Report from the conference: There was no conference, Attendance :1

It could be that
1. I fixed the time that was unsuitable to everyone
2. members are no longer interested
3. the time selection was undemocratic.

Can we please let us know what we did wrong and what we should do differently to make sure everyone is available at the conference?

Any new member who is interested i welcome. Thank you!

I was on phone with someone who was close to the scene when the blast occurred and she said 'bomb last!, let me run into court of appeal . . .'

It is not good.

Porride oats with a drop of milk, 3 prunes
Chicken strips and 1 slice of cheese toasted in a sandwich
1/2 pkt quavers (crisps)
handful grapes
1.5 serving spoon of rice and stew, 1 beef, 1 chicken drumstick
(2 chicken nuggets from my kids plate)
1 cup coffee
2.5 ltrs water

How are y'all doing?

@ Modath, HG, missing you gals. Where u dey?? huh abeg show face now

@Tolu, keep it up good work there so far. When u say 'moderate rice', pls cld you quantify,  like is it 1 or 2 heaped serving spoon of rice etc?,  i just want to have an indication of portion size in relation to the calorie count. thanks

@Agaba, sup mate? not much outdoor action here due to the heavy rains lashing the country for the past few days or so. So for now the evening power walks with my neighbour have somewhat dwindled much to her (and esp her hubbys) disappointment. However i've realised i'm really a morning exerciser and usually by the end of the day i'm worn out, not at my peak and excuses flow easily. Also do not feel inclined to push myself as hard in the evening. She happens to not be a morning person  undecided , anyway i will still try for her small.
Well I understand what you mean about the rains in the summer. UK weather sucks angry
Modify to suit you and that's it. Too bad for your neighbour but every good thing comes with sacrifice and she should know it.

Over all good job!

My log today

12 rounds of run around the footie pitch(30 minutes)
100 bicycle crunches
100 seated oblique twists with 30kg wt
20 plank rows with 15 kg weights
45 kg push up
Other weight exercise (45 minutes)

@ Hour G
I am waiting ooooo. Blow am open. I go lend you my lappy and my internet. Amebo too sweet wink

@Toluperf

You are doing well and Babsy has advised you well too.
As per the stomach pain, it is inevitable and you cannot wait for it to stop. Trust me if you weather the first 3 minutes pain, it becomes sweet. Go for it.

Log for yesterday evening

Plank row with two 15 kg weights
100 seated oblique with 40kg weight
100 bicycle crunches
24 35kg push ups(not sure of the names)
In short, 1 did some good weight exercise 25 kg, 30kg. Can be bovered with the names. Was in a gym and had a monitored boring warm up which was surprisingly mandatory wink
I love the pains on my shoulders, tender to touch grin

This morning,

12 times round a footie pitch with some bursts in between(30 minutes)

Hello Hour G? Sup?

Babsy welldone oo. Do not rip him apart grin
Keep going at it. I am sure someone is appreciating your hard labour.
How is your neighbour? Still keeping up with your strength?

@ all
Remember to increase your challenge one at a time. Do not let your body get used to one.

Tolulop001:
what is your own, things happen tongue

show off! i will run away from this thread ho, berra beg me grin

anyway i just had lunch and Im suspecting the lunch ehn, this counting calories na long thing

How do u count rice and beans, with small plantain on the side + fish??

I dont feel stuffed or anything though undecided
lol lol
No be show off. We are encouraging ourselves. You no nsee people wee dey do 30 days shred? grin They encourage me walahi. Seriously you do not have to look at it with fear.

As per the calorie of rice and beans
cooked beans has 150Kcal/50g, rice like 270 Kcal/75 g.
Counting may be frustrating but make sure you burn more than you eat. That's it.

About your coke tummy, running does not do much on your tummy.
You need some strength exercises targeted at the muscles and with healthy eating, you shall get there

We want to research other pressure groups like SNG, what they stood for, why the dissipated and why they thrived.

Choose one and report to us: Light up Nigeria, SNG etc

We need want a legal advice before we choose whether to operate as NGO or pressure group depending on the legal limitations of each type of association.

I just love when I step into Zenith bank in Maitama. Beauty everywhere. That is the only bank where I can wait for an hour and I won't mind.

Poster, just enjoy the moment. Show of flesh has come to stay. You cannot stop it. If you notice, the effect is now like cocaine. The more of it you have, the more you get used to it and then the boundaries will have to be pushed more and more.

Just give it five years. You will see some crazy dressing to come. So just endure the sight. Afterall, you should not spend more than twenty minutes in the bank, and you don't go there everyday. Do you? cheesy

Interesting point about running out there, never thought about the diff in air. i always though it would be harder depending on the time of the day i guess, also seems u are closer north so not so oppressive heat?
Trust me there is much difference. The sun won't be an issue even though I am northward because I run early.

Also I did not notice any difference between South and North. The sweating na the same oo.
