Jalen Williams has been terrific in this series.
93pts accumulated in the last 3 games.

He reminds me of Kyrie Irving in the 2016 finals.
He is averaging over 27 PPG while SGA is averaging over 32 PPG. Meanwhile Hali has been skirting the outer reaches of triple single territory in a number of games.

That is what happens when you are giving Robert Horry the hype of James Worthy.

The guy went from being falsely overrated to being truly overrated, real quick.

I wonder what Jay Williams will tell Stephen A now.

Middle Belt that has some of toughest and most militant Nigerians ever has now become slaughter ground.

It is a low down dirty shame.

Both federal and state governments should be ashamed. They have failed those people.

He should start trying that best quickly. Too many lives are being wasted.

He commands the army, navy, airforce, police, and the intelligence services.

The buck stops at his desk as he once said.

Having said that, I don’t understand why the NC states do not have state-backed paramilitary security network. The governors are either too incompetent/corrupt or they just lack the political will due to their personal ambition.

Not like I disagree with you but
If the man was a pure village boy before traveling and didn't know anyone in the city

Plus felt city life was too chaotic for him
Na the people wey him know for village hold am hostage so.

Someone that lived for decades in the US can’t be claiming village boy again.

I don’t know the details of his personal history to say for sure but relocating to the village from obodo oyinbo is a high risk enterprise.

the same thing can happen in the city

basically you build a house and leave a family member to occupy it/take care of ity for you and the person gets used to the idea of the house being his. everyone assumes it is for the member, then one day you show up to take the house over and your caretaker who has become used to living in a fancy mansion has to go and find what he can afford - a one bedroom face me i face you
It is more likely to happen in the village with the mindset, exposure level, and economic capacity of most of the people there.

House wey village people don already count as their property for over 20 something years , baba just showed up out of the blues to claim it back. I’m sure his family members didn’t bother to hustle to build their own building having thought the man has left his property for them. So , they just had to switch on their wicked mode to take him out for breaking their hearts with his sudden appearance .
People that have nothing doing and even less going for them in life. Most likely they have been making sacrifice at the shrine for the gods to keep him abroad for ever.

Its kind of long though

Long story short, Dad retired in Yankee relocated back to Naija and was maltreated by relatives who were taking his money and left to rot away

but what do you think the dad did wrong

Relocating to the village in his old age was the main mistake.
Another mistake was not knowing the type of extended family he had.

There is a reason why village people is a thing. If you want to japada in your old age it should be to the city. Village people can be incredibly dark minded.

I had 2 comments, the earlier one, I said if he fails to make top 4 after signing Gyokeres for example and replaced Onana, he should be sacked. I still stand by that, considering we will be playing one match a week.

Then my second comment, I said he should be challenging for the title, I didnt say he should be sacked if he is not challenging. If for instance after 19 matches in December the 1st position is at 45 points, and we are 35 points, and at 2nd-6th position, I will not be calling for his sack. But, i hear some people saying just top half of the table is OK. Top half is not acceptable for me. We have to be in the mix for top 4. If not sack him immediately.
Top half alone is not good enough.

He has to make Europe through the league while playing good football. I expect Top 4 and might be okay with Top 6 is the football looks good and there are signs it will get better.

Even if he makes Top 4 with unsustainable jaguda football I won’t be okay with keeping him. Jose and Ole came 2nd in that fashion and even ETH came 3rd.

If we are not in the top 4, and within the striking distance of the 1st position. Like 10 points or even 15 points depending on the performance of the 1st position. If he not there, I will be firmly Amorim out.
Top 4 is different from the title challenge you mentioned earlier sha.

If title challenge is the target for next season they should just sack him now. We finished 30-40 points below teams who are buying players that are as good or better than our players.

The teams that finished dozens of points above us are not standing still and it would take more than 1 window to catch up with them.

I am expecting a Top 4 finish or at the very worst Europa League qualification through the league (not FA Cup, Carabao Cup qualification). The football MUST also improve SIGNIFICANTLY.

Your point is well respected and valid, I know you will never budget 250 Milla for solar lights worth 300k but will you budget 300k for solar lights worth 300k if you find yourself in the corridors of power? That's the point I'm trying to make, power corrupts and absolute power corrrupts absolutely
All through all segments and levels of public service in Nigeria people have been perpetrating wicked and corrupt practices on their fellow men for years.

From the gateman that will not allow people to enter to submit job applications if they don’t sort him out first, to the university lecturers coercing their students to pay in cash or kind in order to avoid unjustified failure, to the hospital CMD who is embezzling funds meant for the Neonatal ICU in order to send his own son abroad for Masters, to the hundreds of Perm Secs, DGs, and other lower level career civil servants who somehow can afford houses in Lekki, Maitama, London, and Dubai.

The hospital MD who converted the brand new ambulance bought by the state government into his personal vehicle and was using it to carry his mistress to different hotels for them to kpansh, while critically ill patients were being transferred out of the hospital with Keke Marwa. That one too will become Commissioner of Health one day and people will be asking why our leaders are wicked.

But why are Nigerian politicians very wicked. Like naturally. Is wickedness one of the requirements ?
The question should be why are Nigerians wicked.

These leaders come out of the general pool of Nigerians and when they were in the pool they too were very critical of the leaders of the day.
