MaziOmenuko: See how dead our right flank is. Seems the players don't even trust the Tuazambee guy, they hardly pass he ball to him even when he is unmacked. He just gave up and stopped running upfront.
Unless if course that's what Jose wants. I noticed that too. Axel is a CB so I don't think he wants to risk going forward and leaving Sanchez in this high profile match, he just wants to be defensively solid. Both full backs have been ZERO going forward and that has helped to kill our attack. |

pharod: I read somewhere that United might release Poole. He z a defensive liability. A red card magnet. Nigga was shown red in 2 straight matches...
Kagawa10 will still defend him and call Herrera a red card waiting to happen... I believe his future in senior football lies in midfield but likely not at United. |

SIRcumalot: harrop and Poole nko? those two boys Kagawa10 they manage. Harrop has a very good brain i would give kagawa that but physically (dribbling, speed, power) he does not have it IMO. Poole seems to like playing centre back but he is only 5 feet 10 inches tall with Tuanzebe as well as all the senior CBs ahead of him. |

MRTA7: Wow, even Demetri Mitchel who is supposed to be very highly rated? Like I said I've seen nothing of these kids just from what ive read. Also the keeper perreira is also very highly regarded. I understand City have most of the best academy talent in Manchester so I'm not surprised. Demetri is very fast and tricky and is left footed BUT he has poor football sense. Perreira is good but we all know he is highly unlikely to make it at United cos of the requirements in that position. The ACADEMY has some good talent though, i was talking about the RESERVES. First of all there is no single no 9 in the RESERVES so they are having to play Scott McTominay (who is a midfielder) in attack. Demi Mitchell runs alot but not enough end product and he is quite small unlike Rashford. Watching the reserves this season has been a bit of an eyesore though in their defence they have been stripped of some of their best players via promotion and transfers. |

MRTA7: I don't even know him but Matthew Olosunde is in our squad to face Arsenal tomorrow. US born teen with pace and decent work rate but technically limited from what i have seen. Usually plays as a full back but can play CB or even RM. To be honest there is not much to be excited about in terms of talent with the reserve team. |

elampiro: You are missing the most important point. My first post was that he did not even move. I gave posted a video of saves made by keepers. One thing is common to most of them, the keepers stepped towards the side the wall was covered before the kicks were taken. This is what I expected DDG to do. DDG might have to improve his positioning during free kicks but let us get something clear the keeper is more at fault when the ball goes in on his own side than when it goes over the wall. The side of the keeper is mainly his responsibility while the side behind the wall is mainly the wall's responsibility. You can SOMETIMES blame the keeper when the ball goes over the wall but EVERYTIME the ball goes in over the keeper's side you have to blame the keeper (and a decoy run is no excuse for a professional goalie). |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 7:28am On May 05, 2017 |
dubylhover: we are not supporting ddg,but for all the things he has done for us,I think your criticism is over the top..it just seemed like you had been waiting for the mistake to happen.. every keeper has one flaw or the other.. Elampiro was one the greatest DDG critics when we first bought him ( and with good reason) so I know he has never been really convinced about DDG especially when it comes to aerial balls. I believe the problem is really about where DDG's positioning for free kicks. May he needs to start positioning himself a bit more towards the middle so he can have a chance to get to those balls that go over the wall. Having said that it is worse when a keeper gets beaten on HIS OWN SIDE like the Celta Vigo goalie yesterday. That is much worse than DDG's error, a keeper should never be beaten on his own side. |

Yeah he (Pogba) has played well and the defence has been fairly solid. We need Mikki and Lingard to step up their game in the 2nd half and hopefully Fellaini avoids a second yellow. I suspect this ref, maybe we should take off Fellaini to avoid stories that touch and bring on Carrick. |

What's his best position sef? That midfield that was dominated in a large chunk of our matches against top teams? We have practically packed the bus against City and Liverpool and were disgraced in 1 match against Chelsea. The major problem isn't JM, it is Ed who has waywardly spent hundreds of miliions of dollars in the last 3 years and we are still rebuilding. |

Nihilist: I read the reviews when they came out and their not very good. I think the DS4s are as close to solid as controllers come. The only issue with them is that the rubber cover for the analog sticks are not very durable...though these are very easy and cheap to replace.
The undisputed best controller out there is the Xbox elite. You can buy an PS4 adapter for it for use on your machine.
Best of luck Thanks for the advice. I just might stick to the DS, I have never been a fan of the Xbox controller |

elampiro: We should just start preparing Funso Mensah for next season. Let’s try him with the remaining league games.
He will win aerial balls too. He can play on the ground. He can burst forward with the ball. He needs game time and experience. The first thing with Fosu-Mensah is for them to decide once and for all what his permanent position will be. Is it DM,RB or CB? Decide that and give him minutes there. |

