@madoba,honestlyspeaking, none of what I wrote cam,e out of hatred or annoyance, it's just internet world, and I wrote it out of happiness. Sure, marriage is not the ultimate goal, but it is part of a big goal that is necessary, I believe nairaland/internet is a place to express one'smood, and that is what I just did.

Seriously,many guys only show appreciation when the lady is suffering with them,once they become rich, they move on to the next in-town girl telling the former girl,she is not up to their level, not talking from a personal experience o, but from what av heard over time from ladies

However,saying I sounded immatured by saying I joined the married club, lalala, that is nothing,when a married woman talks about family issue, she ismost definitely talking about her immediate family first which include herself and her husband and then children, inlaws, siblings, etc, it is quite different from the way a single lady will talk about it cos levels don change.

I for one will never advise anyone especially a family man to leave his job for none, let him know that there are many family men who earn less than that and yet stil enjoy life, he should just cut his cloth according to the quantity of cloth he has, no too much things

My husband-to-be makes invitation card, infact, he made our wedding IV, he also makes greeting card but don't really know if he has the time to do it, depends on what you want really

I will be getting married in less than two weeks, hence I can categorically talk on this issue. My mother-in-law and my mohter would prefer me getting pregnant before wedding, I guess maybe to know if my husband and I are compatible, but my husband says he doesn't want that. REason: I quote: "I don't want people to think am marrying you because you are pregnant for me, am marrying you because I love you, not because you are oregnant and am kind of forced to marry you. Children are the fruits of marriage, not before marriage", he wants it that way.
Personally, I am not against it totally, once our introduction is being done and their is every certainty that we are getting married in less than 4 months, then I can.
What am personally against is, telling someone to get pregnant before marriage just to confirm if she is fertile. My point, I know a particular couple(now divorced) that got married because the lady got pregnant, though they've been dating for years, the pregnancy was more than 2 months when they gpt pregnant, and lo and behold, after wedding, she had a miscarriage,. Long after that, she got pregnant again, gave birth to twins, one died immediately after borth while the other died after barely 6 months,
The truth, getting pregnant before wedding shouldn't be for any reason, cos obviously dia is nothing to prove from it, if you are regnant before wedding, fine, outside or inside wedlock, children are still blessing from God.

My candid advise, jump at the jump, resume work with them, gather enough funds , then u can later thing of a better country to go for further studies, afterall, it is ur money you want to spend in India
