Did you know how many youths are making daily bread through crypto.
Movement to and from bank also attract charges and millions of transaction are done per day
Instead of them to regularise t and put restrictions on amounts of money you can withdraw for crypto transactions, they are doing like over know it all..
Digital currency has come to stay, the way fait money take over from cowries and barter.

FG need to keep Cryptos banned, it is a DISASTER for the Nigerian economy, it sabotages forex distribution, China has banned it, Russia has banned it.
The ONLY country left to ban it to make it crumble is the USA, they may do so but when is unknown.

Sure, it's built on Distributed Ledger Technology. Yes, that's another name for blockchain technology.

Cryptocurrencies are used to make payments/move funds in the dark web and encourage opening of offshore accounts. That's why many governments consider it a huge threat.

And prior to the CBN circular,Nigeria was No. 2 in the world in P2P Bitcoin volume . By that time, the economic sabotage of Nigeria by the sheer volume in this crypto has forced us to devalue our local currency naira twice in 1 year as they mopped up naira to buy USD and then exported them out of the country to a foreign country. Our inflation had increased astronomically too especially on imported goods and services because importers pay more to get USD as they got crowded out by crypto merchants.

Other import dependent countries should learn from our bad and horrible experience with these crypto instruments. They should regulate it and insist that only USD inflows must be used for trading them so they will not kill their local economy and currency.

I kind of agree with the profit margin issue, but it has been improving YoY. The earnings and revenue beat the forecast, yet it went down by almost 7 percent that same day

How exactly would this stop crypto? Peer to Peer guys, use Localbitcoins, Finance Peer to Peer etc. Get a Crypto card for making ATM withdrawals, you can get one from Revolut, Bitpay, Cryptodotcom, Binance crypto card. Infact pretty much any debit card with Visa or Mastercard should work.

Foreign oil majors have ripped Nigeria apart for over 6 decades! These are companies that have sponsored coups and wars in Nigeria but Nigerians don't know. Their presence here is the main reason the NNPC is an eyesore. Most of these oil companies, together with their home governments are responsible for sponsoring Nigerias war machine during the Nigeria-Biafra war and have different secret agreements with the army officers that played major roles in that war. This explains why western countries prefer brutal dictators masquerading as democrats to hold sway in Nigeria. Most of the joint venture agreements favor the foreign companies! Half of whatever Nigeria earns from oil in a day goes to these companies! Irekefe panel in the early 80s established the fact that in most pump stations, there are no metering of any sort. Essentially, oil companies will load oil into oil tankers and then quote figures to the Nigerian government through the ever comatose NNPC!

This only happens in Nigeria! Not even in Kuwait or Libya will this happen.. Countries basically under western control! Part of the reason why western governments only make "silent noises" about government brutality in Nigeria is because of this reason! They need brutal tyrants to hold down restive youths so the oil companies can suck dry! A CIA report once stated that an African country produces more than double the amount of oil that is declared on daily basis! And that can only be Nigeria, since the report came before Angola joined oil exploration big time. Let's not go into deliberate environmental degradation unleashed by these evil imperialist companies on poor oil communities.., it's the worst in the whole wide world! I just hope that someday in our lifetime, a very hot headed president will take the fight to this oil companies for recruiting the worst of our kind, making them rulers over us and using their greed and lust for power to loot a generation bare..

But with forex, we have what they call leverage and lots. They allow you to trade more than what you have in your account.

With forex, you can buy with upto x1000 of your capital.
That is with a $100 capital you can trade as if you have $100, 000. Crazy right!?
Many people abuse this and wipe their account in no time thus a popular saying "forex na scam".

In terms of size.

Forex trade volume per day is upto $7 trillion. I don't know the trade volume in NYSE but it shouldn't be up to $30 billion per day.

The hedgies will be forced to buy. They have no choice. The whole purpose of this movement we started was to raise the price so when they were forced to buy they lost profit. And the hold hold hold strategy was to create more buy options than sell options. That creates gains for a stock.

What brokerages did today was reverse. They only let you sell and not buy. So if you’re panic selling and nobody can buy guess what?There’s more sell options than there are buy options which creates loss for the stock. That is what’s making these dive. If you can hold don't NOT SELL. This is their last desperate attempt before they’re forced to buy tomorrow.
