editing my videos, it has to be rich enough to make viewers know that they are missing a lot if they don't subscribe without actually begging them to subscribe. I recently started using Adobe Premiere Pro for my edits, though it's more complex than most others, but it gives me the control and enough audio-visual tweaks and quality I want in the videos.

I must say your short term and long term goals are realistic, which is very good. Keep it up bro!

I had to apply for a license reissue from naija and applied for Drivers license extract from FRSC naija. Finally i did my G1 yesterday, passed and got waived to proceed for G road test.

Sorry about that, with the news and reports coming from that embassy, it's better to just seek whatever service one needs directly from Nigeria. On another note, congrats on your G1, can you pls hint me on your registration/knowledge test process? It's cheaper, I eat all the food they serve, mostly jollof/ fried rice, chicken, bread/egg etc... unlike most European airlines that serve foods & mixtures that I can't eat, their service is great as well, speaking from my own personal experience sha

Personally, I can sponsor a spouse PR from Nigeria and all that as long as she's worth it, no issues at all but flipping the switch, I'll NEVER allow any girl to do that for me, even when I was poor and seem hopeless, I don't take favors from girls, it'll most likely hunt you back. Most of the guys I know and I've heard of, that were sponsored by a Nigerian lady later developed Ear problems or mental imbalance from the regular "after all the things I did for you" song...
