Taguchi: Not you bro, chelsea fans
They will tell you that Mourinho is point and kill and destroys players confidence.. when pep matter enters then mou is a great underdog manager... Dem go tell you Iniesta has poverty stats so is not world class... but bring up hazard now then you start hearing things like "there is more to an attacker's football than goals and assists" or that hazard is a midfielder... they will shade Neymar and Dembele for getting injured at their respective clubs but use the same injury as an excuse for hazard
Some shekpites will tell you Messi is nothing without Iniesta and Xavi then later tell you those two are carry along depending on the agenda on ground Today sir alex is God,tomorrow he is a referee bribing ,tactically inept, and transfer record breaking manager.
Today David Beckham is a one season wonder, tomorrow he is ......
AGENDA It is a phucking disgrace. |

Infact he finished 2nd behind Figo in 2001 You don't expect Chelshitters to be logical when it concerns a United player. The only reason Fergie is being defended here today is because they want to drag Pep who they hate more presently. PFA Team of the Year 4 times UEFA Team of the Year 2 times FIFA World Player of the Year 2nd place 2 times Ballon d'Or 2nd place 1 time EPL Assists leader 3 times Real Madrid Player of the Year 1 time UEFA club midfielder of the Year 1 time UEFA club footballer of the Year 1 time ..............................................................................but all he had was a good 1999. |

patrickmuf: I missed it. You are right, he needs to work on his finishing and decision making to get to the next level.
What do you make of Benrahma? Yeah. Decision making especially. That was the final factor that convinced me Greenwood can handle the step up. When they were both playing under-18 Elanga was faster and possibly stronger but couldn't handle the step up to under-23 as well as Greenwood. With regards to Benrahma i have not seen much of him but he appears to be yet another left sided forward which we don't need. In terms of wingers my opinion is that we make sure we get Sancho who is 4 yrs younger, already better and with a higher ceiling, and very comfortable on both wings. |

patrickmuf: Afrodoc, I stumbled on a certain Anthony Elang who plays in our academy, he is very similar to Martial in his play style though looks faster. How come you haven't mentioned him here?
Also, what is your take on Said Benrahma? You are very correct about Elanga's style being similar to Martial's. I like Elanga but i need to see more from him next season because he needs to step up and mature a bit more in order to make it here. I have actually mentioned him here before. The problem is that he is yet another player who seems to favor the left wing forward position. This was me mentioning him some months back. afrodoc2: Lol. That was the joke of the year. Sign British Owusu-Abeyie for what?
The last time we had an Owusu we sold him to Arsenal to complete the Lord’s work.
Someone that in 2yrs Elanga will be better than. |

A 31 years old player without a single trophy. It was not that big. There were multiple transfers in the EPL for more than that including defenders and midfielders. It barely made it into top 10 EPL transfers that season. |

Jodera: . It's that same Dortmund Auba came from and he's shining. Heck, it's even same Sancho who gave pulisic seatbelt at Dortmund that's now called captain America at Chelsea. Just telling you that you shouldn't be pointing at negatives everywhere, esp when you consider Sancho was one of the best player in England academy before making the move. My name is Afrodoc and i approve this message. Sancho came in as a younger player and gave Pulisic permanent seat on the bench. The difference was clear like 7-Up. And in the England youth set up like you rightly said Sancho was the chairman of his set, with Foden next before Gomes, Hudson Ode and others. if Sancho flops it won't be because he came from Dortmund but because of either injuries or attitude. The talent is there to high world class level but if he goes the way of certain English players he might not achieve his full potential. The real L would be if somehow United don't get him and he instead goes to Liverpool or Chelshit. |

