PoliticsRe: Biafra Will Be The Biggest Mistake Ever. Beware! by AfroCynic: 5:09pm On Oct 03, 2009
udezue:
You can love us but we still don't have to be in the same nation with you jare so carry your love dey waka. You say you love us? Well no be only you everybody loves us. Okay cheesy

I know many women who love American men now does that mean America should merge with all those nations? Nope.
That is rather inane, no?

Nigeria consists of over 140m people most of whom remain poor and marginalised. Because Obasanjo was the pres doesn't mean Yoruba people all got s monthly stipend from the federal govt. Goodluck being V.P. has done nothing for his people. You oughta concern yourself with how we'll get rid of these thieving liars we have as leaders,
PoliticsRe: Biafra Will Be The Biggest Mistake Ever. Beware! by AfroCynic: 4:59pm On Oct 03, 2009
Okay, Biafra will never happen, the sooner everyone realises this the better. I am tired of all the ethnocentric rancour this silly topic causes. Get used to it. I love all my Igbo peeps, especially the men, they are so sexy and strong.

Anyways, yeah, I love Naija, Let all hold hand and engage in menage et trois, lol.

But on a serious can we all just get along at best or at worse argue about relevant things?
PoliticsRe: Does Nigeria What Dying For? by AfroCynic: 4:42pm On Oct 03, 2009
I am not even trying to diss now but some Nigerians speak funny English,  Here is my little list of the things they say that I find annoying;

The word SEVERALLY instead of several

They say PORSHOE
as opposed to PURSUE

They leave out the word TO from sentences, E.g. 'Allow me pass'

I have got a whole more, just can't think of them all.
PoliticsRe: How Can I Revoke My Nigerian Citizenship? by AfroCynic: 4:29pm On Oct 03, 2009
Lol, the thread starter is a clown! You do not need any advice to renounce your citizenship, just use the new passport that you have. I am naija for life, even I do not have a Naija passport, nothing will change that,

PoliticsRe: Tunde Idiagbon: Fulani Man Or Yoruba Man ? by AfroCynic: 4:14pm On Oct 03, 2009
The Fulani were invaders into Ilorin, Most of the Yoruba who claim to be Fulani do so for political expediency, To be of the same religion does not equal being from the same ethnic group. Trust me, as soon as trouble starts, everyone will know where his father's compound is,

CelebritiesRe: Mercy Johnson Used To Sell Pure Water by AfroCynic: 7:16pm On Sep 29, 2009
I love M.J. She is the only one out of these Nollywood chics that keeps it real. To hear them all tell it, you would think they were all from royal families. But Mercy told the truth of her reality which people can identify with. I am a huge supporter of hers, she is humbled and she has real talent.

CelebritiesRe: Genevieve Nnaji On Oprah by AfroCynic: 7:06pm On Sep 29, 2009
Why are people hating on the chic? I am happy for her, though I am not fan of Oprah's but for a fellow Naija chic to be recognised makes me feel good.

Congratulations to Genevieve.

CultureRe: Igbos Speak Better English Than Yorubas. by AfroCynic: 10:55am On Sep 29, 2009
Come to think of it, I know some Igbo people that speak Yoruba better than some Yoruba people but I am yet to meet a Yoruba person that can speak Igbo! I think that is something worth giving credit for, I would love to be able to speak;

Yoruba
Igbo
Hausa
Urhobo

That would make me a very happy bunny.

^It doesn't offend me Missy poo. Nobody stops anyone from being together. You are talking about legalizing the practice.

Prostitution is not legal in most countries. It don't stop people from doing it. Does it.
You cannot equate prostitution and homosexuality. So, what if it legalised, would you please explain to me how that would affect you?

^ Democracy does not meet equality. We are not ready to accept such a life style a society. Stop being brain wahsed by liberalism.

nex thing you know they'll have hugging trees and marrying animals and tell you have a right to that as well.
Why does it offend you for two consenting adults to be together, this in a country that sanctions marriages between prepubescent girls and middle aged men,
PoliticsRe: Why Is The Eastern Region The Only Region Without An Airport? by AfroCynic: 10:04pm On Sep 28, 2009
I think the upgrading of all inter-state roads and the financing of of a new rail way network that will link all major cities and towns in the country is a more pressing issue.

Normaly an average Anambrarian believe more in using money and connections to have his way that brutes and weopons, we believe that Ego ji olu,
may be you have not noticed that an average Anambrarian is deeply religious and emotioanal.
Oga, abegi, religion has zilch to do with it, all that shouting Jesus is just eye service, if they were really religious, they would not steal money wey dem suppose use for de betterment of Anambra as a whole, so jus commot your eye from dat religion side. All I know is that Anambra politics is dirty but no more so than it is in other states.
BusinessRe: I Will Transform Anambra Into Dubai - Soludo by AfroCynic: 12:35pm On Sep 28, 2009
KnowAll:
"Are you now saying that Anambra politicians do not know where to get assasins to do their Job? How lame.  "

1.  Anambra Politicians would have to hire a seasoned hired assassin to carryout the evil work. They can only get such men from  lagos. The reason why there is so much high profile killngs in other parts of the SW is because the SW states of Oyo, Ondo, Ogun, and Osun is easily assessable to lagos, in fact to all intent and purposes it is more or less a suburb of the Lagos Metropolitan area. A man lives Lagos early in the morning does a job and he is back in lagos by lunch time.

2. The Logistics of hiring an assassin from about 400 miles to Anambra would be a logistics nightmare for any would be hirer, where does he put up this wild, nefarious and uncontrollable human, does the contractor put him in his house, what of if he comes back and start blackmailing the hirer.
Laughter wan kill me die o grin grin grin . Are you trying to say that there are no contract killers in Anambra? I doubt this is true, maybe the politicians in the state are not interested in taking a fellow human's life for the sake of power?
