Well bakayoko is actually a cdm and judging by his play in the champions league this season he does look a lot better than fellaini ever will! Plus he is 22 and has a lot of time to still develop @ old trafford! I also like his feints and close control....he looks confident on the ball! I would prefer other options but if he joins I won't be mad!

If it is between Fellaini and Bakayoko of course I would go for Bakayoko too. Hopefully we are able to get someone better though

I don't think he is the type of player to replace Carrick. His passing is not crisp and imaginative enough and he can be sometimes clumsy with the ball.
But the first step is for Mourinho to decide what his primary formation will be next season and buy players who by and large will fit best into that system.
With Pogba being the 100m dollar man I think we need to play more 4-3-3 with a single CDM in order to give Pogba the best opportunity to succeed.

There are positives but we are Man Utd, we don't just dwell on positives and rest.
Transfer moves don't move us anymore until we see how the players fit in. There have been too many wasted transfers for me to start salivating over rumors.
Positives : we are defensively solid, we have bought some good players, our play is miles better than last season but there is still much room for improvement on all fronts.
Even during SAF's heyday he was criticized here so please who tf is JM that he can't be criticized?

I am not defending mourinho, he has gotten it wrong so many times this season, I am not denying that, but i refuse to blame him for the inability of players to score simple tap ins

If they have all these goals and assists as you have said why then are you complaining about them.
I don't want Mourinho sacked but his penchant for throwing his players under the bus and publicizing his love for departed strikers will in no way give his current players confidence in front of goal.

But poor training can. Managing a team is more than just tactics. Training methods are important and then man management also.

there are somethings you can blame a coach for, like poor chances creation, poor or wrong set up, wrong tactics etc but not players missing tap ins or goals from close range

He was happy with the players before the season started. He said so himself.
He assessed the squad and asked for 4 players to add and he got all 4.
Why is he now crying for Chicharito?
The man has no hiding place in this situation.
It is either he chose the wrong players to start the season or he is not able to implement the right training methods to improve the finishing of our forwards.
ALL our forward players have in previous seasons shown that they have it within them to finish better than they have done this season, so what is happening this season?

I like the way Sunderland has resolutely kept the score line down despite being 1 man down.

Every facet of the game is within the purview of of the manager.
You might ask well ask why should they blame a manager for a team conceding goals from set pieces or conceding lots of goals.
There is something called A TRAINING SESSION where the manager is meant to lead his players and ensure the players work on their shortcomings and improve on them.
The lack of good finishing calls into question not JM's tactical acumen but his training methods.
What time do they spend working on shape,defensive solidity and possession and what time and methods do they have to improve finishing in front of goal.
If finishing is poor for a few games you can blame bad luck but if it is for a whole season then one has to look deeper.

I like your belief but belief alone can't get us to the top 4, goals and 3 points will.
No way in hell are Chelsea or Spurs dropping out of top 4 so remove Spurs from your list.
City have enough goal scorers in them to scrape through plus they are ahead of us now so I will suggest you take them off your list too.
Liverpool is the weak link , especially now they lost Mane for the rest of the season.
The last position in the top 4 will go to one of Utd, Liv or Arsenal. If we keep drawing and Liverpool n Arsenal keep alternating Ws and Ls we won't make the top 4.
The fact that JM has allowed it to get to this point of us calculating in April like Esusu collector just to make top 4 tells us he phucked up this season.
I won't go as far as calling him a failure though until we fail to make champs league.
