The first thing to go in a keeper is his reflexes. The ones that have command of the box and great with positioning like Buffon, van der Sar usually last long, while the ones depending on great reflexes like Toldo, Barthez, Zenga don’t last as long into their 30s.

It is all about the additional money. Watzke dey very greedy. Amad + 40m should get Sancho. Who knows which of them will turn out to be the better player sef. Only thing we know for sure is that Sancho is ahead right now in terms of development and maturity. I have not seen enough of Amad to judge him.

Greenwood did a good job, given the players around him weren’t first team players like him. This is good for his confidence.

Shoretire and Hannibal played Under-23 the day before. I am sure Hannibal will make his debut soon, in either the Fulham game or the Wolves game.

Loading too many youngsters together is not optimal. It is better to field 1 or 2 of them at a time with the senior players, and i mean senior players like Pogba, Bruno, Cavani not benchmen.

It is a a very probable line up. Both Amad and Elanga did not play for the Under-23s yesterday.

He is an 8 not a 6. He is a CM/B2B and not a CDM. He is more like Pogba (in style not quality) than Ndidi. Physically he has the tools to get to the top but we all know it requires more than just talent.

With the highlights I have seen from Garner, if he adds more weight, he will do a good job at CDM for United, but he looks slow though.

He is not the quickest but i think his pace is adequate. That is the one position where one does not have to be a speedster. I am more interested in him getting stronger and also understanding the game better.

Doc, Scott messed up. There were some games they deserved to win and ended up losing. This tells more about his mentality as a manager.

Scott Parker might be a limited coach but the squad was also limited.

The guy who has had the best loan is James Garner.

Watford were playing him at CM but he still started okay despite their diabolical football. However he lost his place when they changed managers and he moved to Nott Forest where he has been great as a CDM.

I would not mind a mid-table EPL loan for him next season. What he does not need is to be recalled and glued to the bench.

If the opposition know there are about 3/4 of Mejbri's teammate who'd return tackles with equal or more brutal valor, then maybe they'd think twice subsequently.

It doesn’t work like that. We are trying develop footballers and build careers while some of those clubs are trying to develop bricklayers and destroy careers. Our players need to get used to playing football not hacking.

The onus is on the coaches to protest and on the club to make a formal complaint. The quality of officiating at that level is criminal though. The boy needs to be sent on loan or promoted. The only thing he can acquire from 1 more season there is a career ending injury.
