she called and told me about her transcript...i just said do you really want to give birth in US she said yes but she isnt applying again...i knew she wanted it more than i did,so just waited till she came back and cooled off...she opted to go for another interview.. we filled the form but this time i had to get a doctors letter to apply for the emergency appointment cause her EDD is March 7th..which was approved
Note no changes in documents just told her that every document has a story to tell and must correlate with one another..she should be more explanatory but precise

Compliments just finished my holidays back to the hustle...In my own contribution....DW and I where given visas on medical grounds around October 2015 she had a set of twins..interview,POE i was always in the forefront answering all the question althrough..We decided to go for 2weeks vacation in the in US August 2017 with DW,Twins and MIL..the next day after our arrival We went out for Indian cuisine with friends just as the food arrived DW started throwing up...i just but 1 and 2 together Omo DW was pregnant..i just encourage her to enjoy her vacation.we came back started preparing for dropbox since visas was expiring october 2017.I was granted DW was declined on 212g bases(called in for interview)...i could see it in her eyes she was scared cause i have always been the one forefront..(pls her transcript wasn't detailed)
Note all bills where paid she had LO's at Dallas

Was waiting for her from a distance i saw her face i knew the rest ....she was very disappointed...i knew this was the point to build up her confidence...ie i reassured her it was fine should reapply again ..but this time she will need to fly to lagos

Note same documents just added LO's birth certificate and printed our joint account which i couldnt print out for her last interview...it had a fairly good turn over and i recently transferred 2mil from my company account for her PTA)

sorry have been away for awhile...$329 each...thats $658.....took 8 23kg bags,stroller,2 car seats....diaper,breastpump,laptop bags.....no extra pay...was even given upgraded seats since i couldnt get bassinet for the twins

Please How much were you charged to add an infant ticket?

just tried my Gtbank card at Kroger store and did a cash back of $150 and it worked they counted $150 and gave me over the counter....as BA has refused for me to pay for my attached infant ticket in naira via Nigeria....emphasizing that i have to pay it at the airport..(where the dollar to pay..?)well that all i have to be doing till i get about $1000 for my return trip...atleast i avoid bank charges....GTbank still at 269...thot i heard naira just appreciated abit

Yello all. For those who want an app to call naija at cheaper rates, just installed Rebtel, they have a package of 250mins for $5 to call Nigerian numbers. That's like 2 cents per minute... Check it out...

Currently having fun and enjoying Houston weather.

Planned to use oakbend but ported to Methodist, and dr Amanjoh. Seriously enjoying their services.

My card is charging 217- N219 for one dollar, it's standard chartered bank, and I can do 2k dollars transactions daily. I do not think it's bad, compared to 240 other banks exchange.

I'm also learning abt money order, I plan trying it today and will be back to give feedback, I went with 3k dollar cash and almost got stranded paying my 5, 300 hospital bill, tank God for my friend turned sister who suggested I use my one day 2k quota to pay her bill (she added cash to complete) and den gave me her 2k which I needed to add to my card one day quota and pay the next day!

Moral of the long story is, pls come with enuf cash, so as not to get stranded

Ha I pray that the VO no resemble me walai cos i will just put red flag in the system,case closed.I worked in personnel so when I come across pple like your hubby(basketball size ego on their head and shoulder) he better be highly connected otherwise apologise or just jejely go to another state/branch chikena.
Firstly the VO is not his uncle's wife or cousins best friend sister and US visa is not naija national cake that has a sharing ratio .The VO can basically phyco-analyse(too much CSI series ) his ass across that window because they are well trained for the job and not because Obama is their uncle
Thank God he is not my hubby because I will serve him his favourite food he will put hand he won't be able to eat sef after I have read a few chapters from the story of his life for him.
This reminds of my last visa interview in 2011,Danjuma's wife(serving Senator then and seasoned traveller) was in our front and this mean VO started with her, she has to explain why only one kid travelled with her (na there I know sey all her kids be UK citizens),what she did in Washington for one week,why she is using her hubby account and she is a director in the oil coy .Thank God she wasn't empty headed and in a cool and collected manner answered all his questions with a smile on her face,immediately I stand up go piss begin pray for toilet.

Well we re-strategise,did the needful and went back in 2 weeks with d paper,got to the gate around 11am.The security called someone inside,got in,the same VO came out,key the Dr info into the system,check only my hubby account statement and gave us our passports with visa inside.
POE; Got to Detroit, the man just checked the system,said i can see the embassy is aware that you are giving birth,scan our fingers,asked how far along I was and said enjoy your stay.no secondary screening blah blah.
Moreover in this forum,some were rejected and was brave enough to go back 2/3 times and got it even the current VO could see in the system that they were rejected before and asked them why.

