Players are not supposed to influence ref’s decision, if not they will be protesting every goal or major decision and the game will slow down to a crawl.

It is the responsibility of the VAR to look at goals, red cards e.t.c and decide whether or not the ref should have a second look.

I don't think VAR was checked for that goal. If VAR wasn't checked, I can blame Maguire and Lindelof for that. They should have been in the ref's face to check VAR

It is VAR that calls the attention of the referee to have a second look, not the players. That one was daylight robbery.

Where i give Cavani the edge is that prime Cavani had unbelievable movement inside and outside the box whereas Inzaghi and RVN were mainly box movers.

It's just sad, we took ourselves out of contention.

We have had too many important players off form this season to maintain the high level needed. Immediately City stepped hard on the gas we couldn't keep up.

Just adding Martial and Greenwood's scoring form of last season would have kept us in the race.

I have been impressed with Forson and Hansen. Hoogewerf has been quite good too but he is older than the rest so not as impressive. His mates are mainly playing Under-23.
