the team that travelled was good enough to beat wigan,u cant play ur 1st 11 every game.valencia has not been 2 good in d last 2 games,mayb he is a lil tired or goin tru a lean spell.rooney was poor in d game,giggs was terrible.evra needed help truot d 1st half from young,d list goes on n on.it was abt d players not showing enough desire for d game expecting an easy ride.
if rooney or valencia hadnt travelled people would hav come here to declare dt had they played things would have been different.yes scholes n rafael might hav made a difference but there is no guarantee.wt was obvious in d match was dt d wigan players wanted it more than d united players and dt was d difference

u r yet to respond to dayo's question about the stats in AVB's first matches in charge.u r talking as if it is automatic that when a new manager takes over things must improve,its not automatic my guy.at least we have seen how mark hughes at QPR and terry connor at Wolves have struggled.no one is saying RDM is a coaching genius but AVB's obvious poor man management plus his sticking to some odd decisions made his bed for him.

not everybody criticizing torres is joining a bandwagon(if any bandwagon exists).the stats and figures are there to see,the guy is not performing to the expected level and it will be very disingenuous to place the blame on his team mates and selfish wingers.the torres of old did not depend solely on quality service,he scored a number of goals through solo effort.in fact the sight of the old torres 1 v 1 with another defender or even 2 defenders was enough to alarm opponents(nemanja vidic will bear witness),and this happened whether he was 10yards from goal or 40 yards from goal.now torres isolated on the flanks is usually good enough for a cross n nothing more.have u forgotten his blockbuster shots from distance or edge of the box,what happened to them(these were goals he created for himself without help).
right now he has 3 goals from 26 matches and he is a striker in a top4 chasing chelsea bought for a large amount of money n paid accordingly.
consider that at struggling low scoring wigan victor moses(usually a wide man) has 4 goals,jordi gomez(a midfielder) has 4 goals.diame,watson n mcarthur(central midfielders) all have 3 goals each.
at wolves stephen ward(usually a full back) has 3 goals,jarvis (a winger)has 5 goals and kightly(a midfielder) has scored d same 3 goals as torres despite playing only 13 matches
at QPR helguson has 8 goals in 15 matches,cisse(a one trick pony) has 3 goals like torres despite playing only 5 matches

2 days ago bluediva called ramires a waste of space.she also called him a donkey and possible dullard!
you said that ramires was all pace no product,that chelsea was better off without him.
even ibime was very critical of the guy just a day ago but ended up putting him in his team to face barca
adetayo1000,dyabman and mufasa all said he must play against barca.
my initial post was cos i noticed the obvious disconnect between the mainly negative reviews ramires gets and the fact that most chelsea fans(including some of his critics) still list him as a compulsory starter for chelsea's match against the best team in the world