Noticed these Americans dont like stress...was able get my SSN number today(abstract copy)....i just googled an SSA office near me ...went in took a number on the queue...got to my turn..took necessary documents with me LO's passports,BC,my ID..etc...the chap look thru the system and found out it was ready since a day before thanksgiving...and you know what...?its wasnt despated...he just printed out abstract copies for the twins on their Letter head...with LO's SSN attached...after long typing on the system he said i should expect SSN card by mail before Friday...and when i get it i should shred the letters he gave..thats the same way i got my BC didnt need to drive all the way to dallas office to get my BC..got it near a county office near me..
Immediately i got the SSN letter i headed to bank of America to open accounts for the twins...heard about a saving account under the minors act ...that requires only SSN then me as the custodian and twins as beneficiaries it requires $25 to open but if balance is less than $300 it attracts charges of $5 per month....na him i kuku open an with $300 each...
Waiting for departure date since i couldnt afford($3250) to change me ticket to earlier date...already planned my Xmas grove for this side....

yea...same here LO's where delivered on 21th of last month still yet to get SSN(have gotten all other documents)....i presumed it was because of thanksgiving celebration...i felt it was delayed....its 3weeks now..called local SSN office and they said i should wait for 4 weeks...called their main headquarters they said i should wait for 8 weeks...Hmm...am going there physically this morning...

Will share my JPS Hospital bill breakdown once we sort the last bit on Monday. BC collected in Tarrant County a week after birth . I needed a week recover after 27 hrs of labour.
Will get my baby's passport @ the Dallas Passport office later as I still have time before I go back home.
Will also add baby's ticket later too!

congrats on your to and fro journey..how much and where did you pay for infant ticket?...and did you change you date of departure or you used dates as planned when you purchased your round trip ticket...?

I checked my ticket online when I saw 2 bags for infant I had to call United to b sure... And mehn d moment I was sure... Increased my diaper luggage.

U can check in a graco travel crib too it's part of the free stuff u can check In

Aside I and hubby's hand luggage we had breastpump and two diaper bag.

I pumped on the plane... When D lights were off... It's simple easy and sweet

been all busy taking care of DW and the twins....got BC, got US passport...SSN yet to come probably delayed cos of thanksgiving...planned using ETC...the problem now is that we booked our return for 30th dec...but because of twin delivery LO's came much earlier....decided to move my ticket to anytime next week....Na him i called BA in the US to shift departure date and add infant ticket....the cheapest bill they gave me was $2,250 of DW and I only ...for my mind i said Ok.(na him cut call)..tried calling Naija BA representative they came up with $1780 for DW and I 2 infant tickets not inclusive....(hmmmmm)...wondering how i will go about it...cant stay here till 30th...pls any advice on cheaper means?...

Finally gotten the chance to give my testimony, I had my twins @ MIHS a boy and a girl, birth certificate, U.S. Passport and Nigerian visa ready on time and we were back to Nigeria just few days short of one month. It's been a busy period running around with my toddler and the twins but I had to squeeze out time to say a big thank you to this forum . Please my friend needs to go too but is scared she will get denied if she applies for visa with doctores para letters, she applied in January with her husband for vacation and they were denied. She is wondering if to apply with her husband and mother now or just her mother. I told her about this forum and she pleaded that I plead with you guys to advice her. Thanks

Pls try to see a good physiotherapist they can help in this condition. ..as a preggie get to term the hormones tend to lose the ligaments of the pelvis...which when inflamed can cause severe pain from the ligamentous nerve endings

Hmmmm! My dear i've been there b4( my 1st n twin preggy).The pain was unbearable, nfact i was imaginning if i wud hv been able to carry those babies if they were alive. As far as i know, it dosnt have cure, cos i was placed on several medications including calcium supplements, yet no improvement at all. The pain subsides with time, though it can last for several months. I'm nt saying ds to discourage u my sister, its jst so u'll knw dat someone rilly understands hw u feel dwn there right nw. Pele! Pls try n go by ur Dr's advice, cos urs might be different frm mine.

Nice info....made a mistake on T mobile pls nobody should try that network ooo....not friendly for naija calls....once my monthly plan expires I will just have to change...everywhere far for dallas...but just exercise patient and get the best.for your plan...its not funny atall you may think it's just like naija where u can just walk into a shop and get variety of what you want..