That Dutch league dey suspicious. See the way Tadic dey give everybody there toros week in week out. Depay's case is small. Wilfried Bony's case is small. The way Kezman was dealing with them in that league before he came to EPL only to drop 4 goals was shocking. |

dubylhover: I think if one was to check their interceptions, naturally I don't think cdm playing for big teams would have as many numbers as those playing for other teams, but then Leicester has been really good this season.. Another reason why I'm not too sold on ndidi is that ability to receive the ball from defense and start buildup play,he easily easily caught off guard in that kind of situations,I remember against Chelsea when he made that mistake and some other games I just can't remember now..
I guess I have a personal preference for cdm who are very creative..
The issue with matic now is that he's become too slow, one would think that as he loses his pace, he would become quicker to pass, but more often than not you see him hold on to the ball for too long, then in some cases he gets tackled off the ball.
But partey plates for ATM,one of the reasons you're not really sold on neves is the teams setup and tactics, one would think its also similar to that of ATM also..let's just hope d clubs makes the right signing..
Before I forget...GET SANCHO AT ANY COST Regarding the Neves vs Partey issue, you can watch full games of Wolves without noticing Neves defensively apart from his long range shots and passes. With Partey you notice him instantly, he still stands out despite ATM's community defending whereas Neves just blends in with his team. Also Partey is better suited than Neves to cover the spaces that would be left by Bruno and Pogba. When i thought Pogba was leaving Neves made more sense, not so much any longer. And yes, GET SANCHO, et pereat mundus. |

dubylhover: If ogs wants to keep up with this pattern of one defensive midfielder behind pogba and Bruno, another option we should try to look at is benaccer of Milan, from nations cup I've been observing him..and right now in this Milan resurgence,he's a very key part..
hes like a younger version of matic..highly press resistant, can pick up passes in between lines..has good tactical positioning to cut out opposition passes.does his job very well..
The reason I'm not all sold on ndidi is his passing range and play in tight spaces..cos that cdm role is not just about marking and work rate, you need to also have football intelligence to know how to block passing lanes of opposition attack, that to me is matic best quality self.but then my first choice still remains Ruben neves, but benaccer also has those qualities.I think he's being slept on When it comes to blocking passing lanes Matic is a learner where Ndidi is. Check their interception stats, then check their tackle stats. Matic plays well for half a season and with his stamina problems should ideally be a bench CDM as he enters his 30s. Ndidi's passing is not as bad as many think, and i think in a team playing more expansive football he would show this. Partey is a more polished player IMO though, so i would be okay if we got him instead. I have heard good things about Benacer but i have not really watched him extensively. Will check some of his highlights and/or watch some recent Milan games. I am no longer so sure about Ruben Neves. He is part of a midfield that always plays low blocks and almost always has very little possession. Apart from long range shots i am not sure how good he is as a CDM especially since he and Moutinho share the responsibility. |

ChristineC: Ndid and Partey, although United have been linked with neither so far, who do you see as a better fit for the current set up? Hmmm. Ndidi as a specialist EPL tested CDM walks into the first team displacing Matic and balancing Pogba's perceived laziness with his work rate. Partey is more versatile and can play in 2-3 different positions. More technically advanced than Ndidi but an inferior CDM. I would go for Ndidi if the fee was the same, but with Partey being cheaper and more versatile he might be the better choice. |

CapitalCee: I read on reddit people talking about our defence. TBH our defence doesn't give me confidence, and it gives me jitters. But to be Frank I think the criticism of Maguire and Lindelof (including me) are a bit harsh. I have rewatched the Liecester game, they are not as bad as people portray. Infact we have conceded 3 less goals than liverpool and one less than city. Even with some kamikaze giveaway of our dear DDG. He still manage to get 13 clean sheets just behind Ederson and Pope.
And for me. I think DDG should continue in goal next season. Apologies to Expert117. Lol I think you mean 1 more than City and 3 more than Liverpool. The defence has not been terrible. Our priorities should be a RW, capable deputies for Bruno/Pogba, and then a 1st team CB. When Ighalo goes in Jan we can get another cheap short term CF. With Sancho, VDB, Partey, and a CB we should be able to put up a good title challenge next season. The current players have to continue to improve and stay fit though. |
