Shegzdave:Have a safe journey. |
INEOS gets blame after less than a year in charge, but no Glazer blame after over a decade in charge. Color me shocked. ![]() |
Leyqute:It is a penkelemes. ![]() |
larride: ![]() The guy is irredeemable. He would rather curse humanity than lay any portion of blame at all at the feet of the Glazers. |
nitrogen:It is definitely worrisome. We can't give him 2-3 years if things do not improve sha. He has until next season to get things right. Once he has an adequate pre-season to work with the players he has been given, he has no excuse not to at least drastically improve the way the team is playing. If by the middle of next season we are not showing significant improvement he needs to go. You can't buy a leopard and expect it to behave like a rhino. The club went to appoint a manager that uses a formation that makes a large part of our squad redundant. What did they expect? Now that they have signed him, they have to give him the profile of players that allows his system to work. If they appoint him and handicap him in terms of player signings, they are only setting him up to fail. We need 2 attacking WBs. We need 2 energetic midfielders that are also decent on the ball. We need a pacy left 10. We need a striker that can both hold up play and also run in behind. I had never really seen Amorin's teams play before we appointed him but after watching less than 1hr of tactical videos on his formation i knew that half of our team including several important players could not fit. I hope the club knew that as well. |

Sulphuric1:This season is long gone. As long as we no relegate i would leave Amorim to continue with what he knows so that he won't cause confusion like ETH by changing style all over the place for temporary benefit only to ultimately waste our time. Let Amorin coach as he sees fit. If he fails, he should be sacked. If he changes his style to another formation and fails now the excuse will be that he it was because he changed style and that he will succeed when he changes to his own style. That is how we will waste another 2-3 years. like we did with ETH. Let us know quickly whether there is hope with this guy and if he fails let us sack him. The original sin made by the club was not sacking ETH in the summer of last year. They now compounded it by an in-season appointment of a manager with a formation and style that did not fit the players we had in the team. There is nothing we can do about all that now, so we just have to roll with it. |
Gambit001:That is an option that might alleviate the workload on the midfielders, however our biggest problem right now is the lack of attacking WBs and a quality left 10. Based on the tactical videos of Amorin's Sporting Lisbon team we do not have the WBs for the system. Amad and Antony are the only senior players that fit the mode of winger he has used in the past. Dalot and Mazraoui can't do the job properly. For the next match Mainoo and Ugarte should hold the bench. Let us see Collyer and Bruno in CM with Amad and Garnacho as the 10s. |
AirBere:I don accept na. Hehehe. |
AirBere:Apology accepted. Go and sin no more. |

Hmmmm Onana Supporters Association, over to you. ![]() |
nitrogen:He was limping not tired. |
Leyqute:It is a likely L. Too many weapons on their team and that Baleba boy in midfield would be a problem. |
diggz:Burna did not give her that money out of the kindness of his heart but to prove a point to CCP and shame him, so therefore 350 dollars is too small. She did not go to Burna's house to beg him for money, rather he was the one that told the world that he would show his Odogwu status by uplifting the life of CCP's baby mama. If Burna was truly being a kind philanthropist that would have a different matter. Imagine trying to use her to shine and to shame CCP over 350 dollars. E no enter abeg. ![]() |
diggz:She must be lying. 350 dollars small na. Make OluwaBurna no shame him fans. That money no fit uplift almajiri life sef not to talk of slay mama. |
OasisX:No be anime, movie, or series? So you mean Nigeria youths are lazy and lack focus, ba? 😀 TBH when the worst is behind people, they will know about it. They won’t have to be told about it in a 50 minute video. |
Leyqute:Yes. Kukonki you mean. I would not be surprised if he played against Rangers. Martinez needs a rest but there is nobody to play at LCB. He is physically ready IMO but 16 is a very young age to play at CB in the EPL. Decision making and reading the game can’t be at the required level yet. |
PDPGuy:One more promise broken, maybe. They were living apart and he probably promised he would soon resign from the City job, only to extend his contract YET again. That is partly why SAF retired after his wife’s sister died. He had broken his promise far too many times already. P.S There is a pattern I have observed of long suffering women who have sacrificed their own career and time supporting their husbands, who then rebel and exit the marriage when they hit 50-60 years, usually after 20-30 years together. There is so much jobbing and boboing that a person can take. |
TrebleChamp:He is doing well so far. I would have liked him to play more Under-21 this 2nd half of the season, but the striker situation most likely means he will play more Under-18 still. |
engrelvis:Oh ho na jealous you dey jealous dem because they are making money. But you sef na chairman nah, not like you are not loaded yourself. Just live and let live my chief. This money dey enough for all of us. ![]() |
engrelvis:The 1st reason i called you a hater is because your criticism was based on a misleading premise. A 19yr old and a 22yr old are not in the same age bracket. 3 years is no joke, especially in your teens and early 20s. There is a great deal of development and growth that can happen in those years. When Amad was Mainoo's current age, he was putting in average performances for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership. It was the next season after he turned 20 that things clicked for him in Sunderland. The 2nd reason i called you a hater is that week in week out you drop negative posts about Mainoo and Garnacho who are 2 of the youngest players in the squad but i don't see your weekly attacks on the other more senior members of the squad. That means you have targeted those 2 players for your vitriol and criticism, and that is the very definition of being a hater. The 3rd reason i called you a hater is the way you go very personal in your attacks against them, calling them idiotas, modafuckas, etc. It is one thing to analyze and criticize quality or style of play, another thing to be using cuss words. Mainoo and Garnacho are 2 of the players i suspected would struggle to fit in with Amorin's formation and style and it is okay to criticize their game in a constructive manner and maybe even ultimately they might have to be sold, but coming here every week to target them and throw curse words at them when other more senior players are not receiving the same negative attention looks like hate. With these few words i hope i have been able to convince you and not confuse you that you are a hater. ![]() |
R.I.P to Denis the King our first Ballon d'Or winner. |
adebayo201:All good bro. |
Lana1:It is not really just about the relentless pressing but his timing and acceleration. The way he times when to accelerate for the press is next level. |

Leyqute:Rashford and Garnacho have case to answer. |
If Ugarte was fatigued like Amorin said, this Brighton game might be a good opportunity to rest him and try Bruno and Collyer in midfield. Mainoo also needs to hold the bench for that game at least. Play Amad and Garnacho either side of Zirkzee in attack. We won't survive the Brighton game with a gassed Ugarte in midfield. They are not Southampton. |
GloriousGbola:Makes me value our unity and support when we were in the Caribbean. Some people came around and did not get jobs for 12-18 months and the funds they came with from Naija finished. Other guys were basically feeding and housing them. Carnival time they will even arrange tickets to parties and raves for the ones without jobs. If you are lucky, they might even find a mentee for you. That is how we did it. This one where people are obtaining and exploiting their own guys is shameful. |