Jose better suit and play himself at centreback against swansea. Bailly and Blind are still there and we also have Carrick, Darmian and Tuanzebe that can pitch in if things get sticky. |

eph12: If I may ask between Fellaini and Mkhi who played worse yesterday? Difficult to say, they were both poor. That has no bearing on the issue though because all players even the great Messi will have bad days. Mkhi has shown at multiple points in his career and even at this club that he has the required quality. Fellaini is not good enough for us if we intend to get back to the top. He has the 1st touch of a r.apist and the 2nd touch of a serial r.apist |

dopeJemi: God bless you
I want him sold abeg, if we need a work horse, we can pick one from our academy or buy a cheap player with a brain that functions I remember when I said he was neither United quality nor style some went up in arms here. He is not and has never been good enough to play for us. We can't be fielding a midfielder just because he knows how to win balls in the air, only lower level teams do that. For next season JM has to set up a formation that allows Pogba thrive. He has to decide if he wants Pogba to share the holding role with Herrera with a 10 in front of them or if he wants Pogba more advanced in a 4-3-3. That will also help decide on the players to target next season. We have to start buying players with a definite set up in mind rather than just buying haphazardly. |

I agree with Ibime even though I don't share his selfish rationale. You earn more, then you should be taxed more. You know dayo is a heartless redneck lol. But what I do is simple. I don't get paid as an individual. I set up a family trust as a business identity. So my income gets paid into the trust which is not taxed. At the end of the financial year the money is distributed on paper amongst my family members who are trustees. In this way every person pays about 22-25% instead of the 45% I would have been paying. |

raumdeuter: Why should we target multimillionaires?
Are you saying its ok for some people to pay 0 in taxes just to punish the millionaires? Some of these millionaires started from the same level as you. They took risks we werent willing to take, they worked hours we weren't willing to work, studied courses you werent willing to study to be where they are
So why should they be punished for working harder or taking risks
If you are increasing taxes on inheritance, I am fine with that. But not the afrodoc2 guy in my class who is a geek, who studied while we are partying, did all nighters in class while nihilist was doing all nighter and sweating on Nkechi and now became a neurosurgeon making $1m a year.
E.g Osewa the owner of NL was my mate in Ife, he was always reading had no social life aside going to fellowship ECU and studying(worked harder). by Year 3 he decided to dropout(took a risk) I looked at him like an idiott then for doing that
15yrs later he is making 100M a year I am making say 5M a year but I want govt to tax him more and punish him for doing what I couldnt do
If you cant relate to Seun, shebi you sabi tkb wey we dey post on here before my guy tkb dropped out of paid employment, took a risk invested his money which I was too scared to do. Should they be punished? There are arguments to be made for each view point. However the progressive rate tax is the one that gives the government the most revenue without impoverishing the man on the streets. Tax revenue is a very important source of govt income and a flat rate would cause more hardship to a larger portion of society without achieving the same benefit. Also remember it is the social benefits made possible by this progressive tax system that enables millionaires like nihilist and chic2pimp to sleep without broke ass guys robbing them every night. |

SIRcumalot: I know what that means . Lol I no wan argue tonite ni. Let me try explain. Complete skill set Pogba is our best midfielder. But when we want to game plan tactically especially with Mourinho Fellaini and Herrera are unique. Our last match the way Fellaini was used as an extra CB to stop their aerial balls or in other matches where he is used in opposition box to win long balls or cause confusion. Herrera in terms of pressing, interceptions, tackling and like we saw recently finding and pocketing a hidden player is also unique. In a game where we need possession and probing patiently at the opposition Carrick is the best we have. In the various tactical set ups Mourinho would usually employ these guys have unique functions that others can't replicate as well. Pogba IMO does not. That does not take away from the fact that technically he is the best of them. I hope with these few points I have managed to convince but not confuse you that farmers are more important than lawyers. |

MRTA7: I don't agree with pogba being our least important midfielder at all though. Not in general game play, technique or quality or game play but when it comes to ticking tactical boxes. When games become a chess match what Herrera, Carrick and Fellaini bring to the team and our plans is clear, Pogba not so much. He is more of a freelancer than the others. My opinion though. |
