You can't just use trophies to judge. Even though stats and trophies are both imperfect ways of judging a player stats are still better cos even though your team mates help the individual player still has a big say.
Trophies are mainly a factor of how good your team is. Most times the better team wins not the better player. If in doubt let us assess the World Cup records of George Weah, Shevchenko, Kalusha Bwalya and co.

My worries come from the fact that buying Sancho at astronomical fees and too much hype might be gis achilles heels that will not help us at all, when we are still dealing with several expensive flops. He might succeed, but if he fails on the premises that it was going, it will be catastrophic. Many times on this forum when people want to make their points they go extreme with their statements. Sancho is not worth 120m agreed, but as at the time CapitalCee made that Reyna statement the boy had like 2 goals and 3 assists.

There is nothing factual to prove that Reyna is head and shoulders above Sancho. Funny thing is that Sancho is a bit like the Bruno he so loves because both of them are stats machines. They somehow always find themselves involved in goals and assists.

I have seen enough goals and assists from Sancho to know that he is not the Dan James you are making him out to be.

It is one thing to say he is not worth 120m (which i agree with by the way). It is another thing to try to buttress your argument by mentioning an untested teenager like Reyna who has been decent but not exactly set the world alight.

This debate will never be solved. In my opinion it is Pele. Messi's failures with the national team not just in terms of trophies but game play means he can't be top dog for me. There was a noticeable drop off between Messi's individual performances for club and country even at his peak. It is sad but true.

P.S I noticed you listed Iniesta but didn't mention CR7. Wattagwan?

Bruno has been better this season but overall KDB just about edges it for me. KDB appears to have declined this season while Bruno keeps getting better. Last season i would have said KDB easily but as this season has progressed Bruno has closed the gap.

Not everything is black and white and i won't quarrel with anyone who chooses either of them. They are both good but with slightly different styles.
